He leaned back onto the driver seat of his Ferrari & looks at the church where he got married.. A mocking smirk crosses over his lips thinking about His marriage & His wife ...
Demon, devil, ruthless monster who kicked out his pregnant wife off his mansion & made her suffer from a miscarriage.. These all r the tag names she had given to him...y God had given him such a disastrous life.. ?? He doesn't get what he had done to suffer all these.. His averted his eyes off the church which instantly fell on a big movie poster .. Indeed he was highlighted in that.. Superstar Rk's 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani 2' release on 25 December... His life has become just like the name of his movie.. A incomplete one & it reminded him of her... The one who showed him colours & pushed him into the deepest pit of darkness...
He takes out his wallet from the pocket of his denim & opened it.. He looks at her picture with a hint of tear in his eyes.. He remembers how they used to hang out on Christmas & new year day.. But she is no more with him.. She is so far away from him.. What wrong did he do with her for her to leave him just like that.. ?? Didn't she love him a bit... Was she acting for all those years...?? Was she acting since they were small kids...??
First she left him for some lame reasons & that was the first shock in his life...
With a heavy heart he planned to move on in his life but yet fate played the role of a villain in his life.. His wife dumped him for another man after putting all blame on his head.. Rishab Kundra aka Rk.. A leading superstar in Bollywood .. The craziness of youth... The one who gets jealousy looks from others .. For the world he is one of the luckiest men who has everything that one needed in his life, who gets what he wished for in no time.. But only he knows how miserable his life is that he wanted to get rid of it.. If it wasn't for his ma he would have ended his life a long back...
"Ma..??"he came out of his trance & checked the time on his wrist watch.. It's 11.40 pm... His mother would be really worried by now... He takes out his phone to call his ma & noticed the 22 missed calls from her number.. He had put his phone on silent mode during the shoot so he didn't notice her call..
"Hello ma.. "Rk calls her as soon as she picked up the call..
"Hello Rishu, where r u.. ??"Radha kundra, his mother asked from the other side concerned..
"I'm on the way ma.. I will be there in 10 mins.. "rk replied meekly..
"Come soon, Rishu.. V have a guest here..."radha tells him through the phone & a frown appeared on his face ..
"Ok.. "he replied calmly as he starts the car & headed to his mansion thinking who might be the person... He can very well say that person is someone important to them from his mother's voice..
Rk Mansion
Rk entered inside & saw radha waiting for him in the hall.. He watched her face confused as it shows the mixture expression of happiness & worry..
"Hey Superstar...!!"his heart skips a beat when the familiar voice hits his ear drums & he instantly turned his head to find the source of the voice .. He spots her there, descending down the stairs with a bright smile on her angelic face..She looks just like how she looked years before.. The same smile, the same mirthful eyes, everything in her is still the same like nothing had happened but he.. He changed a lot from his real self..
"Madhu came back on evening flight.. I called you to say but u didn't pick up the call.. "Radha tells him hesitantly while he stands there like a tree rooted to ground..
"Y r u looking me as if I'm a ghost..?? "Madhu asks him playfully.. Seeing him looking at her without blinking Madhu tells radha "See radha ma, I told u na he would be surprised.."
"U.. Here..??"finally Rk opened his mouth composing himself..
"Can't I come here.. Isn't it my home too..??"Madhu asks him innocently..
"No.. I didn't mean it.. U.. All of sudden.. "Rk shakes his head..
"This is called a surprise visit & I will be with u all for few more months, may be..."Madhu tells him & he felt a edge of sadness in her voice..
"U will go back to US after that..??"Rk asks her & she gives him a faint smile which didn't even reach her eyes.. He wondered what has happened to her suddenly.. She was all ok a few minutes back but now all gloomy even radha's face looked so sad..
"Leave it.. Now say this, y were u so late..??or u r always like this..??"Madhu asks him by crossing her arms against her chest.. He wanted to chuckle seeing her expression but he didn't...
"Not everyday.. Sometimes.. "he said trying hard to act normal before her..
"It's really late.. If u don't mind v can talk tmr.. "he excused himself & left from there with his heart pounding against his chest..
She is here.. She is here.. God..!! She is here for real.. Rk sat down on bed holding his head as he still finds it difficult to digest.. He pinched himself numerous times to confirm that he was not dreaming while talking to her.. But y she's back again..?? She had stepped out of his life 2 yrs before right..?? Then y again..?? For spanking on his heart again..?? He fell back on the bed with these things in mind & closed his eyes giving in to the physical exhaustion..
