Yes it was shown in DBSK, they covered MB till Bakasur killing. Krishna-Rukmini wedding was beautifully shown there.
Got it he was a Brahmin named Sunanda, sent by Rukmini to Krishna with her message. Sunanda got the reply from Krshna.

There are so many stories sometimes it is frustrating not knowing all. Kahin kahin se kahaniya nikal aati hen aur kahin kahin par jud jati hen Mind bogling but may be this very thing has us glued to these purans and veds 😆 Kisi bhi achhe kase thriller ko they can beat very well 😆😆😆 I don't think today anyone can write such thrilling mysterious stories the way Ved Vyas ji has. Whoever hear them gets like this

I wish they'd marry off Priyamvada to Amod, the whiny kid in DBSK 😈 And bring in Lata to marry Karna 🤣😈

Even DBSK showed him as Sunanda only. Atleast they were more accurate.

Ok now the same question.. SPMB are not wrong.. Drupad indeed wanted a son to slay Bhishma.. Given text below.. However I don't find any reason for his vengeance.. Would any of you know? Am dying to know the background of this .. Was he so concerned about Amba to have not been able to fulfil her wish earlier?

Bhishma said, 'O great king, the eldest and beloved queen of king Drupada was, O monarch, childless (at first). During those years, king Drupada, O monarch, paid his adoration to the god Sankara for the sake of offspring, resolving in his mind to compass my destruction and practising the austerest of penances. And he begged Mahadeva, saying, 'Let a son, and not a daughter, be born unto me. I desire, O god, a son for revenging myself upon Bhishma.'
