With dailies like Swaragini, Sasural Simar Ka, Saathiya, Santoshi Maa running successfully, expectations are rising high over her upcoming venture on Colors.
Tentatively titled as Shakti, the story will narrate the tale of two sisters, who will fall in love with the same man.
Earlier we reported about Vivian Dsena making his comeback on television with the same project. Media reports suggested that Rubina Dilaik will be paired opposite Vivian, while Krystle Dsouza was approached to essay Rubina's sister.
Now, we have an exclusive piece of information for our readers.
While Krystle refused to play the role of Rubina's younger sister, Badtameez Dil famed actress Roshni Sahota has now been roped in to play the same role.
According to sources, "After Krystle's refusal, the makers wanted to cast a comparatively fresh face for the role and finally Roshni bagged the meaty role".
When we contacted Roshni, the young lady confirmed the development, but asked us to call later for further information.
We have dropped a message to producer Rashmi Sharma as well, but not have received any revert till the time of filing the article.
The channels spokesperson also remained unavailable to comment.