Next morning
Rk opened his eyes sensing someone shaking him out of his slumber by calling his name.. He opened his lazy eyes with a frown & sees the beautiful sight he ever wished to see.. His Madhu was standing before him with a beautiful smile adoring her sweet pink lips.. His Madhu..?? Does he has the right to say so..??
"Come down after freshen up.. Breakfast is ready.. "she informs him & leaves from there before he could say anything..

Rk walks down to find Madhu talking excitedly with his mother... He doesn't get how they can talk so comfortably with each other...
He seated opposite to Madhu, she looks him but he didn't dare to lift his eyes up ..
"U don't have shooting today..??"Radha asks him, usually he would not wake up late if he has shooting that day..
"No.. I took a small break... "Rk replied by serving himself..
"Hmm.. Rishu.. "radha starts hesitantly & Rk looked at her..
"Rishu, Madhu just came yesterday so she said she needs some stuffs.. Hmm.. So.. "seeing radha fumbling with the words Madhu says "Stop beating around bush, radha ma.. Say him to take me to shopping.. "Madhu says casually.. Rk nods his head, a bit awkwardly..

Madhu & Rk were in his car, on the way to mall, when the silence between them grows more awkward Madhu decides to break it..
"R u still angry with me, Rishu.. ??"Rk gets startled for a moment hearing her talking about it..
"No.. "he replied calmly without talking his eyes off the road..
"I wanted u to get the best.. "Madhu says him in a whisper.. Best..??!! He doesn't even has anything good in life & she is taking about the best ..
"It was not ur mistake that u didn't love me, Madhu..."Rk says softly & she could sense the pain in his voice..
"But it was bcoz of my mistake that u have to suffer all these.. "Madhu tells & he frowns at her hearing that.. "What do u mean by that..??"he asks confused & then only she realized what she has just said.. Even a slip of her tongue can spoil everything..
"That.. I meant.. I called off our marriage suddenly so u had to marry dipali na.. "Madhu said him caring about each word that she had said.. Rk takes a long breath hearing his ex-wife's name.. A slight mention of her name would disturb him..
"It's past.. Leave it, Madhu... "Rk tells her & Madhu could feel the same love in his voice which he had for her before..They kept mum in the rest of the journey as both didn't know what to talk...
Rk parked his car in the parking area & stepped outside the car, by the time Madhu was already outside inhaling the fresh air..
"Come.. "Rk calls her gently & she went with smiling..
After Madhu was done with selecting new wardrobe for her she takes Rk to men's section forcefully as she knew he himself won't come ever..
"Madhu I said na.. I don't want anything..V can go back if u r done with ur shopping.."Rk says seeing her selecting shirts for him..
"Can't I select at least a shirt for my childhood... Enemy.. ??"she asks by crooking her eyebrows & he couldn't help the small smile formed on his lips ..
"V used to fight a lot na"he smiles thinking about their childhood antics..
"Hey.. Mr. Ex-husband.. "their attention breaks when they heard a lady's sound from behind them... Without turning itself Rk knew who was it.. He gritted his teeth turned to face her... The woman who made him hate his life even more.. Dipali gazed Madhu from top to bottom & her lips curved into an evil smile..
"Wow Rk, u r not like I thought.. It's hardly been 2 months since v got divorced & u got hooked up with another girl this soon.. Not bad.. "dipali says looking at Madhu..
"U better shut ur bl**dy mouth.. "Rk tells her murderously..
"Oh.. That scared me.. Is she that important to u..?? What type of relationship you both share..??"she asks & Madhu looks at her with pure disgust..
"Say..Who is he to u..?? R u his girlfriend..??"dipali asks venomously at Madhu but Madhu keeps silent choosing not to answer her questions..
"Or his mistress..??"as soon as the words left her mouth she felt a sharp sensation on her left cheek.. Yes, Madhu just slapped her..
"U don't know anything about me so u better keep ur mouth shut.. "Madhu says her furiously..
"& u asked me na which type of relationship v r sharing.. Then hear this v do share a relationship from a long term & who is he to me na..? He is everything to me.. R u happy now..??"Madhu shouts at her without caring about the surroundings shocking Rk..
"Madhu come let's go.. "Rk says & drags her with him leaving a furious dipali behind.. He is a public figure, he doesn't want media to spread yet another gossip about him again..

"I'm sorry, Rishu.. "Rk who was reading a book lying on his bed looks up hearing madhu's voice..
"For what..??"Rk asks confused, he has grown a little comfortable around her now..
"For that whole Mall incident.. "Madhu says slowly..
"It happened in morning & u r apologizing at night..??"he shakes his head smiling..
