Dear agree you POV..but i feel it should be both ways and i think today's men now are understanding this slowly and handling the matter appropriately..

the point is our society is patriarchal , sad but true..
women do feel trapped because still most of the time women are blamed for a broken marriage..

no we are not going off topic because its abt draupadi after all...the woman who spoke her heart out and faced the consequences bravely...

most of us dont even have half of her guts ... and we call ourselves the women of today..

i sometimes put myself in draupadi's shoes and imagine if my jeth or devar would had done something like this with me, i would not had the courage to go to a court to file the complain because it would be very shameful for my parents ...
imagine draupadi did that thousands of years ago..stood in fornt of the kings court and aksed questions and pleaded for justice...she really was brave and fiery...hats off to her..

Dear rasyafan i agree...its always both and vicious circle like a chakravyuh..it needs to be stopped somewhere..a lot of patience and tolerance is required from both the sides...you wont believe it last week i had been at a children's function where the children were perfprming a skit abt their duties to their parents.. and in it their was the same saas bahu situation where the husband goes out to his friends place for advice and his friend who is apparently a learned gyaani advised him - dialogue goes this way " arey dekh aisa samajh tere parents 1950's ki gaadi ka model hai aur teri wife 2013 ka model hai..toh 1950's ka model toh repair nahi ho sakta but 2013 ka toh repair aaram se ho sakta hai, tatparya teri wife ko samjha ki usko badal na hoga".

I was shocked and the kids performing this were mere eight to ten year olds...imagine teaching something like this to such young kids..😡

No it is ok even chidlren must be taught that adjust and sharing is the other name of peaceful life and since childhood we must teach our chidlren how to fight in life and how to adjust and share with others.

bas tareeka achchha hona chahiye it should be in respectful manner. Not like this. 🤢

You know my bhabhi has a 4 yr old kid we all try to teach him what we did not teach our chidlren and where we made mistakes with our kids. Especially, teaching him respect for girls, do house work. He is so domesticated that he loves dhaniya ki palak ki patti torna and you wont believe he stacks and puts away the dandiya so meatly even I don't do that he piks up all the sada hua dhania ka kuda puts them in dustbin and picks up news paper and folds it neatly puts it away with all the daily news paper. When he was a baby 1 1/2 yrs old he would observe and try to repair cycles moter cycles his toys as if he is an adult. His observation power is simply amazing. This shows whatever you teach chidlren it is with them through out their lives.

He loves to serve a glass of water and rotis 😆😆😆 baba re mere bachchon se bahut zyada kaam karta hai and he loves it so it is good for them. House hold work is good for both girl and a boy. I remember my mother telling me that her son would not do pochha but it is alright if I do it. 😡😡😡 I hated this diffeence. Now I have learnt it and I taguht both house hold work to my kids. Kabhi bhi zaruwat pad sakti hai so they must know how to do both.

Education and house work both are necessary part of our lives. Today both are working so why should only a girl take all the duties over her.

Well things change when you are a house wife so it is ok if a girl looks after house and a boy outsdie house like his work, paying bills, buying vegetables milk, My husbad do that.

I teach my son that doing house hold work is stress bustor. Similarly, gardenign is a stress buster for me.

Equal distribution of responsibilities along with feelings of sharing and mutual compassion and care is the key for amazing relations with family members.
Mutual respect brings everything in the recepi for good relation ship. Affection, love compassion kindness care and the lot.

@rasyafan yes i agree that kids should be taught to adjust right since childhood but its not right to teach them that consider your mother as 1950's car model and your wife as 2013'1 car model.. that would make them treat women as objects rather than human beings..such a bad skit that was 😡

oh your nephew is so cute...😳

Sahi kaha reshma lekin mera firm manna hai ki women target women more then men Somehow men are more understandign and more compassionate then women.

Ek woman dusri woman ki takleef nahi samajhna chahti and this is why from chidlhood we must educate our chidlren accordingly.

In our school classes there used to be a separate class moral values was the name and we would get books with teachings and stories containing moral lesoons bakayeda hamara exams hote them.

But now they don't happen any more.

This is wrong, we should start teaching all about morals and our responcibiltiy as humans towards this world, this earth and other livign species.

My nana ji gave me a book it was a big book two inches thick it was like comic book with illustrations about how chidlren should get up early in the morning how to bathe how to care for animals kuda shud be thrown in dust bin all illustrations it was a very old book I think publisher were kalyan or something from kanpur. That is where he used to live.

I am going to search for it and give it to my bhabhi for her 4 yr old. But searching for it is a painful task. 😆

So we should teach our chidlren from their chidlhood.

yes moral stories are a must..wonder why they stopped it in schools now? i used to have it every saturday moral science period in school..

all thsoe days are gone now its only percentage, admissions, donations..that's all is left in our education...

anyways about women..yes agree women don't get along with other women..firstly they try prove that they are better in everything than other women..like oh isne toh sabzi jala di meri toh kabhi nai jalti..

blah blah blah..

plus if ever a woman gets angry on another woman she will dig out and hurt her emotionally like

arey yeh itni kharab hai isliye toh bechara patine divorce kar diya iske saath..

thats what makes a divorcee woman so timid...and thats what makes women stay silent in an abusive marriage rather than divorce..
