Part 2

A few days later it was Madhu's joining date

RK was very anxious since morning He woke up early & got ready before time..drove like crazy n reached office way before time..He was anxiously waiting for her to come...Her hazel brown eyes still kept him awake at nights..He still remembers her scent her touch very vividly...its been more than a week n she hasn't left his mind even for a moment...he was waiting to see her in real, after a week long wait...

*knock* *knock*

"come in" said RK..He waited for her to come in..his heart dancing to its own tune...Seeing her after so many days his heart skipped a beat..She is beautiful..
"Good Morning Sir..Myself Madhu Malik..I'm your new PA " Muskan said confidently..
RK was surprised..He looked into her eyes trying to read them but he found nothing...She didn't recognize me..How can she forget me...it is as if she is meeting me for the first time..her eyes are blank..was I thinking too much about her that led to my infatuation towards her...Or is she faking it..I will find out soon...
"Morning Ms Malik...This job is of great responsibility, you will be directly reporting to me..n I don't like errors n delays..you can take the brief from Mr Mehta..Best of luck!!" said RK trying to sound nonchalant.
"Thank you sir!!"
"Now you may leave Ms Malik"

rest of his day went by in noticing every move of Madhu he still couldn't believe that she didn't recognize him..he felt something amiss she was same girl who has been keeping him awake at nights yet she was so different


Later in the evening at Padmini's house

"How was your day Miss Madhu Malik??" Madhu teased Muskaan
"Stop kidding me Mady!!"
"Offo bas itna hi to poocha How was your day" Madhu said feigning innocence.
"Yeah right!!! Well Madhu's day in office was very tiring n Muskaan is really tired!!!"
"Ooohhh"Madhu said making a puppy face.
"don't Ooohhh me..I had a tiring day..but I can work for hours n hours for a handsome boss like RK!!" she said dreamy..
"RK??"
"Yeah RK...My boss..He's is the most hottest guy I've seen in my 22 years..any girl would fall for him, he is walking Adonis..wait I'll show you his pic!!"
She googled him on her ipad n clicked on his picture on google images..
"See that's my boss Rishabh Kundra!!"
Madhu was hell shocked..she couldn't believe her mystery man is Muskaan's Boss!!
"He is your boss RK Rishabh kundra??" Madhu said her eyes going wide
of course he is Rishabh kundra you should have known it madhu... heir of Kundra Industries..your NGO is run by Kundra's so it should have been obvious to you that he'll be the head of Kundra industries n your I mean Muskan's Boss!!! How lost can I be..something so obvious I couldn't make out!!!

"I knew you will also drool over him once you see him..but FYI he is My boss I'm going to be the one working with him daily...yeah yeah yeah..u lost your chance babyyy" Muskan teased Madhu..

Madhu couldn't frame a sentence she was still in shock...He has been so close to her n she was so lost that she couldn't connect the dots..
"Mus.." she was about to tell Muskaan about him
"Oh F**k..When is Mom coming back from her tour??"
"Tomorrow morning...why???"
"Shit!!! Silly, mom can't know of our little secret & if I stay here she will definitely come to know..I'll have to stay at dad's ... I've to leave today itself..help me packing dumbo!!"
"No you can't leave me alone..n what will you tell Dad "
"The truth that I've got a job..he's not mom..He won't ask me 20 questions like her..so I won't have much problem there..He'll be too happy to have me"
"Oh my god you are such a manipulator" Madhu said baffled at her sister's antics
"you need to be..to survive in this big bad world..you can't always be a damsel in distress!!!" Muskaan said hurriedly packing her stuff..
"where are you taking this??" Madhu asked Muskaan when she packed a picture of both of them..
"with me..you have my cushion my study table, I'm even leaving you my basket ball what more do you want"
"I want you"madhu said..tears stung in her eyes "I'll miss u!!"
"I'll miss you too..but I have to go now sweets..you know if I get late dad will get suspicious" she kissed madhu on her forehead n left

AT RK mansion RK was getting curious about Madhu..he couldn't fathom what was missing...she was the same girl he met on his birthday yet she was so different, after today instead of fading those mystic eyes became all the more vivid...He needed to see her at the very moment to make sure that those eyes & that moment was not his illusion...
He got her address from office records n decided to see her for himself once again as he couldn't wait till morning!!!

