I could lecture him but my dad is a simple man. He will listen despite being bored of my talking and then finally he will say, 'forget it, I don't want to watch."

That will make me feel guilty. Again.

By the way, dad is a fan of BV. See why I am on my computer so much! But he has not seen the show for a few months as we were away and lost the storyline. A blessing.

Yeah, that is always the problem. The guilt. You wouldn't think of my comments, but even I feel guilty if my dad or mum, but not as much for my mum, misses something they want to watch. My mum watch all kind of crap. Turkish, spanish talking, BV, LTL, SSK. 🤢 Thank God she has narrowed it down now to only BV. 🤢 Just tell your dad he hasn't missed much. My mum watches BV also. Sanchi got raped, married the rapist brother, the rapist parents tried to kick her out from her husband's life and failed, the rapist parents realized that Sanchi was right and that the rapist (their son) manipulated them. Amol got kidnapped and returned. Mannu had cancer and survived. Bhairon and Sumitra went to US (they aren't in the show anymore). Basant got killed (aren't in the show anymore), saved Dadisa from a caraccident. And the recent happenings Gauri returned. I know this things and I don't even like the show. 🤢 My dad and I are not fans of that show. Do what I do, read those written updates and tell what has happened. 😆 My mum never believes me when I tell what will happen, and still watches it.🤢 Perhaps she thinks or hoping that I am lying. 😆 But must clarify, the show is going on a balkan channel, and they are, I think 5 months behind compared with the storyline shown in India. Imagine my mum face when I told her Anandi is marrying Shiv. 😆 In the storyline that was shown then, they had just met. Remember 5 months differences. 😆 Sorry for the long comment again.Embarrassed

I am not alone in this! I just do not have the stomach to sit there and watch that new show. I feel like I am betraying someone.

Just from the commercials I could tell what was happening on BV. And let's face it, there were ALOT of commercials for every show except Madhubala!

Five months behind? so your mom probably does not know that there is a new Anandi?

when dad would watch BV, or his other boring shows, I grab my laptop. It is the best alternate otherwise I make nasty comments!!! 😆

Yes she, does. Unfortunately. 🤢 I think I saw her watching a Holi episode today.
Ha. We are alike. 😆 I would usually go to my room and watch MB on my laptop. But as always, as soon as I sit she calls me. Not ever giving me the chance to watch one entire MB episode without any interruptions. Which is why I have NEVER seen one episode without being interrupted. Normally during one episode I will get called, usually by my mum, at least 6-8 times. And the episode has, what 20 minutes? Clicking the paus, play, paus, play button all the time. So luckily there are written updates. I usually read them and then watch the video, cause at least I will remember what is to come and what I've watched. That's how I know about BV, I read the written updates and tell her. 😆 And that's the main reason I have most episodes downloaded. Now when there isn't any MB, I don't get called as often. Only 5 to7 times. 😆 The funny part is, none of my parents knew I was watching MB. They don't even know the show exist. If it was aired on the channel we prescribed from Balkan, then they would know. And if I tell them I was watching something, they would tell me, don't waste your time watching something. What you have seen, you have seen. Who has time to watch? (Those last two lines are from my dad, not that fond of TV, or matter in fact serials 😆 He thinks watching TV-shows are waste of time.)

My dad is complete opposite. He likes serials better than movies. He hardly ever watches hindi movies now. It took me almost 6 months to finally watch Chennai Express and I have yet to watch Don 2.

I tried to get my dad to watch Madhubala and sometimes he seemed interested but then ... change channel. Thank God I have a recorder!

In fact he never he liked Geet. But my mom loved it so we watched that together and dad could say nothing!!! 😊

Yeah. Thank God. I don't know what I would have done if my mum did that to me. I would probably disturb her during the time she watch BV as payback. I'm a little evil.😆 No, but I would try to watch it online.
Ha, my dad don't even watch Movies. It's a waste of time according to him. Well it depends on the movie. If it's some comedian before 2000, he would usual watch at least some parts of the movie. And if he knws who the lead actor is, and he knows he is funny. Well he will at least watch some minutes. Forget the movietheatre. When I was small and a new Disney movie, think it was Tarzan, came out, my parents took me and my brother out. My dad fell asleep during first 10 minutes of the movie. 😆 We never went out again. My dad never wanted to.
So when a new movie comes out, I usually watch it online, even if it came out in the theaters yesterday. If it's interesting enough that say.
