It was one of the usual days when Madhu walked in to college to witness the sight which brought a sudden unexplainable pain in her heart. RK's one hand resting on a pillar as he leaned on to Deepali flirting with her . Or was it flirt ? He had a crush on her since they joined this college in their first year. And now it was their final year. RK had proposed her 2 years back in his Birthday Party when he asked Madhu whether she would attend his party and she politely denied him by making the excuse of her cousins coming from Austria that night when in actual she absolutely had no relative in Austria. She just needed an excuse. To be away from him. Now can she let things get out of her hand? She has always been uncomfortable when she saw heartbreaks or breakups. She even used to pity people who were in a one sided love or relationship, never wondering that in coming years she was going to be added in her own list . She broke out of her thoughts when Deepali called her name astonished seeing her there. It was their History Class. And as usually Deepali bunked it to be with RK. And today even principle was on leave. So Rk and Deepali had no fear of getting caught while romancing during college hours.
"ah ..yeah" Madhu as suddenly breaking out of her haze replied her as she looked around her surroundings. How did she come here? She was supposed to be in principle's office .
"What are you doing here chubs ? " RK asked Madhu curiously as that corridor was at the backside of college and people rarely use it after stories were made of spiritual activities being present there
" No..er..err i was supposed to go Principle's office ." Madhu replied stammering. A little confused at herself that how she took this route.
" Hmm ..so come you're here? " Deepali asked
" I don't know.. " Madhu whispered softly still confused.
" Anyways Madhu , if professor asks about me then just tell them i was not feeling well so went home " Deepali Said to Madhu since they were in same class.
" Alright I'll " Madhu replied with a small smile. She always like to favor her friends. Well with Deepali it wasn't the same matter as she wasn't her friend but then wasn't her enemy even.
In fact a truth to be told she actually liked her a bit.
Reason Maybe she knows just never wanna admit.
"Btw chubs .. I heard you are going to be my dance partner in upcoming annual music function ? So we should start practicing for it right? " Rk asked Madhu as he heard that his partner was going to be Madhu in it. Being one of the famous classical and salsa dancers in their college . When annual Music function was announced the principle specially arranged a choreographer for his students. And Ila Ramani being their choreographer decided to take RK as main lead in a dance performance because of his good looks and of course his Charm .And when everyone thought that he was going to be paired up with Deepali Ila Ramani Ji announced that Madhubala Malik will be RK's partner seeing her previous records and trophies of inter championships on salsa & classic dance which she won for college.
"Whatever u go .. aren't u being late for your class.?? You even have to first visit principle's office " RK reminded her indicating her to stop teasing him .
" Huhh..what a sissy " Madhu said rolling her eyes
RK bursted out laughing loudly seeing her irritated and pissed off . Damn she looked errmm ..cute? ..
While Deepali was fuming . Try as she may , she can be RK's girflfriend , his companion in bed , his interest but she can never be what Madhubala Malik is to RK .His Bestfriend.!
Fuming in anger she went from there . While the Clueless duo RK Madhu looked ateach other then at Deepali wondering what happened to her all of a sudden.
Kundra Mansion :
" Rishu..Rishu where are u ?? Are u in Bathroom? " Radha knocked on her son's door.
"Mom i,m in shower." Shouted Rk from bathroom
"Come downstairs after your shower . okay? " asked Radha
"Okay Mom " Replied Rk loudly.
After 15 mins
"Yeah mom , u called me? "Rk asked seeing Radha in living area while climbing stairs.
" Rishu , Madhu called me asking whether u are going to her house or not . so just confirm her . And where is your phone ? " Radha asked
" Mom vo..umm..yeah ..My phones battery was low so maybe it got switched off. I slept after coming from college so forgot to contact Chubs " said Rk
" Rishu..! Her name is Madhu " Radha chided her son.
"she is Madhu for u not for me " Replied Rk grinning..
Radha shaked her head at his childish behavior
"Anyways what time it is? " asked Radha
" Its..." Rk checked his watch and freaked out..!!
"Mom I'll see u at night. I have to leave now. Madhu must be waiting for me.Shit I,m 2 hours late..!! " shouted RK to his mother while rushing out of house in hurry.
Malik's Residence :
Rk rang the bell nervously.
The door got opened. And there stood Madhu glaring at him with her hands on her hips
God ..I,m in real trouble now...!
P.S : Since almost all of u liked the name Chubs😃 , I have a confession to make .😛 It wasn't my idea 😳. I just saw this Korean Drama in which Hero calls the heroin i.e his childhood friend Chubs 😆