He drove to her colony n parked his car outside campus premises..Her's was the first building of the block she lived on first floor n her balcony faced the colony gates right where RK's car was parked..he knew her colony but din know her flat...so he was looking at all the buildings trying to find a way to get to her, when he spotted her... She was like the most bright star in the night sky...she came into the balcony wearing her baby pink nightie n a robe covering her hour glass figure...
seeing her RK felt his heart thumping louder in his chest...she looked ethereal..but more than her beauty RK saw those eyes he had been searching for so long..She looked at the moon with so much longing..her eyes spoke volumes...she didn't need to speak anything her eyes were so enchanting that they captivated him..Right now at this moment she looked so real that RK realized that she can never be his imagination she is very much real...

She felt some one gazing her..she knew she was alone but still felt a warm presence around her..the inexplicable sensation of having someone around her made her very conscious..she started getting nervous n her cheeks started reddening...Stop it Madhu..he is not here..he can never be here so stop thinking about him and embarrassing yourself...He probably doesn't even remember you
else he would have told something to Musky..so please ask the romantic in you to stop cooking up stories n come to reality!!!

She facepalmed herself , went inside n slept hugging Musky's Basket ball

for him his personal screening of an angel from heaven' ended with her getting inside..he was still unsatiated..the more he saw her the more he longed for her...

so finally late in the night he bribed watchman n gained entry into her colony He climbed to her balcony n saw her sleeping peacefully from the glassdoor..she was glowing in the night light..He saw her hugging a basket ball basketball???

they say your room speaks a lot about your personality n he wanted to know her...He was intrigued, there was no way he was going without getting inside her room. So he slightly knocked on the door to see if she was sleeping..she didn't respond
sound sleeper!!!

He took off his shoes and entered her room without making much noise...he studied every nook n corner of her room...
her room defined her...it was serene like her but yet the rug underneath, the inspirational quotes written on her study table defined her strength n her love for life, a small rack in one corner of her room had a huge collection of books...he got the meat..he straightaway went to the book rack..one book that was kept aside of others was Wuthering Heights' she has bookmarked the page with highlighted lines.

"If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger."

She was reading Wuthering Heights...by the condition of the book it seemed she has read it quite a few times.
he glanced over her books most of them were classics she had a collection of Judith McNaught Jane Austen all romantic stuff...then one book caught his attention Fifty Shades of Grey' hmm Fifty Shades of Grey' nice..My gal is into dark love as well!! He smirked...

he arranged them back like they were...She had a picture of her with the kids from NGO kept on her bed side table... She loves them..Well I already knew that!!

He was so close to her by now that he couldn't stop himself getting more closer ..he sat lightly on her bed, beside her n drank in her beauty by his eyes...her stray hair lock was disturbing her in her sleep..his hands badly itched to place it behind her ear n caress those milky white cheeks n luscious lips but he couldn't risk touching her..so he very delicately blew his hot breath over her face to push the stray hair strand away from her face...as his hot breath touched her face she frowned..this was his cue..he woke up n went out without making much noise

He gauged so many things about her personality studying her room...She is a romantic colors n walls of her room suggest her soft nature yet she is strong headed n full of life.. she is a great dancer but loves Basket ball too...now things were getting clear..he could understands both the facets of her personality..When she is in public she is this strong headed girl but inside her world she is this simple girl with dreams of her knight in shining armor..He was fascinated with both the facets of her personality...

Next Morning in RK's office

RK was heading to his cabin when he saw her sitting on her desk juggling with some papers..she looked so cute trying to arrange the never ending pile of papers..she was so engrossed in her bundle of files that she didn't notice him..her face had the slight frown n cutest frown..He had a real bad urge to touch her forehead n smoothen her eyebrow n replace that frown with a smile..yet he was intrigued seeing her juggle...

"Madhu...Madhu" He called her twice but surprisingly she didn't answer
"Miss Malik!!" he again called her a little loudly.
"yes sir!!!" this time she was startled realizing he was calling her..She is Madhu..
"I see you were very much occupied with the work that you didn't hear you boss" he said with a hint of laughter in his voice..
"Its nothing like that sir..its just that I'm not used to you calling me by my first name.."
"Well we are in corporate world n here everybody addresses others by their name only..I would appreciate if you called me RK n not Sir" RK made an exception for her.
"Okay sir..uhm RK" Muskaan smiled.
"Come into my cabin Madhu!!!"

RK briefed her about their project n his meeting..She noted down everything very carefully..n was leaving the cabin when he called her again
"Madhu!!"
"yes RK"
"How is your dance class going?"
"Dance class??" Muskaan was confused.
"yeah at the NGO with the kids" Crap he is talking about Madhu's class..but how did he know..did she write it in her CV???

