Since Nano Drama is a play, is it supposed to have only dialogues and minimal narration, like plays?

And Nano tale can have more exposition/description. Did I get it right?

Yes you are absolutely right, Tia. You have to write Nano Drama just as a play is written with mainly dialogues between characters and a very minimal narration as you have to fit it within 50 words.

Nano Tale is the same as you had hosted "Write the Bite" contest which I had so much fun in participating, just you need to write about Mahabharat in this contest and here word limit is 15 words.

If you've any more queries, do let me know.

Play as in?

I can't write in script form anymore, aadat chut gayi😅

I thought 50 word ka passanger chalega🙈

Also, I can't guarantee sticking to canon (i have some ideas, not sure how they'll work out) so will you tell me if i go off the tangent?

Request only the host to answer because they know what they expect from us.

Are you referring to the alphabet or to untranslatable words?

For example, if my entry is English and contains the word akṣauhiṇī, will you reject it? Or, will you reject only if the entry is English and I write अक्षौहिणी?

I hope that whoever submits Hindi entries will use a phonetic alphabet like देवनागरी. When people write Hindi in Roman alphabet without diacritical marks, mixing up nasal/non-nasal sounds (हैं / है) and e/ai (में / मैं), and using single/double letters inconsistently for long vowels, that's irritating to read.

@Bold : No it won't be rejected as aksauhini is a term from Mahabharat referring to an army or sena. You can refer to Sanskrit terms like these in your text. Else if I find anything wrong in some place in your entries, I will let you know.

I would've definitely agreed if it was possible for me. I'm not good at interpreting the stories from our epics differently, and I am not trying to say this to be humble or anything. But I am always ready to read some good stories, and I really hope to do so 👍🏼
