I don't know how many of you all are excited for this new show, but I definitely am! I know many are sad that DVD won't be coming back together as of now, i am too because hey! They were Fantastic!! They had their own feel, their own 'Junoon and Ishq' which no one else can really match, because they were different!
But we should all give Sid and Drashti a chance too...they might also create sizzling chemistry. Every couple as their own feel..
So what do you have to say about the first look people?? Any thoughts on what the story could be about?? Now analysing is a job which i do every second day for media therefore when i saw the promo i just couldn't stop myself from sharing my predictions..
So here they go - with reasons:
- The first thought that mine went to, that this story is set back in time, which is mainly because of the cars and the way they are dressed and it is highly possible that it is set back; However having a re-think, then it could be a modern tale as well. I am saying this because of the film Khoobsurat. In that film, it had a similar setting and Fawad had a similar dress style to Sid here, and also the short beard😆. And Khoobsurat was a modern day tale.
- Now on the characters. Sid's character seems to be prideful. He takes pride on who he is. This can be seen from his posture, standing tall, head held high. This character also cares about his image. When Drashti feel, he immediately came out however when she extended her hand for help, he just turned her away which i believe is due to the drivers and other staff being there. He doesn't want to show them that he cares for an ordinary girl.
- Drashti's character seems to be a naughty one; a playful, full of life and cheerful one. She seems to enjoy her life, which i am taking from the roses and flowers in her bike basket. Colourful flowers connote happiness, which i am linking back to her character. Furthermore that naughty disappointed expression she gives when sid doesn't help her up. One can tell that she is childish, plus the two plaits tell us a lot.😆 She looks adorable though.
- Now onto the story: Well it's way too soon to predict on that and this 40 second promo is not enough, but from it i am guessing that Drashti is a worker at his palace. They might have grown up together, they know each other, that's because when she falls Sid rushing comes out of his car, because he cared. Also when she was peddling past him, his eyes were only on her, following her until she fell. Drashti also extended her hand because she considers him as her friend maybe, but when he doesn't help her, she gives us that disappointing expression, because she knows he won't budge for caring about his image.
- Furthermore the Music composure tells us that this is a cheerful and bright story, due to the non-digetic sound being very light hearted.
So guys what do you think?? These are just my thoughts on the promo so if any of you don't like something or see something in a different light then please do state. It would be fun reading different perspectives predictions. Have fun guys...😊😛
