"RK... where are you?" Madhu asked him.
"I'm reaching your Papa's office. I will call yo back when or meeting was over."
"Rk..."
"Yeah, tell me"
"Be polite & respectful, okay? He is my Papa"
"Can't promise anything, Madhu... my behavior depends on how your father treats me."
"Rk, please. Our fathers are friends even before we were born and we fell in love... their friendship should not get ruined because of us."
"Okay!" Rk sighs & hangs up the phone.
"Hi, Uncle, Good morning" Rk greeted Shamsher Malik, Madhu's father when he entered into his office.
"Morning, Rishab" Malik nodded his head & gestured him to sit.
"No, it's fine. I will stand." Rk said & turned to look at his dad, Mohan Kundra standing beside Malik. Mohan works for Malik but Malik treats him like a friend than an employee.
"Rk, open that back" Malik said to Rk & pointed to a bag placed on his desk.
"Okay" Rk looked at his dad, he just gave him a shrug. Rk opened the back & found currency notes.
"Take that money & leave my daughter" Malik said to Rk & leaned back on his chair. Rk took a bundle of note & looked at it.
"So much money hun?" Rk smirked & took a currency note & put the rest of the bundle of notes back & started rolling the single currency note in his hand to a pipe.
Malik & Mohan looked at Rk curiously. Rk placed the rolled currency note in his mouth like a cigarette & lit it with his lighter.
"Rishu..." Mohan shouted.
"What dad? Madhu made me promise that I shouldn't smoke ever again but now I badly need to puff a cigarette so used this currency note."
"Rishu, just forget Madhu. We won't match to Malik Sir's status. You are like an Icarus flying too close to the sun. you will get hurt!" Mohan warned his son.
"I love Madhu. She is mine. I don't give a f**k about the status, money, society or anything else." Rk said sternly to his dad but it was a message conveyed to Malik.
"Dad, pay him the money I smoked!" Rk ordered his dad & giving a final look to Mlik, he walked out of his cabin.
"Rishab! Wait!" Mohan came running behind his son.
"Where are you going?" He asked Rk.
"College"
"We are still in the discussion. Come in."
"I'm done here. I am going."
"No, we are not. It's not the way to behave with your boss."
"He is not my boss. You work for him so he is your boss."
"Whatever! You should give respect to him. The food you eat, the cloth you wear, your education.. everything is given by him."
"Dad, I am grateful to him & I respect him because he is just like you to me... he is my Madhu's father so I respect him but no one can by my love for my Madhu." Saying that Rk stormed off.
Mohan turned to find Malik standing outside his cabin door & watching them. He had a smile playing on his face.
"He has attitude hun?" Malik asked Mohan.
"Malik, I am sorry... he is a small immature boy. You don't worry I'll make him understand."
"No need! I have decided what to do next."
"Malik, please don't do anything to my son" Mohan pleaded him as he feared for his son's life. Malik was one powerful man & he can easily f**k Rk's future. Malik smirked at Mohan & called him back to his cabin.

Rk was waiting for Madhu in their usual isolated spot in their college.
Rk paced restlessly to see Madhu but she took her time to come there. Rk sat on his back & took a cigarette from the box & placed it in between his lips.
"Rk! You are smoking again?" Madhu accused him as she stood little away from him, glaring at him. Rk turned to her side & smirked at her still he didn't bother to throw his cigarette.
"Rk, You broke the promise. You are bad." she starting hitting him on his chest with her hands.
"I didn't" he said as he held her hands firmly.
"Liar"
"I said I won't smoke. See, I am not smoking. I just had it in my mouth."
"Why?"
"For style. I look hot with a cigarette in my mouth."
"Who said that?" "Haven't you seen how many girls ogle at me in our college when I stand like this?" He asked & put his coolers, then placed his unlit cigarette back in his mouth & folding his arms over his chest, he turned his head to the side & tilted it up a bit. Of course he looked dashing when he stood like an Hollywood model.
"God! You look so sexy"
"I told you right?"
