D: Don't worry, I plan to make him your das. Do I have your permission to stake you?
Kaju exchange an eyelock, and then Arjun answers on his behalf
A: Of course you do - he has sold you his soul
B: Na, na, na, given away for free. But this is still not equal - if we win, we're getting an ordinary suta as a das, as opposed to you, who will be getting Arjun as a das

Priyamvada gives Kunti the news that Arjun & Karna have been staked against each other. Kunti is horrified, but Priyamvada 'comforts' her

Elsewhere, Adiratha 007 gives his dear bahu Vrushali the news of Karna being staked. She is shocked.
V: People can be staked here?

A: Hey, that's right. Do a puja so that Arya loses. I'm ashamed to call him my son. If it weren't for having you as a bahu, I'd disown him
Vrushali does her puja so that Karna loses his mukut & freedom, so that she can resume duties as Draupadi's maid, while Karna can become a das to the Pandavas... maybe of the Pandava of his choice
In the battlefield, Krishna who's looking bored while the war is on, and suddenly gets a bartman-abhas about what's going on in Hastinapur. Since he needs both his Sudarshan & his Koumadaki against Shalva, he decides to send his Panchajanya to Hastinapur to distort Shakuni's voice to the dice. The conch shell converts Yudisthir's voice as heard by the dice to Shakuni's, and Shakuni's to Yudisthir's 😈 The conch appears in the court, resting on the ceiling & camouflages itself to blend w/ the ceiling, so that nobody notices it.
Shakuni & Yudisthir then start playing. The Panchajanya plays its role, and everything that Yudisthir says he wants, he gets, surprising Shakuni & shocking Duryodhan 😲😆 In the meantime, whenever Shakuni calls a number, the Panchajanya distorts what he says so that the dice can only hear distorted numbers. Like if Shakuni wanted a 5, the Panchajanya translated it as 2. If he wanted 12, the dice made it 7, and so on.
As a result, Yudisthir safely got 3 merus home, while w/ a 4th, he killed 3 merus of Duryodhan. Finally, when Duryodhan's meru was on the verge of returning home, Yudisthir called 12, and the dice rolled accordingly, sending Duryodhan's meru to yamalok. 😆
BANS started laughing, while Duryodhan was furious!!! Shakuni suggested that they offer a combination of Nakul & Sahadev's exchange for Karna, but Bheeshma reminded them that they can only bet equals, and if one used lineage, Karna was far inferior to either Nakul or Sahadev, let alone both, while if they use valor, both Nakul & Sahadev together were nowhere near Karna.
Duryodhan then bet Dushashan against Bhima & lost. He then bet himself against Yudisthir & lost again.
In the meantime, Vrushali got the news of Karna's losing, and went to Draupadi and asked her to take her back into her service, now that Karna too was a das of the Pandavas. Draupadi smiled & accepted. She then went to the sabha, since the game had ended. Kunti & Gandhari too arrived there.
Yudisthir was feeling generous and offered to release Duryodhan & Dushashan, in order to assuage Gandhari's feelings. Bhima didn't like the idea of releasing them. However, Draupadi came to him and suggested the following:
- Yudisthir repossess Nakul & Sahadev from Duryodhan
- Yudisthir gets Duryodhan to give up any more claims on Karna's loyalty, and require that Karna's future loyalty will be to the Pandavas, who will determine his future. Since Vrushali was her maid, Karna could join her in the service of her hubbies
- If Dhritarashtra wanted Duryodhan & Dushashan freed, he release Bheeshma from his commitments & order him to accompany Yudisthir to Hastinapur, and be loyal to him for the balance of his life
Duryodhan grew furious & wanted to storm out of the hall, but Bhima slapped him and reminded him that he was still a slave, and hadn't yet gotten back his freedom. Dhritarashtra tried to bark an order, but Bhima reminded him that he was king but Yudisthir was samrat. He then ordered Duryodhan to release Nakul & Sahadev, and abandon all claims to Karna's friendship & loyalty, and ordered Karna to return his Anga mukut to Dhritarashtra, and swear lifelong loyalty to the Pandavas. Karna reluctantly agreed.
Vrushali too arrived @ the court and was happy @ this development. Yudisthir then announced that the game was over, and that he was freeing Duryodhan & Dushashan, while repossessing Nakul & Sahadev. Bhima suggested that Karna be made the das of Arjun.
At this point, Kunti was furious and ordered everybody to return to Indraprastha, along w/ Karna & Vrushali. So Kunti, Bheeshma, Yudisthir, Draupadi, BANS, Karna, Vrushali, Adiratha, Radha & Priyamvada all accompanied them to Indraprastha.
At Indraprastha, Kunti announced there that she was Karna's birth mother, & had abandoned Karna due to herself being unmarried @ the time. Karna fainted, and the Pandavas were shocked. Yudisthir announced that both Karna & Vrushali were free, and that in fact, he was turning the kingdom over to them, and that he & his brothers would serve Indraprastha Samrat Karna in any role he wanted.
Vrushali burst out crying, heart broken that not only were her dreams of a mukut free future were not only cruelly crushed, but also, that along w/ Karna, she too would have to adorn a mukut. She fell @ Kunti's feet,begging her to spare Karna the mukut. Kunti looked helplessly @ Radha and requested her to knock some sense into Vrushali.
Radha persuaded Vrushali that as Karna's wife, she was sworn to support him in life, and it so turned out that Karna was not a suta. Vrushali felt cheated. However, Draupadi too approached her and offered to support her in adjusting to her mukut, and Kunti told her that Priyamvada too would help prepare her for this. Yudisthir also told her that in addition to Kunti, not just Karna but all 5 Pandavas would honor Adiratha & Radha as parents, & Vrushali as a bhabi. Bheeshma told her that the child in her womb would become Yuvraj. Karna intervened and told Bheeshma that that decision would be made later on merit, so that if any of the other grandchildren of Kunti was better, they would get the position. Bheeshma tried to object, but Karna reminded him to look in a mirror.
Following this, Karna was crowned the samrat of Indraprastha, and Vrushali too accepted the mukut of samragni. After a few months, as her pregnancy developed, she managed to adjust to the new role, courtesy the support of Priyamvada, Draupadi & Subhadra. In the meantime, Kunti & Bheeshma were happy that all their troubles were behind them.
