Part 1
DING DONG!
Door of the apartment opened and a young girl around 20 stepped inside it, then passed her bag to the girl who opened the door saying:
"Madhu! Make two cups of coffee!" ordered the girl who just entered the apartment before turning behind her and said:
"Come in Rishab! Feel free Buddy!" with a smile.
"Sure Deepali!" in a not interested tone.
Entering inside the apartment, Rishab moved to the couch without noticing the person behind Deepali, near the door.
Madhu closed the door and went to kitchen without giving any attention to them.
"I will get freshen up! Then you can go." Deepali said.
"Is it needed?" Rishab demanded.
"You remember the conditions!"
"Deepali!"
She already left from there and closed her room's door.
- A real torture! -
Few minutes passed.
Madhu emerged from kitchen and approached Rishab taking baby steps with a tray containing two cups.
Hearing the anklets sounds, Rishab who was lost in thoughts came back to reality and lifted his head to see the beauty in front of him.
- Simple and Beautiful! -
She bended a little to make the tray reach his hand level with still her head bent.
He took one cup saying:
"Thank you!" with a smile.
She just nodded before turning to the other side, then left the tray with coffee for Deepali over the coffee table and moved to the kitchen while the music of her anklets reasoned in the apartment.
Deepali emerged from her room calling Rishab who was by now finished his coffee.
"Sorry yaar! I can't give you the other room as it's used by her. Go and freshen up in my room. You can put your bag near the cupboard. And if you need anything ask me."
"Thanks!"
"You proceed, I'm heading to kitchen to ask her cook dinner. Do you need anything special as you are coming here for the first time?"
"No! Nothing! Whatever you are doing already is a great deal for me even if I have some conditions to respect."
- It's not my place here and it can never be. -
Nodding Deepali left to kitchen and Rishab to Deepali's room.
Deepali asked Madhu to prepare something light and went to entertain herself through TV.
Few minutes after, she was joined by Rishab.
"How many months?" she asked.
"6 months to go." feeling terrible.
- 6 more months to suffer. -
"So 6 more months for me." she muttered under her breath.
"Did you tell something?" he asked hearing the last word of her's.
"Nothing buddy!" after few seconds of silence, she continued: "I think I have to go and check if dinner is ready, it's already 8:30." Saying so she turned her head towards the kitchen to find Madhu walking out of it.
Deepali raised her brows asking 'What?' and Madhu understanding what Deepali asked, showed the dinning table and went back to kitchen after seeing Deepali node positively.
"It's ready buddy! Come let's go!" said Deepali, catching Rishab's attention from TV.
"OK!" saying so he got up followed be Deepali.
- Hope it will be better than the hostel food. -
They took a place around the table and Madhu served them without uttering a word.
Deepali and Rishab was having their dinner with Madhu by their side in case of need.
Few minutes later, Madhu was serving water to Deepali when she saw Rishab's plate empty.
She immediately went to take the vessel to serve him and he started to do the same. So their hands touched and Madhu immediately pulled her hand away, keeping a good distance from him. At that moment he felt her shiver with this one touch and their eyes met for less than 2 seconds.
- Are they eyes or magnet? Wish I can hear her voice too. Will it be like music or Music? -
From then on Rishab's eyes stuck to Madhu while she was feeling sick to be observed like that, so she went to kitchen.
"Do you have any plan for tomorrow?" asked Deepali to break the silence.
"Have work!" Rishab replied coming out of MadhuLand, hearing Deepali's voice.
"Even on Saturday?"
"I don't think I have to answer you!"
- Why is she so interested in getting to know my life. -
"But"
"It's my life! Your conditions will not be overruled. So don't try to interfere and stay in your limits." he said as strong as possible closing Deepali's mouth to not let another word come out on that topic.
"I thought we could go shopping because there is a lot to buy since I have been here from last 4 days." she said after few seconds.
He didn't reply.
- Shopping with girls is something I don't want to experience until the person is my wife. -
Madhu could hear all these as kitchen is adjacent to the dinning table.
She saw Rishab finish his dinner and went to settle in hall while Deepali was still over her food.
Once Deepali went from there, Madhu took charge of cleaning the table, then she washed the dishes before taking her dinner while standing in the kitchen.
When she came out of the kitchen she saw both of them fully concentrated on TV.
