Shikhandini's look inspired by Kareena from Asoka

Star Plus's Mahabharat is already keeping the audiences glued with its engaging narration. And in tonight's episode a new character will be introduced. Actress Shikha Singh, last seen in 26/11 and Sasural Simar Ka will be entering Mahabharat as Shikhandini.

On being asked about the role she says, " It's for the first time that I am doing such a genre. My character is of a warrior princess and it's a powerful and rebellious character. The character story is about a princess, who is born when her father wanted a son, so she is living and fighting the angst."

Talking about the look, she observed, " My character is dressed up like a princess obviously, but she is more over conceptualized like Kareena Kapoor from the movie Asoka".

Well with Shikha joining in, Mahabharat's cast list gets longer.