"That's why I am asking you not to do this. I don't like other girls eye f**king you." Madhu said petulantly. Rk chuckled.
"If you keep this cigarette like this then at one point you will get tempted to lit it."
"I won't"
"You will" Madhu said & started digging in his pants pockets.
"Hey! What are you doing?"
then she searched his shirt pocket & found the lighter.
"Why you have this if you dont have any intention of smoking."
"That's for safety purpose"
"What safety?"
"You are scared of dark right? So I will use this lighter when needed."
"Then it should be with me. Not with you. Give me" She said & snatched the lighter from him & put it in her handbag & then she pulled the cigarette out from his mouth & threw it away.
"You waste one cigarette" Rk said faking upset.
"Rk, shall we talk something serious?"
"My life is not serious to you?"
"It it! That's why I threw it away. Okay now tell me how was the meeting with my Papa?"
"It was fun" Rk winked at her.
"Papa, accepted for our relationship?"
"Yeah! He said you made the right choice. Even if he had found a guy for you then he won't be a gem like me."
"So he approved my selection?"
"Of course, Darling" Rk said & hugged Madhu tightly.
"I love you, Rk"
"I love you more."

"Papa, you called me?" Madhu asked entering into her father's study.
"Yes, Madhu. Come sit here with me." Malik said patting the side of his bed.
"You love Rishab so much right?"
"Yes, Papa"
"You will be happy with him?"
"Only he can make me happy, Papa"
"He has temper issues." Malik stated out the obvious.
"Yeah! I know. I will tame him." Madhu said confidently.
"He has high attitude, Madhu"
"But right attitude, Papa"
"He... He..." Malik tried to say something negative about Rk.
"Dont try hard, Papa... You can't find too many faults in him... If you find faults also I am not flawless..."
"Madhu..."
"He is simply adorable, Papa." Madhu said shyly. Malik sighed.
"Do you thing he will hurt you ever?"
"No, Papa. That will never happen. If I hurt him also he will let me hurt him but he will never reciprocate it."
"You sure?"
"Yes! But why you are asking me these many questions when you have already approved my Rishu?"
Malik frowned at Madhu.
"I didn't!" he said honestly. "Not yet, at least. But now I really approve him to be the best man for my princess."
"Oh! But he said you liked him, you said I made the best choice?"
"You indeed made the best choice." Malik said caressing Madhu's hair.
"I actually gave him a test. I gave him lump sum of money & asked him to forget you..."
"You did that?" Madhu asked him shocked.
"Yes."
"What he told?"
"He smoked in front of me"
"What the f.." Madhu bit her tongue when her Papa raised his brow.
"Sorry, Papa. That's a bad word, Madhu. It's so unladylike to use such word." Malik chided Madhu.
"It's all because of Rk, Papa. He often use that word & I kinda got it."
"So he smoked?" Madhu asked as anger flared.
Malik chuckle & nodded his head.
"I'm gonna kill him."
"He said you don't like him smoking"
"That's true like how I don't like you drinking."
"I quit drinking for you" Malik raised his hands up in defense.
"I know. Even Rishu promised me but..."
"He too quit smoking... for you"
"Really? But you said..."
"He took a currency note, rolled it, placed it on his mouth & lit it as if it was a cigar"
"Idiot Rk!" Madhu giggled. "But I still dont understand why he lied to me that you liked him."
"May be he was too confindent that he will make me like him one day or he doesnt want to hurt you by saying that our meeting didn't go well... Or he doesn't want you to think bad about me that I tried to bribe him... Madhu, you know why I did that right?"
"I know Papa... You want to protect me & make sure he is perfect for me... But that's little too much papa... You shouldnt have insulted his love by paying him money..." Madhu said feeling hurt for her Rishu.
"I am sorry, Madhu... I shouldn't have done that ... But I didn't know anything way to test him..."
"You should have just believed my words Papa... When I say I trust I expext you to trust him & his love..."
"I am sorry, baby girl" Malik held his ears & apologized to her.
