Ok here it goes...

guys this story has Maharashtrian Backdrop. I was thinking to write In Rajesthani backdrop but I didn't know there Tradition, Culture so I dropped that idea and then I wrote.

Just a small update.. Felling board so thought to write If you don't want then I am not gonna continue this story so Please tell me..

Year 1746

Satara, Maharashtra,

A Maratha warrior riding his Galloping horce enters inside the Boundry of Massive Palace. Jumping from his horce he hurried inside Palace. The Palace was extremely beautiful with stunning architecture, antique items and large Portraits of Great warriors hangings.

He step inside the court Room and stand infront of Balraj who was sitting on his throne resting on Pillows."So Good news or bad news?" Balraj ask him. He looks down indicating there is some bad news. Balraj closes his eyes in irritation. "Say!" Balraj says furiously. "Chatrapati, Maharaj Mohan Krishnrao Gaekwad his Son Mukund Rao and Maharajdhiraj Shamsheer Rao Holker died while fighting with each other." He says in worried tone. "Enough!" Balraj stand up in anger. "Raje (King), Please calm down." One of his Minister says. "I am tried of this... There Rivalry is getting into my nerves now.. Today we lost such a great fighters..." Balraj says. "Raje, We have to do something... Wo.. we lost 10,000 warriors in this war.. And if they will fight like this... Raje, Mughals are getting stronger day by day.. Specialy Sultan.." , "I know you don't have to tell me... Anyway after cremation and all completes, call them.. I have something in my Mind.." Balraj says leaving.

One month later.

"Raje, He is Battukchandra ( Bittuji.. Lol) Rao Gaekwad chief Councillor of Maharaj Mahan Rao." Balraj nods and gesture bittuji to Sit. "And.." , Bittuji face turned furious seeing a Man enters "... He is Yashwant Rao Holker, Son of Shamsheer Rao soon to be heir of Holker kingdom." Bittuji and yashwant started glaring each other which was notised by everyone. "Chatrapati, you called us?" Yashwant ask as he glare bittuji. "Yes! I called you here to resolve you Rivalry." Balraj says. "That is going to ever happen." Bittuji says looking at yashwant. "It is going to happen.just resolve it. We don't have time to waste.. Let's start with everything fresh." , "No!" Both shouts. "See.. I want all the Marathas to be united and fight against mughals not to fight in our own peoples. We have to save our country..." Balraj tells them. "But!" Yashwant cut him off. "No buts.. You are going to forget your Rivalry and for that i have decided something.." Balraj says with a smile. "What is that?" Bittuji ask him. "Battukchandra, who is your kingdom next heir?" Balraj ask. "Our heir will Rishabh Krishnrao Gaekwad.." Bittuji replies. "So your successor is Rishabh.. Good.. Yashwant do you have any sister?" , "Yes! Her name is Madhubala.." Yashwant tells him in frown. Why he is asking?. "So It is decided your Successor Rishabh Krishnrao is going to marry your your Sister Madhubala... Congratulations!!" Balraj wishes them. "What!" Both shouts at the same time. "Yes and you are not going to say No to Chatrapati Balraj Bhosle.. "

Holker Palace

Indore, Madhya Pradesh

"Aai (Maa)!!!" Yashwant shouts as enters her his Mother's Room. "Kay Jhalee? (What happend?)." Padmini ask him. "Aai, I need to talk something important." Yashwant touches his Mother's feet. "Yash!! You went to satara Right?" Padmini ask him giving Prasad. "Hmm... Aai.. Woh... Chatrapati want to.. Wo.. He want madhu to Marry to that Gaekwad.." Yashwant says in disgust. Padmini look at him shockingly and Thali of Prasad which she was holding fallen down with a thrust. Padmini falls down but Yashwant catches her. "Aai!! Please.." , "Why God is punishing us. My daughter is going to marry to groom whose father is killer of my husband." Padmini cries. "We can't deny him Aai.." Yashwant says while praying to God for his little sister."where is madhu?" Yashwant ask. "She is playing with her friends." Padmini says while sniffing.