"After what all happened I didn't know how to face u.. "she says by biting her upper lip..
"Don't be sorry, Madhu.. She deserved it.. "Rk says by giving her an assuring smile..
"Umm.. Rk..."she starts hesitantly & he looks at her.. Seems like she's more hesitant around him now..
"What was the problem between u both..??"Madhu asks him & the small smile which he had on his face disappeared... Seeing his hesitance she gently says him "It's ok.. If u r not comfortable sharing it...
When she was about to leave he stops her "I want to share it with u.. At least I could get some peace but don't say it to ma she won't be able to bear it.. "Rk says her..
"Radha ma told me that you're all aloof after the divorce.. "Madhu says him..
"U both were in touch..??"Rk asks in wonder..
"Hmm... Yeah.. "Madhu tells him.. He sighed..
"ok.. Now tell.."
"She had an affair.. "Rk tells her..
"What..?? But.. "he cuts her off "got to know about a different story from medias na.. ??"Rk asks her & she stared at him silently..
"But u both were married for about 2 years.."Madhu says to him..
"I knew it.. "Rk tells her..
"What r u saying, Rishu..??"Madhu asked confused..
"After you called off our marriage ma forced me to marry dipali & I did for her happiness but on our wedding night she told me that she had an affair & she was kinda serious about that.. I was shocked but I asked her what she wanted.. I was even ready for giving her a divorce if she couldn't forget him but she said me that she needed time.. I was relieved that time as me too wanted time to comprehend
everything but I had hope that v could work out our relationship but that never happened.. Even through I tried to understand her she never gave me chance.. I used to sleep on the couch & she on the bed.. I felt like v were heading nowhere so I asked her about it.. She kept saying that she needed more time to accept me as her husband & I gave her as I know the pain of heart break.. "he paused for a moment.. Madhu looks at him painfully.. He continued "but v become more distant from each other.. I couldn't bear her cold behavior anymore so me too kept avoiding her.. Stayed far away from her as could as possible.. One day when I came back after my outdoor shooting I got the great news.. "he closed his eyes in pain before continuing "that my wife was pregnant.. "Rk tells & Madhu's eyes widen in shock...
"Ma was very happy that her son was gonna becoming a father.. I didn't even know my wife was bearing whose child but the tag name got to me.. "he let out a painful chuckle.."I was so hurt.. Not bcoz I loved her or something but I believed her.. She betrayed my trust.. If she asked me for a divorce I would have given it happily but she's playing on my back.. I couldn't tolerate that.. I shouted at her & kicked her out of the house.. She planned for the divorce when she married me itself.. She was in love with someone but he was from a middle class family so her parents didn't let her marry him.. All she wanted was a huge amount from me as alimony & get settled with him.. To make her part clear she filed a case against me on domestic violence saying that I used to hurt mentally & physically, abuse her & made her suffer an abortion.."Rk tells her as he looks at Madhu whose eyes r filled with hot tears.. Her face was filled with anguish, guilt & some other unknown feelings.. Palming her mouth she runs to her room before she breaks down before him...
She fell on the floor crying once she reached inside her room.. This pain is too much for her to bear.. She could bear her pain but never his.. He is her life, he is her everything.. She wanted him to get the best but it turned out to be the worst in his life.. She forced radha ma to get him married soon.. They didn't even give him time to come out his pain.. She forced this decision on Radha ma & Radha ma forced Rishu into that marriage.. Which gave him the unbearable pain.. Isn't she also a reason behind this..?? The joyful, care free Rishab dead in him.. She had made him a lost soul.. Madhu cried her heart out & she felt the piercing pain inside her chest.. Clutching her chest she stands up to get her medical box.. He opened the box & took some pills from it in her hand & gulped it.. When the pain didn't ease she runs to radha's room praying to God to keep her in her consciousness till she reach near radha ma...
Without showing the courtesy of knocking on the door Madhu entered inside radha room stumbling on her steps & before she could fall on the floor radha holds & looks at her state bewildered..
"What happened, Madhu..??"radha asks her panicking..
"It's.. It's paining.. "Madhu tells by holding her chest more tightly..
"U cried, Madhu.. ??"radha asks seeing her eyes all red & swollen..
"I will just come back.."saying this radha made Madhu lie on the bed & runs to Rk's room.. By the time they returned Madhu was unconscious & Rk gets shocked seeing her in such state..
"What happened to Madhu, ma..??"Rk asks panicked as he picked her up in his arms..
"Pls Rishu, v have to reach her hospital now.. I will explain everything later.. "Radha tells & Rk nods.. They rushed to hospital with Madhu..