"It's okay."
"I love you so much, Madhu. I just hope & pray you two stay happy forever."
"I love you too, Papa and you don't worry, Rk & I will be happy as long as we stay together." Madhu promised & hugged her father.

"You know what Rk? Dipali told me that Sultan got transfer from our college & went abroad to pursue his further studies there."
"Looser! He couldn't see you close with me so he left the college. Good for him. If he had stayed here & set his eyes on you one more time then I surely would have killed him."
"Uffo, Rk... he was a nice guy. He just got it wrong. He thought I was not committed but when he realized we are together, see like a gentleman he left from here without creating any trouble to us." Rk shook his head, as his gut instinct said this was not the end. He knew many more worms to crawl out from the woods.
"What?" Madhu asked turning his face towards her.
"Madhu, this is going to be your biggest weakness. You believe in what you see but you are not realizing that whatever you see are not true. This is a fake world & the people here are fake."
"Everyone?"
"No! Not all but majority."
"Do you come in the majority?" Madhu asked Rk teasingly.
"Of course, Baby" Rk smirked evilly. Madhu laughed & hugged him.
"I love you, Mr. Fake Kundra"
"I love you, Mrs. Fake Kundra"
"I hate you Rk, go away from me" Madhu suddenly pushed him away.
"One minute love & one minute hate, Whoa! So you are fake & your love is fake."
"Then what? Who asked you to postpone our wedding?"
"Then what else I will do? I am just 21 years old & I have a life to enjoy, woman, before being handcuffed to you" Rk said sadly.
"Be serious Rk! why you said like that last night in our engagement?" Madhu asked him sadly as she toyed with Rk's gold band ring which she had slipped in his finger last night. A similar ring was sitting in her ring finger. An acknowledgment that they were officially engaged.
"I love our "Valentine's day special engagement rings more than our official engagement rings"
"Me too" Rk smiled & kissed her temple.
"Dont be upset... Just two years, Madhu"
"TWO years, Rk... I was dying to start a new life with you... but you postponed our wedding for two long years. Even Radha aunty was so pissed at you for taking that stupid decision. She wanted me to enter your house soon"
"Madhu, look at me & say that again" Rk asked. Madhu looked down embarrassed.
"You wanna stay in my house? Seriously? In this 21 years of your life, you have spent most of the time in my house. Only when the bed time comes you go to your house to sleep... if I could remember well, till you attend puberty you stayed in my house at night times too."
"That's different. Now I will enter your house as your wife"
"Madhu, we are still young. Marriage can wait. Lets love each other for some more time" he tried different ways to convince her.
"See, too much of love will make our pure love poisonous" Madhu cribbed. Rk sighed.
"Why we should wait when we have everything, Rk?"
"You have everything, Madhu"
"Rk... whatever I have is yours"
"Only you are mine, Madhu. I have right only on you... not on your properties"
"Rk..."
"I can't do that, Madhu. I can't sit & work in your father's office. Your dad is so generous to make me the next CEO of your company but I really don't want to trade in your father's name. I want to make a name of my own. For that I need some time." Rk said running his fingers through his messy hair. Madhu looked at him with pride twinkling in her eyes. "Madhu, you trust me, right?"
"I do" she vowed.
"Then please give me two years time. My parents have saved a good amount for me in FD... I have approached few banks for loan amount & I am sure I will get it... with these money I will start a business... I have confidence in me, madhu... that I will give you a better life... a life... a comfortable life you lead till date... I won't make you regret marrying me, Madhu"
"I won't regret anything, Rishu. I don't want all these over the top luxurious life.. I just want a life with you... I want you... I love you."
"I love you, baby... but I still want to do this for ...you." Rk said & took her hand & placed a kiss on top of her engagement ring.

I know this update's short... I deliberately split one long update to two... Lol!
Two reasons... One, i want to make the next update 'exclusive' & two, i couldn't complete the update fully as it was going too long & I felt too lazy to type the rest now... Lol!