Hearing the anklets' sound, Deepali and Rishab turned to the direction of Madhu and Madhu feeling 2 pairs of eyes burning her skin turned her head and looked at Deepali, she just nodded and went to her room.
About 1 hours later.
"Why did you took this apartment?"
"I always wanted to be here instead of hostel but Mom was against it. Last week, I was expelled for being late. So, I convinced Mom to take this apartment and she accepted on the condition of taking Madhu with me. By the way, it's Dad's!"
"Oh! Is she your family?" with his head a little in the direction of Madhu's room indicating he is talking about her.
- I would like to know more about her. -
"Nooo!" she yelled and her face changed colour. "She is staying at our house, that's it." taking a breath, she continued "You didn't ask me why I was expelled?"
"I think it's your personal and I don't want to interfere." he said calmly.
- Why should I ask about something I'm not interested in. -
"Warden caught me being late for the 5th time in less than 1 month!" she yawned "I feel sleepy!" announced Deepali.
"Can you just pass a pillow and blanket before closing your room?"
"If you want you can share my bed, I don't hav"
- What does she think of herself? She is helping me but not at the stake of my principles. -
"I have! I don't want to share my bed with some other girl than my future wife." cutting her in-between.
"Let's see that." she said under her breath while going to her room.
She gave him the necessaries and left him in hall biding 'Good Night!'.
The night went calm for Rishab, with lots of questions for Madhu which she will never voice and few game plan to incorporate by Deepali to have Rishab.
It's 7 in the morning.
Madhu came out of the room rubbing her closed eyes, making her way to kitchen when she tripped over something, closed her eyes waiting to kiss the floor but without any hurt she fell over something. Oups NO! When she opened her eyes feeling something radiating heat under her, she saw that she tripped over Rishab's leg and fell over him, on his back.
Rishab has to start every day with push ups and some other indoor exercices to keep himself calm.
It has became his routine since he joined college.
This morning, he was doing his regular activities when Madhu landed over his back, gripping his shoulder for support. Feeling hot breath over his nape and something soft pressed against his back, he turned to his left to see a soft hand gripping his shoulder, few locks flowing in air and a beautiful face with closed eyes.
- Oh the Beauty is laying in the confortable bed. -
"Soo...Sorry!" Madhu said once she found her voice, leaving his shoulder.
"I thought you were dumb!" he said but she was in her own world trying to get on her feet.
- I was correct her voice is like music. Yeah Music! -
She started to get off from his back but with a sudden move he turned holding her from back and she landed on his chest with his hand around her waist and then one hand tucking few strands of hair behind her left ear, trailling his index finger along her skin, sending goosebumps to her.
- She is damn cute with her goosebumps. -
"What are you doing this earlier Beauty?"
- Cute Beauty! -
She struggled to get up by placing her both hands on either sides of him along with her legs, while creating a little distance between her soft ones and his hard ones as Rishab wasn't holding her strongly.
"Please Beauty, don't do that! You don't know what you are doing." he announced but she continued to struggle without listening to him.
- OMG! What is this Beauty doing? How can I explain her? Innocent Beauty! Please don't make me weak! -
"I'm warning you! Don't move!" he said in a littler louder tone, making her startled.
She lifted her head and saw his eyes scanning her face for something.
- Those innocence filled eyes are asking me to dive in them. -
"Do you know what you were doing?" he asked her once he felt her being immobile.
"Haan?" with innocence filled eyes.
He removed his hand from her waist and showed her how they are with his eyes.
- See Beauty, you are over my private part. -
With this new piece of information which took more than 20 seconds to process in her brain, she jerked from him.
"Ouuuchhh" "Ahhhaa" both in unison.
Rishab's lion's teeth chain and Madhu's pendant chain got tangled when Madhu landed over his chest.
Without knowing that she shifted immediately to his left when she came to know what would be the outcome of their previous position and due to her sudden movement and force, their chains hurt their respective neck and made their forehead collide, Madhu's left hand pressing his bare chest and Rishab's left hand gripping her waist and balancing her, to not hurt themselves further.
After composing themselves, they both opened their eyes simultaneously with still Madhu's forehead over Rishab's. Their breath mingled and their eyes locked for few seconds.
- She is just attracting me more and more with each of her actions. -
Madhu breaking the latter, shifted her head a little away taking care of not to hurt him or herself once again. She trailed her left hand towards the knot between chains and started to work on it. She struggled for few seconds but nothing worked.