Laxmi Villa

Baroda, Gujarat

"Chatrapati is so cruel." Meera says furiously. "Aaka/ Taai!! (Sister!!) say something!" Meera shakes Radha who was sitting without any expression. "Say something... He killed our husband and now chatrapati want that Holker's Daughter to be our Bahu!!" Meera shouts. "I don't know Meera. I am shocked. I need some time.." Radha says and leaves. "Aai!!!.. What happened Why Radha Aai is crying.." Shishdhaar (One and only our Sikky) ask his Mother. "Son, Chatrapati decided that Holker's daughter is going to marry our Rishabh." Meera says sadly but then her expression changed and she makes a evil smile "Deva (God), Aai is going mad. Wait i will call Vaidh (docter)" Sikky says and get but but Meera hold his hand. "Bappa!! Why me.. Why you gave me such a idiot son..." Meera says in disgust. "Aai!" Sikky pouts. "Anyway why are you smiling?" Sikky ask while eating his Apple. "Can't you see.. Your step brother is going to Marry to our Rival family.. He will surely hate her and she will too.. And if not then I am here to spice up their life.. They will never be happy... " Meera says evily. "But why?" Sikky asks. "I wish I can kill you but I can't... And about your question the reason is that Because I want you to sit on your Father's throne not that Rishabh..." Meera says. "Wow.. I am so happy!!!" Sikky says excitedly.

"Maharani! Raje Rishabh came.." Servant informed Radha. Radha happily Runs toward entrance of the Palace. "Majha Badaha (My Son)" Radha says as She caress her 14 year old son. "Aai!!" Rishabh gently bent down touching her feet. Rishabh smiles but still his heart pained seeing his mother wearing complete White plain Saree without any jewelries. "I Missed you so much." Radha says as they enter Rishabh Room. "Even me.." Rishabh says with a smile. "You take rest now then we will talk." Radha says.

"I need to talk something urgent." Radha says sadly. "Aai! What happend?" Rishabh ask her wordily. "Chatrapati Wanted you to Marry That.. Um.. Shamsheer Holker dau... Daughter... " Radha tells him. "What!!" Rishabh shouts furiously. "No! I am not going to marry that girl who killed my Father..."

At the Same time.

In Holker Palace

"Madhu, meri Gudiya please understand... " Padmini sits next to her 14 year old daughter and ruffles her hairs. "How Can I Aai.. They killed my father.. " Madhu cries bitterly hugging her mother. "I know but you have to sacrifice... We don't have any option.." Yashwant says as he look at his father's portrait asking to help them.

15 Days later

Satara,

Bhosle Palace was beautifully decorated everyone was gathered there for Rishabh krishnrao Gaekwad and Madhubala Rao Holker engagement. Rishabh furiously stand there waiting for his so called Fiance to come whereas Radha, Meera and other ladies watches everyone from Gallary. Meera was still blabbering as well sadly eyes other womens jewelries and cries. Soon Madhu family too Reach. Rishabh becomes more furious in every second. Soon Darbari Announce and Madhu gently as well as furiously step inside behind her Mother. Rishabh looks at the Girl exactly of his age enters, girl was beautiful but he hate her from core of his heart!!. Madhu too watches Rishabh in anger. "Ikde Basa (Sit here)" Rishabh and Madhu sat next to each still glaring each other. Radha Gave Rk Ring and Padmini too give Madhu Ring. They slipped rings on their fingers and completed engagement and soon Pandits and Purohits started discuss weeding date.

"So, when is the Marriage?" Balraj ask pandit. "Um.. Raje.. Who.. Rishabh Can't Marry before 22.. There is some problem in his kundali." Pandit explains him. "8 Years!!" Meera Shouts. "Is there is no other chance?" Balraj ask them. Pandit turn their in Negative. "So it is decided Madhubala and Rishabh is gonna marry 8 years later.." Balraj announce. Gaekwads and Holkers both nods their heads. While Madhu and Rishabh makes Faces.

"Madhu you wait here.. I will just Come.." Padmini says leaving Madhu all alone. Madhu sat their for a while but soon she started felling Bore, Madhu get up and Run outside. "You!!!!!!!" Madhu and Rishabh both shouted at the same time seeing each other. "Rakshas.." Madhu shouted as she tries to Punch Rk. "You MadhuMakhi!!" Rk pushes her. "Your Father killed my Baba!!" Madhu says. "Your Father too killed my Baba.." Rk replies and pulls her Choti. "Aai!!" Madhu cries. Rk smirks seeing her tears, He like seeing her tears. Madhu looks at Rk seeing His Smriks Madhu decided she will never let him made her cry. Madhu wipes her tears and with her full force Pushes Rk making him fallen, Madhu laughs which Made Rk furious He too get up again pulls her choti and started beating her. "You want to marry me nah.. Now I will show you what I can do... I will make you cry eveyday..." Rk shouts. "Accha!! You will make me... I am Madhubala holker.. No one dare to make ME cry.. I will too show you what I can do..." Madhu kicks Rk. "Deva!!!" Radha shouted seeing her son and her daughter in law fighting madly padmini too came running and pulls them apart. They both drag their Children away from each other.

