What is this yudhishtir here he behaves like nakul or sehdev jst a side actor...hardly any dialogue given to him...if this was yudhishthira who did not have any say nor he interferedbin his brothers activity...he is also shown angry and impatient..i mean he does not look like a prospective person for yuvraj...

Exactly! These people have made a mockery of Yudhisthira.
He hardly utters a word and follows in place of being the leader.
CVs have transformed 'Dharmaraj' into 'Mook (Dumb) Raj'.

I am giving up looking at this serial

not a single serial based on epic fit to be shown to kids

all serials so untrue and so terribly distorted , these guys r indians and have no shame or conscience that they r distorting an epic of culture

i guess the only thing that matters is money and they will sell their grandmother for money

and blame westerners for not understanding our culture when in reality if they do a film or serial on any mythology , be it greek or catholic , they do it with research , i am NOT talking of teenage hercules etc but real serious serial on epics ...take for instance BBC's serial Jesus of Nazareth

totally disappointed and i hope the serial flops and they get a good thappad .👎🏼

I still don't understand what problems the CVs had. They have a ready made story with enough twists and turns, romance and intrigues , villains and heroes. Heck, Vyasa has even written the dialogues.

And this epic has topped the best- seller charts for the past two Yugas.

So why did the CVs have to unnecessarily have to give it their own flavour ? Anyway it is tasting yuck.

The best way to make it appealing to the younger generation is by showing them an authentic version.

One more thing... forgetting Yudhishtira being the eldest and all that.. what is Kunti doing, watching the full drama and just standing there??? I mean, even if she doesn't want to scold Gandhari's sons (for which she has full rights) she can at least tell her sons? CVs, if you want to make imaginary tracks like this, at least get the characters right!!!

I really hope it does...at least they may consider pulling up their socks.
I didn't watch the Friday episode...I stuck to my decision of bunking it till some of you here post that the story is back on track.
I am really unhappy. It was nice to start with...and when the Pandavas and Kauravas grow up, that's when the real drama of Mahabharat...the real thrill starts. The laksha grih, Draupadi swayamvar, that's the main story.
What are they showing now...they have ruined the entire fun. The characterization of Pandavs itself is unacceptable. How can they show Arjun walking in the middle? He's definitely a great warrior but always respectful to his elder brothers and never tries to overshadow Yudhishtir or speak out in front of elders when his brother is present.
The Subhadra scene and exile was pathetic. Subhadra comes into picture after Arjun marries Draupadi, after they all go to Indraprastha. There's a story of Arjun being exiled because he went into Yudhishtir's room when Draupadi was present, which was a violation of what the 5 brothers had decided. During those travels, he reaches Dwaraka and falls in love with Subhadra. She never comes to Hastinapur so early. The CVs are out of their minds to do this.
I don't understand why are we so tolerant to this. If it were a story of any other religion, they would have stopped it on the grounds of hurting religious sentiments. But Hindu mythology can be distorted to anyone's whims and fancies!!! I am really upset...that this show is called 'Mahabharat' and this is what they are showing. and this is what present kids will grow up watching. will they ever learn to respect our great epics?

@vis...totally agree !!
One thing i dnt understand why they r changing the main story...what are they thinking ?? 😕

@varaali said very good point that Mahabharat itself contains lots of drama, romance...in other words u can find all characters of our real life in Mahabharat then why they ruined it 👎🏼

It seems the CVs want to disprove "Yannehasti Na Tat Kvacit" (What is not here is not elsewhere)😆 Because they are showing what is not even the essence of any story in MB... so Yannehasti Tat Kvachit (What is not here is somewhere else)..😆
