Madhu is dressed in her bridal costume.She looks absolutely beautiful as a bride in her red bridal outfit.But the bridal happiness and excitement are missing from her face.Her eyes are not filled with joy or shyness.Her eyes are welled up with tears.
"Madhu!You look so upset".Her mother Padmini says.
MADHU:How can i smile mom after what you did to me?
Padmini's tears flow down.Sultan enters the room.
Sultan:Madhu...why are you talking like this to your mom?She gave birth to you.She nurtured you.You did'nt know the hardships of life because of your mom.
MADHU:I don't know the hardships of life?You both have not suffered like me.And what about the mental trauma i undergo now?It's only because you both.Sultan..being my best friend instead of being truthful to me,you cheated me.You both lied to me that the truth has been told to Rishab Kundra.But thankfully atleast now mom confessed that Rishab does'nt know anything.The truth is hidden from RK.How can i marry him happily?
Sultan:We can understand your feelings.We lied to you only to make you happy.You remember your first meeting with RK?
Madhu remembers that sweet moment.She met RK first during the holi party filled up with colours.While dancing Rishab Kundra and Madhubala Malik bumped into each other.
Just a glance.That was more than enough for Madhu to fall in love with Rishab.It was love at first sight.But due to a bitter personal experience she suppressed her feelings.It was a pleasant surprise for her when she realized that RK also feels the same for her.She realized it when RK's parents Amit Kundra and Radha Kundra came to her house with a proposal.
Sultan:You were so happy when RK's parents came with a proposal.How can we break your happiness by revealing the truth to them?
Madhu:But this is cheating.I will tell everything to RK now.
Sultan:It's not cheating Madhu.You are innocent.You have not done anything wrong.
Padmini is in tears:Please don't tell RK anything.We will get embarrassed before everyone.In this age i don't want to see our family name getting ruined.Your father's heart will break in the heaven.After my death,how will you live Madhu?I can die peacefully only if you get married to a nice guy.Promise me that you won't talk to RK about your past.
Madhu's tears flow down.
Madhu enters the mandap with a gloomy face.RK's chocolate eyeballs roll over her.His smile seeing Madhu is cute like a blossomed flower.His eyes and smile are filled with his love for Madhu.RK and Madhu enter into the bond of marriage.But Madhu is upset.
While walking around the fire,Madhu's heart pains.
She thinks:This fire is witnessing us promising each other that we will stand by each other for seven janmas.But the truth is that even if i stand by my husband during his difficult times i will always be tagged as an unfaithful wife.What a fate!
Madhu enters the room which is decorated with rose petals.RK's entry makes her nervous.
She thinks:He is the only man i have ever loved in my life.I'm supposed to be happy now.But i'm not able to smile.
RK smiles at her.She smiles back.
She thinks:He deserves my smile.But do i deserve atleast his smile?
RK:You look gorgeous in your red bridal outfit.You are beautiful like a princess.
She blushes forgetting everything for a moment.RK keeps his arm on her's.Unexpectedly Madhu faints.RK is shocked.
RK:Madhu!
He sprinkles water on her face.She opens her eyes slowly.
RK is relieved:Are you okay?
MADHU:Yes..
RK:What happened?
MADHU:Stress...i'm really tired of the wedding rituals.Lots of functions...busy schedule.
RK:I got worried.Madhu..you need to take rest.A complete rest.Sleep well.
MADHU:Thank you RK.Good night.
RK:Good night.
Madhu says in her mind:I'm sorry RK.I had to pretend to faint.I cannot become your wife physically now.It's betrayal.
They both close their eyes in the bed.
