The second Episode left me 😳As a viewer who has very scarce knowledge of the story ..it left me wondering about the storyline😕They need a better editing

I know the jist of the story but even I was baffled, the show assumes too much that everyone knows the storyline, hence they can take liberties in what they show. My dad was asking me who is who because it took a leap to 25 years later. I feel like krishna is just running lines off 😆 some background music would have helped with the flow and they should make he's voice louder I have to turn the volume up to hear his part. Should I really be getting more and more confused after each episode? Did they even watch the episodes before putting them out, it may make sense to them but as a viewer I continue to feel lost.

I think the actors are managing pretty fine but my basic problem lies in the rushed events ,the choppy screenplay and the OTT BG score..Sets are lavish beautiful and top notch but the entire sequence is so rushed.The jarring BG score is a sore to the earsI think Krishna's demeanour is fabulous the main problem is the choppy screenplay.Not forgetting to mention the OTT vampish feel to the women character😆😆😆🤢

Bhishma & Amba seem like a good combination it's a pity in the epic they don't get married. Both actors performed well.

Amba was great today, her dialogues were true, though she should not have sat in that swayamvar if she already claimed someone as her own.

someone please take Vichitravirya to rehab!! or hit him on the head to get him in his senses, alcoholic bewda!!! no wonder he dies abruptly probably massive bleeding in the esophagus!!

i agree. ratan's acting was superb. though todays episode took creative liberty to heights. we are definitely getting a star plus version of mahabharat.
but they are also trying to show the technology of those times i think... with the torch lights and perfume making machine. innovative.

also parashurams entry is fab. cant wait to see him tomorrow.

Okay, just saw the episode!

I've always hated Bheeshma for what he did to Amba, but seeing it here made me hate him all the more. Particularly his protestations of innocence, and his describing the swayamvara as a cheat when Amba disclosed that she had planned to marry Shalva all along. That was the very essence of a swayamvara - that a princess could go there either w/ a predetermined opinion of whom to pick from the guests, or select somebody on the spot. Bheeshma's statements there were pure sophistry. Also the reactions of the other kings in walking out on the swayamvara was false - they took Kashi's side & fought Bheeshma & lost; it wasn't just Shalva who fought him.

Incidentally, I loved Shalva here - they chose an adorable guy to play him. Too bad he was a one night wonder.

Amba too did great - she's a good predecessor to Draupadi, and in the actual story, was probably the only other person who stood up for women's rights, or at least princesses' rights.

Also, Vichitravirya looked drunk even @ the wedding - makes my CNAT story about him falling into the agnikund all the more likely 😆

It was funny to see Satyavati - the root of this entire fiasco - looking at Amba like a statue. Too bad Amba didn't have her torch w/ her 😈

I can't wait for the day Shikhandi gets the last laugh on Bheeshma

This show is awesomely graphic but I'm disappointed at the inaccurate in the story. Bhishma and Amba's story was written very differently in the original Mahabharat and Satyavati's Father was the one who asked Shantanu about how can he give his daughter to him when he already has a son