8 Years later

Holker Palace

Maheshwar

"Madhu.." Padmini shouts trying to find her daughter. "Aaji (Dadi)!! Aatu (Aunt) is In Court Room." Padmini's Grandson inform her. "Hi Mulagi Badalu Karanara nahi (This girl will never change..)" Padmini says. Suddenly Padmini spot Madhu's Engagement ring lying on Table, She picks up. Madhu hide behind curtains trying to listen conversation happening between her Bhau (Brother) and other minister, it was her daily routine to listen them. She likes to listen their interesting conversation but according to her mother she is a girl and a girl can't take part in Debates of Court, still she hide behind curtain to listen. She had an urge to Go and take part in their discussion.

"Ouch.." Madhu shouts as Padmini pulls her ear. "What are you doing here?... How many times Should I have tell you not to come here but you..." Padmini says. "Aai!!" Madhu touches her ear. "What are wearing huh?... Go and wear some good Saree relatives are coming AND Take this.." Padmini says and thrust Madhu's engagement ring. Madhu makes disgusting face, "I don't want to wear this!!" Madhu says angrily. "I know you hate this but Relatives are coming to see your new born nephew.. Please Understand!!" Padmini as Dragging Madhu with her. "Now you are looking like Princess of Malwa." Padmini says kissing her on her Forehead. "Meri Nazar na lag Jaye.." Padmini says as she put kajal on Madhu.

Baroda

Two young men fighting sword war with each other. "Bhau.. You will lose today.." One says. "Ahann.. Let's see.." He says and swiftly turns and with full force make other one fall as well as his sword which fall just a centimeters away from him. "Ouch!!" Sikky cries. Rk smirk and forward his hand to help sikky. "Bhau.. Can't you lose.." Sikky says as he looks at Meera was furiously looking at him. "Rishabh Don't know how to lose.." Rk says and throws Sikky's sword toward Sikky. "Thank YOU!!" Sikky says angrily. "Rishabh, you always make me proud.." Radha says happily while Meera fums. "Taai, Now Rishabh turned 22 last week so.. It's time for Rishabh to Marry.." Meera tells them innocently. Radha smile drop hearing this and Rk angrily throws his Sword and walks away. "Meera.. How many times should I have to tell you not to talk about this infront of Rishabh." Radha says sadly. "Taai,.. You always think about Rishabh.. Did you forgot Sikky too have to Marry.. And after Rishabh Marriage we can get Sikky Married.. And now we are getting old don't you want to Play with Your grandchildrens??" Meera asks. Radha gently nods realizing Meera is true.

Two Months later,

"Aai!!!" Madhu shouts. "Madhu.. Today is your Marriage you can't see your Mother before marriage." Kalyani Madhu's Maid says. "Huh?" , "Yes, she is A widow.. If you saw her then it will be Apshagun..." Kalyani explains her. "What!!!" Madhu shouts. "She said if you love her then you will not see her.." Kalyani tells her. Madhu silently nods as she knows her Mother is too stubborn just like her. "We have to do Halad Ceremony.." Kalyani says and appiles turmeric paste on Madhu's face, hands and feet. "Come.. I will help you to get ready.." Kalyani says. "Yeh..yeh.." Madhu says disinterestly.

"Deva!! You are looking so beautiful.." Kalyani says admiring Madhu who was looking absolutely beautiful. Madhu looks disinterestly. "Aree, don't make faces.." Kalyani tries to cheer her up. "Madhu!! They came..." Another one maid of Madhu shouted excitedly. "Wow.. Wow.. Wow..." Madhu says in fake happiness. "Madhu!!" Kalyani and everyone laughs.

"Om.. Gandeshay.. Namhh!!!" Padits started wedding rituals, everyone stand near Mandap. Rk sat there disinterestly. "Ganpati Puja is completed.. Now you call bride." Padit says. Madhu slowly came accompanied with her maternal uncle toward Lagna (wedding) madap with her friends and maids behind. "You are not allowed to see bride) pandit tells him. Rk nods ' who the hell wanted to see her' he thought. Madhu sit next to Rk while still looking down. Pandit starts Mangalashtas (sanskrit and holy verses) " OM..Subhamangal.. Savadhan!!" All Pandit starts. Then Madhu and Rk were made to wear Mundavalya on their heads which is basically a string of flowers or pearls.