At City Hospital
Rk watched Madhu lying on the hospital blood through the glass window of ICU & his eyes welled up...
"Sir, mam.. Doctor is calling u.. "a nurse comes & informs them.. They nodded & left with her..

"Do u have her previous medical records with u.. "Dr. Samanth saxeena asks radha..
"Yes.. "she opened her hand bag & gives him a fine while Rk looked on confused ..Madhu's medical records...??!! Dr. Checked the files & says "So u knew that she is VSD patient then y did you delay the surgery...?? Now her condition had grown more worse & her medical reports r not satisfiable too ... V have to do the surgery as soon as possible or she can't be survived.. "Dr. tells them making Rk shocked ...
"Dr. , What is happening to my Madhu.. ??"Rk asked in dread.. Dr. Looked at him for a while & says "She has ventricular septal defect... A hole in her heart... "Dr. Said & Rk's breath hitches hearing him...
"Surgery is the only way to save her.. If I say the truth the surgery would be less complicated if she had done it before but now v only has 50-50 chance.. "Dr. Samanth says him.. No.. This can't be happen..!! His Madhu.. No, he won't let anything happen to her..
Both Rk & radha went out of the doctor's cabin .. Rk looks at radha & tells.. "I want answers ma.. " radha didn't even ask what he wanted to ask bcoz she knows what he wanted to know..
"I knew about it, Rishu.. "Radha tells him ..
"Then y did u hide it from me..??"Rk asks..
"Madhu said me not to tell you.. "
"What..?? Madhu too know about it...??"Rk asks her shocked.. He never expected this..
"Yes.. That's y she called off the wedding.. "radha says & Rk stared at him in shock.. Madhu called off the marriage with him because of her illness..
"Say me, ma.."Rk tells her ..
"Rishu, Actually Madhu loved u so much just like how you loved her.. V all were very happy about ur wedding but fate played a cruel game with her.. 2 weeks before the marriage date Madhu faints suddenly & she was taken to hospital & she come to know that she's a heart patient.. You were out of station that time so Malik & padmini informed me about that.. when I visited her she only asked me for one thing.. Call off her wedding with u.. She said she didn't want to burden Rishu with a dying person like her & u deserves better.. "radha says as she wiped her tears..
"V tried to make her understand but she was adamant.. She made me swear on her.. She didn't has faith in the surgery.. She said surgery would kill her soon & she needed to live as long as she could till the death come to her by itself.. "her voice breaks .. "So she broke the marriage with u saying she can't live with a person who she doesn't love .. She is the reason behind ur sudden marriage with dipali on the fixed day itself.. She wanted to u to move on & I found out dipali for u & made u marry her against ur will.. Madhu didn't do anything wrong but still she feel guilty for spoiling ur life..She survived through medicines for this long.. She shouldn't get stressed.. It will affect her health adversely.. When she called me last week I said about u & she couldn't stay there after knowing ur condition.. So she flied to India.. Do u know y she went to US after ur marriage..?? Bcoz she couldn't bear the pain of losing u.. She loves u a lot Rishu .. Pls make her understand & bring her back to life .."Radha cried hugging Rk.. Rk comes out of his numbness.."I will bring my Madhu back to her life.. "he vowed..

Madhu comes down for breakfast & saw Rk & radha r already seated.. Madhu takes the place beside Rk..
"Y only veggies today..??" Madhu frowned seeing the dishes..
"Not only today.. From today onwards.. Till u recover completely... "Rk says & Madhu shakes her head tiredly.. She knows that Rk knows about everything now but the thing that wondered her is that he is not showing any pity on her like others do knowing her condition but he's taking care of her & showing her with his love.. Now she can see the old Rishab in him..
"Radha ma .."she cringed..
"No, it's Rishu's command .. I can't help u in this.. "radha says.. Madhu silently ate her breakfast pounding & Rk chuckled seeing her expression..
"So what's the plan for tomorrow..??"Rk asks her after the breakfast...
"What plan ..??"Madhu frowned ..
"Tmr is Christmas na.. So..??"Rk asks her & looks him astonished.. She's hearing this after a long time.. She smiled reminding their old times & the time they spend together..
"What else.. Outing.. V used to sneak out when v were kids .."she tells him smiling..
"Yes.. "he replied with the same smile on his lips..
Christmas day night 7.40
Rk was driving the car in an average speed while Madhu was looking outside through the window.. She shivered feeling the coldness of breeze .. The whole city was decorated beautifully...
