What ever we have seen of Mahabharata or Ramayana is what we want to believe or what has been propagated by various saints or poets in form of ram charit manas by tulsidas or Mahabharata as recited by saints or poets. But actual epic is not only about black or white but greys too. What we are seeing now is actual epic in not only black and white but grey. As far as subhadra is concerned, she is daughter of lord balram ( brother of lord Krishna), and as per Mahabharata epic, she gets engaged to duryodhana but on the day of marriage elopes with Arjun. Arjun will get married to draupadi much earlier and since draupadi can stay with one husband at a time for a year so for four years the husband will be without wife. It will be such times that Arjun will rekindle his fondness for Subhadra.
