These questions have been in my mind forever so here it goes..

Q.1) Who was more powerful between drona and bhishma?

Q.2) If bhishma was a Kshatriya and parshuram did teach him why did he cursed karna?

Q.3) When parshurama and bhishma fought as parshurama is an avatar of lord vishnu himself why didn't parshurama defeated bhishma in a second? ( not kill him because he had the boon defeating is a diff thing )

Q.4) Aren't all avatar of lord vishnu supposed to be equal if yes aren't krishna and parshuram are equal keeping this thing in mind why didnt parshuram defeated bhishma in a matter of a second.

Q.5) Isn't it true that bhishma said to karna when he was dying that he ( karna ) was the greatest archer and warrior in the world and only Krishna himself can defeat him.

1) They both were equal just like Vishnu and Shiv.

2) Just the night before Karn Died, Parshuram came in Karn's dream and told him about his curse's and said that he was supposed to die like this that is why he cursed him so that his kawatch could desert him when he most needed it otherwise Arjun would have died. KArn was on adharm's side whereas Arjun was on dharm's side and always dharm has to win.

3) Parshuram could not defeat bheeshm as Bheeshm had the boon of being undefeated therefore, all the gods and goddesses had intervened and made them stop the battle. Amba commited suicide when Parshuram could not help her and reincarnated as Shikhandi in her next life to take revenge from Bheeshm and she became the reason for his death, his defeat.

4) Yes True Krishn vishnu himself could only defeat Karn and not Arjun. Karn died becasue of the curse not becasue Arjun defeated him. Arjun could not have been able to defeat Bheeshm either if he had not used Shikhandi as a shield. He attacked Bheeshm because Shikhandi AKA Ammba a woman was standing in front of Arjun. And Bheeshm could not attack a woman.

5) Parshuram was Reincarnation of Shri Vishnuji definitely he was powerful and he was also guru of Bheeshm. But Bheeshm had the boon that no one can defeat him.

Thanks for the answers, but i still have one or two doubts as far as i have heard bheeshm had the boon of icha mrityu not of being un-defeated correct me if am wrong

Yes boon of Swechcha Mritu or Ichcha Mritu or the power to decide the time of his own death and if he cannot die then no one can defeat him he was so powerful and talented. That is what i meant sorry for the confusion.

Ok. In tonight's episode, The Nag Raj mentioned that Bheem was a descendent of King Shuvasu, who had married a Serpent Queen. Is anyone familiar with the story behind this? I tried to search the validity of this, but I was unable to find anything online.

Why Parashurama did not curse Bhishma but cursed Karna? There are a few reasons. Bhishma became Parashurama's student because Parashu was influenced by Ganga, Bhishma's mom to take Bhishma as the student. Ganga was a well-known person and we can now see how much the influence of a great person helps anyone. On today, can you see the difference if your IAS officer mom takes you to a professor to influence him to make you his research assistant and a housewife mom takes you to the same professor to make you his RA? As far Karna, Parashurama would probably not cursed Karna if Karna told his truth when he became the sage's student. But Karna told lie that he is brahmin. Karna neither knew he was kshatriya but he was told by Drona that high level archery could be taught only to Kshatriya or brahmin but not to a sutaputra. But Karna was keenly interested to study and had fear of rejection also. and so he told lie. Probably if he had no fear and he told his truth, things would have been different.