"Hey stop.. "Madhu says suddenly & Rk applied the break, stopping the car ..
"Rishu... Beach.. "she says in child like excitement.. Beach was his favorite since her childhood.. They used to spend a lot time there..
Madhu sits down on the sand ground & looked at the endless waves of the sea ..
"Can I keep my head on ur lap, Rishu..??"Madhu asks him in return he holds head head & placed her head on his lap & started caressing her hair..
"What will u do when I die, Rishu..??"Madhu asks him..
"Sshh.. "Rk keeps his one finger on her lips..
"Nothing will happen to u.. "Rk tells her...
"No Rishu, it's my destiny.. I will.."before Madhu could complete Rk says .."Nothing will happen to u till I'm breathing..."Madhu leaned up & looks at him.. She couldn't hold on her love for him anymore.. She was overwhelmed by his love.. She leans down & takes his lips in hers & he too responded to her.. They kissed each other putting all their love, passion, longing & hurt in it.. They parted after what felt like an hour.. Madhu smiled at him but suddenly she felt the pain in her chest again..
"Aahh.. Rishu.. "she clutched her chest & cried..
"Madhu.. Oh God.. Oh God.. Pls.. No.. Madhu.. "he scooped up her in his arms & rushed to hospital..

"Mr. Kundra v only have one way left.. Surgery.. U have to take a decision soon.. Her condition is becoming worse minute by minute.. "Dr. Said to a restless Rk..
"Then do it Dr., I want my Madhu safe & sound.."Rk tells Dr.
"V will try our level best but the patient is not confident then how can v save her.. She should be strong instead of thinking about death.. She strongly believes that she will die if v do the surgery.. "Dr. Says him..
"Can I talk to her Dr..?? Pls.. I won't take much time.. "Rk requests..
"Ok.. U can.. "Dr. Says..
Rk enters inside the ICU & sees his Madhu lying on the bed.. There was oxygen mask on her face & she has her eyes closed..
"Madhu.. "he calls her gently & she opened her eyes hearing him.. She smiles at him & signaled him to remove the oxygen mask off her face.. He did & she speaks faintly "I'm going, Rishu.. Going far away from u all.. "
"Madhu, I said u.. Don't talk like that.. It hurts me Madhu.. It hurts me so much..."Rk says as his eyes started to fill with tears..
"Y Rk..??"
"Bcoz I love you, Madhu .. I can't live without u.. There is no existence for me without u, Madhu.. Pls.. Madhu don't give me this pain.. I don't live without u, Madhu.. For me YOU HAVE TO COME BACK.. "Rk tells her..
"But Rishu.. "
"Promise me, u will come back for me.. For our love.. Promise me, Madhu .."Rk tells as he extended his hand & Madhu takes hold of his hand & gently smiles at him..
"I will come back for u, Rishu .. Only for u.. For our love... I have to live with u the life I wished for, Rishu.. "Madhu says & squeezed his hand giving him an assuring smile..
After sometimes Madhu was wheeled into the Operation theatre..
After hours
Doctor samanth comes out of the operation theatre after the surgery & informed everyone that the operation was success & Madhu is safe now..
Next day
Madhu opened her eyes slowly & looks around.. She asks for Rk ... After few minutes Rk entered inside by wearing the dress which is alloted by the hospital..
"See.. I'm back.. To annoy u for the rest of ur life.. "Madhu says with a tired smile..
"I do love this, annoyance.. "Rk says & kissed on her forehead..
"U were so confident that I will come back to life.. "Madhu asks him..
"Yes, coz I knew Santa Claus dada will not let anything happen to my Christmas gift.. "he says & winked at her...
December 31, 2018 (11.59 pm)
Rk & Madhu were excitedly waiting for the clock to tick 12.00 & finally the needle reached on 12..
"Happy New year...!!! "Rk & Madhu yelled in top of their lungs standing on the balcony watching the fire works..
"Ouch.. "Madhu puts her hands over her protruded tummy ...
"Rk he..he kicked for the first time.. "Madhu says happily caressing her tummy..
"What.. I want to feel.. "Rk says & puts his hand over her tummy by standing behind her & the baby again kicks & he felt it .. He leaned & kissed on her tummy.. "Happy New year, baby .."he says..
"No kiss for baby's mommy.. "Madhu pounds.. Rk straightened up & kissed on her pounded lips... She smiles at him...
"I love you, Madhu.."rk says & kissed on her cheek..
"I love you too, Rk.. "Madhu says as she leaned more onto him.. They keeps looking at the sky welcome a new year & really special year which is gonna bring their bundle of joy to this world...
