Vidur announces, in the Rajya sabha- the eldest son of Kuru vansh is born. Pandu is a father now. He asks Dhritarashtra to declare celebrations on this occasion. Dhritarashtra reluctantly announces Yagya, Homa,Havan, daan, dakshina etc for this good news. Adds now Kuru vansh's encestors will be happy too.
He goes to meet Gandhari, who was just manage to sleep for some moments while praying to the Shivling. Shkhada asks him not to wake her up. But angry Dhritarashta's voice awakens Gandhari. He vents his anger on her for not giving him a son, says he'll do something which will be a punishment for her. He leaves. Shakuni comes there consols Gandhari.

A dasi comes, informs Maharaj wants Sukhada to be present in his kaksh. Sukhada is terrified. Shakuni says he'll explain to Dhritarashtra. But Gandhari orders Sukhada to go, if this is her punishment, she accepts it with tears. Asks even Shakuni to leave. She hits her stomach, crys in pain. Some dasis take her to the palace. She gives birth to a lump of flesh.
Ambika & Ambalika are shocked seeing that flesh. Gandhari faints after trying to touch that lump.
Precap: Bheem, Arjun are received from Pavan dev & Indra, describing their qualities & name. Madri gets twins.
Vidur tells Dhritarashtra, his eldest son is born among bad omens, he may be of Aasuri nature, it's better to abandon him.
