My Dad said what??? :(

Good grief! I leave my father alone for one evening and all hell breaks loose.

So I come home and dad has been watching TV. Colors. (Yes I am planning on cancelling the channel but I might as well wait for the month end)

Anyways, dad tells me:

dad: oh I saw a commercial for a new show. It is starting tomorrow, maybe we should try watching it.

said commercial comes on (big surprise, darn commercial gets repeated 10 times in 10 minutes).

The show: Udaan.

Me: WHAT!!!! Dad, u don't mean this one?

Dad: yeah it looks interesting.

Me: Still in shock. (think girl think). Dad this show will never last. It's depressing and will be cancelled in 3 months.

End of convo.

Did I just lie to my dear father? 😒

But what else could I do? I cannot watch this show. Yes technically they had nothing to do with Madhubala being cancelled but I swore I would never watch the show anyways.

And the storyline looks depressing - despite the cute kids.

What am I going to do??? 💔

i ll say u did a good job by not leting ur dad to watch the show udaan becos one day he will also get irritated with this biased rangeela chnnel!! u did really good thing for ur dad!! even my mom asked to keep jhalak but i dint allow her to turn the channel to colors!! all fake people not recognising & rewarding the rel talent but making money out of their populality!!
