Rk's confession could have come much later if the CV's had gone for heroine track after unwedding...maybe RM could have got married by Oct or Dec and by June the show could have got wrapped up with RM and with good TRP's...but color and CV's 🥱...

Chakku why do u think these colors show went for confession and consummation? unko shauk nahi tha 😆 they did it as a last resort to increase their trp...they were not getting TRPs either ways (wo alag baat hai even their SR n all dont work anymore) but u will have to agree the confession worked for MB and raised the trp

and heroine track was never on their cards...they had scrapped that track long time back as per RS...it was only due to fans pressure they touched this track (which was a disaster as expected 😆)...i feel even the bhai track was better than the so called heroine track 😆

QH2 is not only about the interaction of the leads and less family drama, it is about a tangible interesting story peppered with the correct mix of emotions and romance.

The audience should feel an emotional connection to the characters on screen, be able to feel their pain and happiness. This is what Gul Khan has managed with QH2 and Colors is unable to do even if its shows it leads for entire 30 mins.

And QH2 is particularly mentionable as QH2 and MB had almost the same twist. The game changer was the way in which Gul and Zee developed the story and NF and Colors destroyed it.

Online fans were screaming that they did not want RK's downfall. They trended also. In fact ST had to go on record saying that RK's downfall will not take place.

Conservative TRP audience never ever appreciates a husband's destruction due to his wife or a wife being the cause of her husband's humiliation. 20 year history of Indian soaps proves that. Plus everyone knows small town and village mentality.

In fact as per me the reasons for going in for the heroine track are one of the greatest mysteries possible.

i used to talk to RS that time on FB and he himself had told me heroine track had been scrapped (during unwedding times he told me)...but he also said later they will try to keep up what they had promised initially...why do u think heroine track wrapped up so soon?...bcoz it was never on their cards and shown only to prove that they deliver what they promise

ST had completely lost interest from MB and all this heroine track disaster was done by Hegde

Heroine track was wrapped because it was a complete wash out inspite of every attempt to glorify it. Also, the reason of introduction of Ria was RK's destruction and complete defeat in front of Madhu. But ultimately TRP and advertiser pressure won.

In my opinion it was never a matter of delivering what they promised. I dont think these hard core business men believe in such ethics.

If one looks closely, even the Sultan track was targeted at de-glorification of RK and making him lose his sheen and fan base.

In fact these repeated attempts were the root cause of destruction of MB.

That Sathiya show is complete SBS show but some ladies find that entertaining. They don't beat up women or manhandle them in that show, do they? (I haven't watched it ever so please tell me if they do that). In SC, the couple has moved in Mumbai. No SBS nonsense. EHT is amazing new genre show. Mahabharat is again different and caters to completely different audience. DABh might be a SBS show but currently the MOST PROGRESSIVE show on TV with ghar ki bahu becoming an officer and not becoming a doormat biwi😆 YRKKH is a feel good show with romance + family drama and marriages. I don't see any regression in that show. PKDHMMPP at 10 pm is again a family drama + love story I guess. Veera is a very cute show with two couples. No dehati regressive stuff there. And YHM is again the most amazing show these days.

Now compare these shows with the dehati boring shows of colors and say that TRP aunties suck😕 Yup once in a while they might not watch good shows, but that doesn't happen always. They didn't watch MB during MaMu crap phase and infact forum members were also hating it, but when RM forcefully got married, MB became chart topper. Because the show was good.

I fully agree with Chakku..SP shows are the best n if its the no. 1 , it deserves to be there..except Sathiya and YR, which r long running shows, all its shows are different, progressive and entertaining...i don't like SC and PKDH so i never watch it..but IPK2 and YHM r the most amazing shows today...they have the right blend of everything, and i don't watch them for love stories (i am a sucker for love stories..) ..they r so gripping & everything just falls in place..I'm liking Veera also, although it's boring at times and too much of Veera the superwoman kind of scenes..that's the diff in dehati shows of colors and dehati show of SP...Veera is a dehati show, yet, they hardly show anything negative there...the human spirit wins always..it doesnt have any negative or gray characters, if there are, the good ones overshadow them..Overall, the content of SP shows is the best..the idea to experiment with thriller shows like Ek hasina thi and Laut aao Trisha was also successful...bec ppl also love to watch an urban set up..good costumes, elaborate sets etc..

I was also wondering why aren't RR and BI doing okay, i had a chat with my friends also...RR is dehati and ST lost his credibility ..RR has nothing new to offer, the lead couple is boring...BI is not dehati, yet its not working..why? the competition with other shows , of course...SP has better content and DAB and YR are the slot leaders..apart frm tht, in order to get TRPs, they quickly moved the tracks and both the shows have finished off the shadi, love story , consummation etc. now they have nothing to show except family drama...now if they show separation or third angles, viewership will slip further...

another point , why Ekta shows also work is that she changed her format, for good...pehle her shows were also regressive and stupid drama and twists...now the leaps r done with..now, therez so much positivity , the content is good, relationships are shown in such a good , meaningful and realistic way..instead of joint families, she focusses more on the couples , and each of her serial has a child centric story too, and they r adorable..the heroine is still, the ever sacrificing, miss goody two shoes, BUT , now, she shows that her goodness yields favorable results..the circumstances turn in her favor ...unlike ksbkbt and kggk , where heroines suffered endlessly and made their families suffer too..+

PS BV etc . are not regressive , but they r too old n they r just repeating the tracks..only a few episodes r okay..same with Uttaran , SSK , they must end these shows..i have seen a little bit of meri ashiqui, since its an ekta show, may be it does well, but i didnt like the cast there..

why only the heroine track? ANY track wud have worked if it was written and executed properly...the best time to introduce the heroine track was post unwedding..but they never did it..
