PART - 8
Madhu again checked the locket but Abhay's pic was not there "Where is the picture gone?" she asked herself getting worried.
"Madhu...I am going outside...you need something then tell me" Trishna asked her while picking up the car keys...but Madhu didn't hear as she was busy lost in her thoughts.
"Madhu?" Trishna again called her...this time raising her voice a bit so that she could hear.
Madhu then came out of her trance.
"Y...Yes Didu"
"What happened...I am asking you something and you are busy lost in your thoughts...is everything fine?" Trishna asked getting a little worried.
"Umm...nothing didu everything is fine...tell me what happened. ..why were you calling me?" She tried to avoid the talk.
"Madhu I am going to the market...tell me if you need something." Trishna again asked her.
"No didu I don't want anything"
"Okay then I'll be back in an hour ok?" Trishna said while caressing Madhu's hair.
Madhu smiled and nodded.

She again tried to turn on the ignition but her car was not starting.
"Shit" Trishna banged on the steering.
She came out of the car and looked here and there if someone could help her...and soon she saw a guy standing few steps away from her.
"Excuse me"
The boy turned around and replied "Yes?"
"Actually my car broke down...could you please help in getting it to a mechanic? Trishna asked the guy very politely.
The guy scanned her figure from top to bottom and gave a lustful look and licked his lower lip. Trishna noticed this and took a step back.
"Of course madam...I am born to help the ladies like you" the man said coming closer. "Just shut up...and get lost" Trishna replied feeling disgusted. "Oho why are you getting angry madam ji...I am here na don't worry...i will help you" He was about to touch her shoulder when a tight punch came from his left side and in no time he was lying on the road groaning in pain.
"Haww" Trishna looked down at him...she couldn't understand how he suddenly ended up lying on the floor. She then again looked up at the person.
"You okay?" Rohan asked her.
Trishna was still looking at him trying to remember where she had seen him before.
"You?" Finally reviving her memory she asked Rohan...while he gave a smile in return..."Umm Thank you very much...really I...I...can't thank you enough" Trishna said.
"It's alright...umm...Miss.??.."
"Trishna...Trishna Malik"
"Trishnaaa...nice name" He said while again the saxophone started playing around his head seeing her.
"aaannn" The man held his jaw in pain and stood up and quickly left from there.
Rohan and Trishna giggled seeing him running like this.
"Come let me drop you" Rohan said to Trishna
"Umm no no it's fine...My house is just near by I'll manage"
"Trishna even I am going that way so i'll drop you...and I'll tell my driver to get your car repaired as well...okay?" Rohan said affirmative
Trishna Nodded in a yes.
Rohan gestured her towards his car "Come". While trishna started moving he pressed his hand and writhed in pain silently.

"Crap" RK said in anger as he desperately needed a coffee but unfortunately it was finished. "Now what shall i do?" he thought while tapping his fingers on the platform.
"Ting Tong" The door bell rang.
Madhu quickly opened the door. She looked at him and got confused that why is he here.
"You?" Madhu asked obviously being not much seeing him.
"Ummm...yes...coffee?" RK asked him courtly
Madhu clenched her teeth in anger as she misunderstood him "Oh...Listen to me very carefully Mr...Mr whatever you are?" She couldn't recollect his name "These tricks won't work on me do you get...I hugged you that night was my mistake but don't you dare think I'll come for a coffee with you"
"Whoa!! whoa!! whoa!!...just stop it...ok just stop it...I came here because I desperately need a coffee and I don't have it...so I Thought that I could get it from you...Now DO YOU GET IT? He raised his voice saying the last three words.
"Oh" She gulped "But what can I do in this...you look like a womanizer to me so I..." she was interrupted by RK
"So you thought that I am trying to flirt with you right...well you are right I am a womanizer"
She looked at him from top to bottom and made a weird expression
"But even I maintain standards sweet heart"
"What do you mean" she asked him
"You are not my type" RK said right on her face
"I don't even want to Okay...I am happy the way I am"
"Look let's just not fight...my head is really paining badly...first that con call and then that Pi..." He realised what he was about to say and stopped in the midway.
"What?" Madhu got confused
"P...Picture...movie...that Kaho na pyar hai...baseless movie...can you believe it...hero dies before the interval his lover his shattered and after the interval his lookalike enters into that girl's life...haha...it doesn't even happen in real...huh complete nonsense." He covered up his act by this story.
Madhu was now in tears...yes it was a movie but now it was the reality which she was living with...destiny played a cruel game with her life...even she had watched that movie many times but never thought that same could happen with her...RK looked at her and thought that something is wrong.."Heyy...are you ok?"
She wiped her tears without letting him know and said "Umm nothing...it's just I like the movie till the interval not after that...anyway you came for the coffee right...come I'll give it to you"
"Okayyy" he said but got a little confused seeing a sudden change in her behavior.

"May I do this...you will fall down" RK said while Madhu was standing on the platform as coffee was in the top section.
"You are forgetting this is my house...I have done this many times so don't worry" Madhu said confidently.
"As you wish...but be careful"
"Here...take it" She took out a packet of coffee and threw it towards RK
"Thanks for that...now please you come down carefully" RK said getting worried as the platform was a bit slippery
"Don't worry I'll be fine" Madhu said closing the cupboard
But may be this time may be luck was not on her side and she slipped
"Ouch" She said while her eyes were closed...but soon she realised that someone was holding her firmly...she slowly opened her eyes and found herself in RK's arms. That was a strange moment for both of them. For the first time she felt a sense of protection and comfort in someone's arms other than Abhay. On the other hand he was lost in her eyes...It's not that he had not seen beautiful eyes before but there was something strange, something different about her eyes which didn't let him take his eyes off of her.
"Madhu"
"RK"
Rohan and Trishna said in unison seeing them in this state.
I know this part didn't have much to show but the story is building up so please bear with it. Thank You!!