As Maariage Rituals continues, Rk and Madhu are not supposed to see each other till now, So before they see other one Ritual is performed in which silk shawl is placed between them to separate them. " Now Antarpat ritual starts... Bring silk cloth!!" Pandit asks. Rk and Madhu stand facing each other but silk cloth is blocking their View. As Silk cloth falls down Rk and Madhu look at each other after 8 years. Rk stopped breathing seeing a Beautiful women standing infront of him, Madhu too stand their looking at him. They continued to look each other. Rk stare at her hazal eyes making him fall in love with her EYES, There eyes meet telling their unspoken words which they can't tell. Guests shower them with Akshata (unbroken rice grains) and flowers on Rk and Madhu. "You can exchange garlands." Pandit tells them breaking their eye look. Soon they realize what they are doing forgetting what his or her father did with his or her father. They started glaring each other furiously.

"Now Kanyadan begins." , Madhu's eyes filled with tears hearing this. Madhu's uncle came and gives her hand in Rk's Hand. Rk and Madhu makes disgusting face as their hands touch. "Here, Tie this.." Pandit gives Mangalsutra to Rk. Rk takes and ties to around Madhu's neck. Then he applies sindoor in centre of her hair parting. Madhu slowely applies Sandalwood tikka on Rk's forehead. "Now, Satapadhi ritual, in this you have to take seven rounds in this holy fire.. And bride has to touch rice heaps with her right foot." Pandit explains them. Rk and Madhu takes round around sacred fire, reiterating seven seven holy vows of matrimony. "Now you have to take blessings of God for your Married life.."

Rk and Madhu walks toward temple and take prays for their so called Married life. Then they take blessings from their elders. Padmini came with teary eyes and hug her daughter. Madhu cries bitterly hugging her and then she hugs her brother, "Bhau!!", " Always be happily.." Yashwant says as he hugs her. Madhu looks toward her Family last time from her Doli. She wavs her hands toward them, whole Indore, Maheshwar, Gwalior and other cities were holkers rule came to bid adieu to there Princess and prays for her life.

Baroda,

Madhu slowly step out from her Doli while Kalyani came Running and help her. Rk furiously walk inside but ladies stoped him from his path, Madhu Stopped at Main entrance of Palace were so many ladies are present waiting for her, "You are very beautiful Vaini (Bhabhi)" someone says. "Bhau you are so lucky!!" Another tells. "Vaini!! I am Rishita.. Bhau's sister.." One says and hugs her. "Let me go inside.." Rk shouts furiously. "Wait!!!" , They placed a cup filled with Rice down, Madhu gently kicks it. Everyone cheers in joy except Rk and Madhu.

"Vaini.." Madhu looks at Rishita. Rishita takes Madhu with her "Vaini!!.. I know.. It is really hard for you to come here.. But please forgot about that... My Bhau is very nice.. He will treat you respectfully.. " Rishita tells her. Madhu just smiles she don't know what to say.

After All Rituals ends Madhu was taken to Room. Madhu sat on chair angrily as Kalyani Adjust her Gajra. "I think I should Change.." Madhu get up. "Huh??" Kalyani look at her Shockingly. "What??" , "Did you forget it is your first night?" Kalyani ask her. "Oh.. Chup.. Pagal kahiki..." , "What are you doing in my Room???" Rk shouts seeing Madhu. "I will leave now!!" Kalyani says and Run outside leaving Rk and Madhu all alone. "This is My Room.." Madhu replies angrily. "What.. I am not going to stay with you in this Room.." Rk furiously says. "Who wanted to stay with you.. Go!!" Madhu tells him in equal anger. "This is my Room!!" , "And mine too.. And i am not gonna leave this Room.." Madhu shouts. "No way.. ", " See I am tried.. I need to Change too.. Leave.." Madhu says pointing toward Door. "No!!" , Madhu Smirks "I Gonna change.." She says and slowly Removes her Silk soft shawl which was used to hide her Back. Rk looks at her, Madhu smiles and slowly throws her Gajra. "I am changing now!!" Madhu says and was about to unpin her Blouse but suddenly Rk shouts "No!!!" And walks outside in hurry. Madhu laughs.

Madhu settle on Bed happily after changing herself in her Simple Navari Saree. Suddenly She spot Rk's Portrait hanging on Wall, Madhu came closer to it and smirks seeing him. "Aww, poor You!!! I just entered today.. And snatched you Room.. Soon i will snatch your everything.. No.. No.. No... Not only everything but your life too... Poor you!!" Madhu says evily. Chuckling she again falls down and bed.