- Beauty! Don't trail, just press there. THERE. -
Rishab smiled and took hold of Madhu by putting his hand around her shoulder and came to the sitting position with Madhu on his lap. He brought his hand from shoulder to the chain and taking off her hand from it, he freed their chains with the help of both his hands.
- I would like to keep you like this for my whole life. -
Madhu immediately got up and made her way to kitchen without giving him a glance even when he told:
"By the way, I liked your yesterday dress more."
- Each thing has his own advantage.
Even in this simple night salwar suit you are attractive Beauty.
But I would love to see you more in half-sarees or in sarees. -
She directly went to kitchen's window, opened it and prayed murmuring something without heading a pounce to what he said.
- Wow! You came to see the sun, the superior and not bad, You saw the Superior! -
He got up and wore his tee-shirt which was lying on the couch until now and waited for her to finsih her prayers.
"What were you asking? To see the Sun daily? Don't worry you will see me for the rest of your life." he said when he saw her turn and walk back to her room.
Hearing his words, she turned and glared before closing her door.
- I think there is an hidden Wild Cat in her.
What to do to get that out? -
The day went with Rishab at his work, Madhu at home and Deepali at shopping.
The night went uneventfully as much as Friday and everything repeated on Sunday except the fall of Madhu over Rishab which became a teasing session by Rishab.
Rishab stayed there until Monday morning and went directly to college.
Since that week-end, it has became a routine for Rishab to come to Deepali's apartment every Friday and go back on Monday.
Rishab tries to get close to Madhu but she puts all her effort to distance herself from him. The words he repeats since the first time he heard her anklets are "You are attracting me."
Deepali is not at all aware of this as she never talk to Madhu (meaning only orders her) and never lets Madhu utter a word except what she needed to hear. She is in Rishab's world and she is planning to get him since last 2 years and 4 months but nothing is working until now. And she has only few more months in hand. The only mantra she signs "You are only mine!".
Madhu like always get up earlier in the morning, do her works (household chores) and closes herself inside her small room until she is called for anything. Once in a week she goes to the temple not far from the apartment and spends 1 hour there. All she wants is "Learn, Love & Live!"
Learn what comes and what goes around us.
Love even the worst enemy.
Live with what we have and try to improve it with our own struggles.
Like that 2 months passed for them and rest of the world.
Until now everything is normal.
It's 10:30 AM Saturday, Madhu is in the kitchen cooking, listening to the TV sound coming from hall where Rishab is, while Deepali just got up 15 mins back, so taking bath which will take another 30 mins.
Along with the song playing on the TV, Madhu was doing her work when suddenly she heard a deep husky voice near her ear:
"Your scent is just pulling me towards you." saying so he back-hugged her with his chin resting on her shoulder inhaling her scent, his one hand snaking inside her half-saree and the other one over it while making her jerk in the place as she dropped the big solid spoon she was using to cook daal.
- I tried a lot to keep distance but I couldn't anymore. -
Struggling, she tried to remove his grip but she failed.
She pleaded him to leave her free: "Ple...Please. I..I'm not like th...at."
"I will never say the contrary Beauty."
- In these 2 months, I got to know more about you even when you didn't speak to me.

She struggled until she felt his hand lossen around her waist as he felt tear drops over his hand.
Removing completely his hand from her waist, he made her turn, then turned off the gaz and held her by shoulder in her place as he felt her move away.
She had her head still bent and she is shaking a little bit while shedding tears.
- I made her cry! How stupid of me? What will she think about me? How am I going to make her understand? -
Leaving her shoulder, he cups her face with both his hands and makes her face him.
Her eyes are still down casted.
Pushing her tears away with his tumbs, he says:
"I'm sorry. I was just... I will never do that. I wanted to be with... Leave it."
- First time, I'm struggling to speak to a person. Even when I had heated discussion with my father, I was all calm and composed but now. I'm going insane. -
He peeked her forehead.
With this sudden action of his, she lifted her eyes and saw him leave from there after declaring:
"You are the first girl to whom I felt attracted. And you will be the only one."
She only heard the main door closing sound.

Madhu is the one who can't voice her question. But you all can, so tell me how you felt. Sorry, don't take me wrong.
