Madhubala-2: This week, a prelude

Hi friends,

This whole week's episode has taken the story a little forward. Now the story is moving but the tempo is quite slow. After all this is a daily soap, we cannot expect anything more faster than this.

Any ways i am also happy that the show is safe and we still have a good chance of saving our favorite show, enjoy and cherish it. I know there are so many (die-hard) fans of DVD and MB in this forum (including me). This show has become many people's addiction that whatever happens we tend to sit before the TV at 8.30 p.m. Long live the show.

This week's episodes have started giving some the issues to be solved:

• The "nafrat" of madhu on raja to turn into love
• Raja's love for his madhu: How is he going to madhu forgive him and win her love
• Agni's double game (may it will turn out to be multiple game also)
• Change over of Dauji's mind set
• Bhanu's revenge over the family for whatever has happened to him
• Falkuni bhabi's plight (may be she will be the cupid between rajbala)
• Truth revelation of Madhu and raja.

To my senses these are the questions still to be answered and it cannot end with so many open ends.

Now the story is taking an interesting turn and i am enjoying watching this stand. The characters are right according to them. At that situation how a character would react is what is shown to us, so i feel it would be better we take the things the way it is; otherwise it will be difficult to digest and finally result in emotional outburst.

JM's Stand: She is still not out of the situation what has happened to her. It is natural. Though she listened to raja for her dida's words, it is hard for her, because while apologizing raja reminds her of the incident which has hurt her soul. As a person with humanity, she has saved him but not out of love for her husband. Though she tried to reflect on her dida's words to try and change raja into a good person, whenever he comes in front of her she is only reminded of that dark night and incident which will naturally make a "woman" react in a way she is doing. In fact on 5th july episode, she clearly showed her reasons why she is not able to accept the relation. She says that she was never able to accept raja, then how can he accept the child. So JM is still stagnant in her position.

Raja's Stand: He is finally trying to see what is happening around him. He smartly revealed the real face of Bhanu. But i feel sorry for him that he is still not able to see Agni's face. He still thinks that the fight between agni and himself is just a sibling fight, but is not able to see the intention behind the fight. Once Bhanu is revealed to dauji and truth of baiji's death is out, he just feels all the problems are over and now his present and only agenda is get forgiveness from madhu and win her love. He is remorseful for what he did, seeking pardon, ready for punishment etc. But he does not know the way. Very desperate to make madhu understand his love, but stagnant there with out knowing to proceed further.

Agni's Stand: Agni's character is slowly coming to light and has become the catalyst of the show, i would say. How fast does she get ideas, make plans and make moves so swiftly. Nice, that her character is developing as vamp. Her greedy nature for money and power is the base of this character. She was clever in taunting bhanu before he takes her name in some of his plans, indirectly trying to solve the problems by asking him to apologize to dauji, pointing out that he is tara's husband so no one can do anything to him (emotional blackmail), her crocodile tears before dauji and tara, Her reaction when tara gave jewellery and dauji gave money to her. That and her dialogue after that made me think that she is going to leave no stone unturned to fill her bag with money and her hand with power. At this point i feel this is the character which is clear of the intention and the ways to achieve it.

Falkuni Bhabhi: She does need a mention also, but she is the one who is often getting sandwiched between raja and madhu. Her character is developing into a positive stand. But how much the graph will reach is depending upon the CVs. She is one who tries to put some thought into raja's mind. Yesterday, her confrontation with god was nice. Her stand to help Rajbala, but does not know what to do. . But she is still unable to take raja's side in front of madhu. Why? May be she feels she can talk about him at the right time. Her loyalty towards both her devar and devrani and respect for their feeling; this makes her also stay where she is-stagnant.

As usual the other characters are in their own world- Tara wanted to bring her husband out and unable to do so and Dauji is missing his wife and shocked by betrayal of Bhanu (wonder what would be his plight when he comes to know about agni)

I feel the story has brought us to position where we get agog to know what the characters will do next. Now the stage is set for the next track for solving all the unanswered question. So MB is still in full form to entertain us.

Note: Nice to know that many of our hopes about MB is true. Being positive doth bring positive results. Also regarding the off-screen ideas about the lead pairs, lets never take to heart. Media is media. They always make issues of which there is hardly any base. If these media issues and other fears about are ignored, MB is still an enjoyable show. The leads are thorough professionals, they and the whole team of MB are working so hard to entertain us, we should in turn support them. Not get carried away by the news which we are only shown, where we dont have any proof. In fact there were recent photos of DVD where they were laughing in between the shots. When they are not affected why we viewers are affected. These things will only pull down our spirits, so i request you to ignore these media's false rumours and enjoy the show.

ya, it would have been nice if raja was not shown like that, but what to do;
things done cannot be undone. that too at this point of time, when they are showing madhu pregnant, then madhu will become villan, which the indian tele serial heroine can never become or rather should i say that the rule is not accepted by the CVs.
