Ever again.

Looking at the current scenario of Indian television, only RS n EK shows r ruling the tv world. Every single show is crap. 🤢 Not one jodi is worth a second thought. We can't even sit thro' a show for 2 min. We'll feel like breaking the TV. 😡 I don't know how they get the trps for such regressive sh*t.😲 I came across SSK while changing channel n nearly broke my remote. How can ppl tolerate such nonsense. Is there a shortage of creative writers in India? Looking at this forum, I don't think so. Then where is the problem. Why every show is a female centric show? When ppl can accept RK, Asad , Arnav n many more before them, then why can't they experiment different concepts. SSK, SNS, DABH,YRKKH...for how many years r they gonna run these shows? Why recycle the same old story again n again?

When ST can give a character like RK, why he failed in his nxt ventures. I have my doubts whether it was his brain child or he stole it from somebody. Gul gave two characters Asad n Arnav , after that her brains went on vacation. No comments on ekta.

I'm scared now. DD signed a show n it became a 'c' grade show. I'm sure she never signed for that sh*t they r showing now. What is going to be VD 's fate in RS show. Will these amazing actors ever get another role which will take them to new heights or r they going to fade away from this tv world. No person worth his salt will ever agree to act in the current shows unless they r hard pressed for money. We know DVD can never compromise on the role they were promised. So, what does the future hold for them...????😕

Firstly , I agree with your post . Secondly , I am feeling pity for you that you actually watched SSK while surfing the channel , eventhough if it was for 2 mins . Girl ! I am gonna give you Paramvir Chakra for your bravery LOL . Ok jokes apart I havent watched this Arnav , Asad show so I have no clue about it . But I watched MB till the unwedding track and it was something unique which wasn't experienced b4 on TV . 2-3 days back I was watching some thing on Z studio but during the break I was surfing the channel and I came acroos another Z brand called Z TV where there was a scene going in which the actress (I suppose) creates a Pillow wall on bed and on one side she sleeps and on the other side (I guess) was the male actor was sleeping facing each other , sharing an eye-lock ... I mean just look at this that we shouldn't be fighting only for plagiarism on forum for stories but also for full on plagiarism happening in terms of scene on TV . I guess only "Hum hai deewane" and "Ishq tu he" is left to be recycled or plagiarised else evey other thing has been used ..

IDK after the unwedding track in MB why did show the took a U-turn from its concept and showed all shit it can show . See the main thing about Indian shows is Money and TV shows are a business for channel and PH bcz at the end of the day all they care about is TRP=MONEY . Even if the actor don't want to do a particular scene or a track they don't have much to say in that bcz all decisions are taken by PH and channel and so even if actor tells that "I am not liking this regressive track or I am not feeling comfortable with this track" then the PH either replaces them or take them to television boards for not doing the scene or something like that and at the end of the day the actors have to agree with that shit scene . Same was the case with DVD during their last days of MB . I suppose there was some rape scene in MB bcz I saw so many posts on the forum that time ... Well I don't think so that DVD were happy with portraying that rape scene but then they had to perform it . And its not about being proffesional . We know DVD are true professional and they can perform any given scene but at the end of the day they are actors and humans so even if they dont like a particular scene they dont have much to do bcz PH or channel will not listen to them . So the conclusion is that nothing is in the hand of actors .

I don't know where our country is going in terms of show . A country progresses forward with TV but it doesn't seems with my country bcz TV shows are showing all backward regressive things . Nowadays our country has gone to witchcrafts , ghosts , snake charmers and ITS REALLY HARD FOR ME TO BELIEVE that such shows have hight TRPs and ppl actually watches such shit ... Why can't indian shows have a GOOD STORY and if they dont have any story then why do they need to make a show ???? And plus this concept of stretching each and every track till eternity making the show cross 2000+ episodes is beyond my understanding ... Indian shows NOW should be episodic . More and more shows like 24 , Everest , tammana(I haven't watched these shows but just knew the name) are needed which gets over in 50-100 episodes . Bcz episodic shows never looses story+ creatvity is there+ it doesnt gets boring bcz you have to end that show in few episodes so it never looses its charm ..

Nowadays only 3 things work on Indian TV 1) The couple have a forced marriage leading to love-hate relation but finally after 3-4 months the couple falls in love . 2) There is always vamp and villain creating havoc in the life of couple and their families either bcz of property or for love making it a love triangle or maybe to avenge the death of their spouse 3) And if after all this show runs high on TRP then add a supernatural track and all illogical tracks . And in all this its always the heroine who will keep on crying and crying for every small issue and she will be the only one solving all puzzels and family problems like Sherlock Holmes . In all this actor is just standing like Christ the Redeemer or like statue of liberty only to add romance and nothing else .

@ Silverfire - bang on post... Agree with u... I guess those r once in life time shows... & those couples r like nagic... I dont think that magic will be ever created!

I stopped watching serials since the day MIEIJ got over... & i never turn to colors channel even by mistake so i m pretty blessed as i didnt even see SSK serial for minutes... Lol ... Poor u... Be careful from next time to u turn the channels... Lol

@ RagingBlaze - Ishu, girl... U wrote a thesis! Lol...

Believe me, I'm still kicking myself for pausing there for a few seconds. Oh God! Ppl really must be given Paramveer Chakra for watching that shit. Yup, I know that show ur talking about. All r cut copy n paste. No originality at all. If it works in one show then use the same scene in the nxt show. Every show has its own BG so hopefully HHD will remain intact.

Exactly my point. If DVD had known the story before signing , they would have stayed away after the show took a leap. The channel locks them up in the name of contract. This is the only way they can make them act in the show.

Regarding MB, it looks like there were two writers before the leap. First one wrote the story up to the unwedding t n the second one till the leap. Afterwards it was a total mess. ST totally lost his marbles half way thro' the show.

Very true. A show starts with a one year contract n they have a story for the first year. Wish every show is taken off air after the contract comes to an end instead of stretching it for ages. This way we can have many seasons depending on the response from the public. They can even pull it off air if they r not getting the ratings before the contract period.

Supernatural is the in thing. The heroes r all glorified idiots n the heroines r sherlock Holmes, Mother Teresa, savitri all rolled into one . Ekta in one of her IVs said there r only 7 stories to recycle in Indian tv. But it looks like there r only 3. ...lol. It's really sad.