"Fine..its a little tiring but I'm managing.." She tried to cover up
" you are doing a great job..well its should be a little easier for you..As dancing comes naturally to you" When did he see her dancing?? Mady you've been keeping a lot from me!!
"When did you see Ma..m-me dancing" she stuttered

"Well one day when I was visiting the kids..I saw your dance!!" RK kept the details to himself.
"Oh Okay.." I Need to talk to you Mady asap!!
She stormed out of his cabin leaving no scope for him to interrogate her further...

As soon as she was out she called up her sis

"Hello Miss Madhu Malik" said Madhu teasing Muskaan.
"Shut up Mady...You know I was almost caught because of you!!"
"because of me???" Madhu was puzzled.
"yeah..why didn't you telI me that you know RK"
"I didn't know him"
"Oh so you didn't know him but he knows you!!!"
"He knows me!!" madhu said really elated.
but Muskaan was so caught up with her issue that she didn't notice Madhu's glee
"yeah..he told me how good a dancer I am.." stated Muskan
Madhu was smiling.. Somewhere she always knew that he remembered her..
"& By the way why would he visit your NGO?" Muskaan interrupted her day dream..
"Uh ho..because its his NGO" Madhu said a little irritated.
"Your NGO is his NGO!!! Holy crap!!...Mady please stop going to NGO"
"are you insane!! Why should I stop going to NGO..that is the one thing I love the most"
"Because Madhu can't be at two places at a time..."
"So you leave your job..waise bhi its unethical.."
"okay stop..I don't want a moral science lecture..just do me a favor, can you change timings of your classes I mean instead of 5 keep it at 6:30 in the evening..that ways Madhu can be at two places"
"No I can't...I take a 2 hr class n 7:30 is their dinner time "
"I don't know... keep it in the morning then..but please just keep 9 to 6 slot free for Madhu to be in the office.."Muskaan ordered.
"But..."
"Mady pleaseee" Muskan finally pleaded knowing very well what would work on her sister.

"Okay.." Madhu sighed.

from then on Madhu shifted her dance classes to early morning..Muskaan carried on her job as Madhu..n was enjoying working with RK..RK enjoyed Madhu's company in office, in very less time they have become friendly enough...but after office RK would go to Madhu's house daily..though he would spend the entire day with her in office but the peace he felt seeing her sleep like an angel was inexplicable...

"What happened Bittuji.. earthquake aaya hai jo aise bhaage jaa rahein hain?? " asked Rk seeing his manager rush towards lift
"Nahin Chief..Madhu forgot her file in the office n she has to prepare presentation from it..so I'm rushing to give her this..she is not picking up her phone" said Bittuji a little uncomfortable.
"Relax Bittuji...give it to me..i'll give it to her!!" RK said snatching the file from Bittuji's hand..finally he got the excuse he needed to visit Madhu after office hours!!!


At Padmini's

Madhu was preparing dinner for herself as her mum was out of town n she was all alone...I wish you would be here Musky I hate being alone...wats up with your phone gal..please pick up..I'm missing you!!!
Madhu tried calling Muskaan but she was unavailable..frustrated She went back to her cooking but soon she was startled by shrieking pitch of the doorbell bursting in her ear drums...it continued to ring furiously..
that has to be Musky only she can be so impatient!!! Madhu thought excited to have her sis accompany her...she turned the gas knob off n immediately ran to the door..

Rishabh was so eager to see her that he couldn't wait even a second he kept pressing the doorbell as he was getting impatient by the minute...

"offo baba coming!!" Madhu said running to take the door...

She was expecting her sister but was bowled over seeing the person standing at her door...She blinked her eyes to make sure she wasn't hallucinating...

RK on the other hand was dumbstruck seeing the beauty in front of him...Madhu looked so tantalizing in her slinky noodle strap flowery maxy dress..she had her hair tied up in loose bun revealing her long neck n seductive collarbones...her beautiful fruity smell was drugging him...his eyes lingered over her heavenly form drinking in her beauty, finally settling on her eyes those very familiar eyes he had been lusting for..She is his Madhu.

"Rishabh??" said Madhu hesitantly bringing RK out of his stupor..
It was the first time she has called him Rishabh & his name never sounded so good to him..he felt his heart rate accelerated..
"Hi...you forgot the file..so I thought of giving it to you"
"Oh..okay" Madhu said perturbed, taking the file from his hand.
"aren't you going to call me in??" He asked brazenly smirking at her.
"yeah..please come in" she said founding it very difficult to frame a coherent response...

her heart was thumping loud in her chest the man she has been dreaming about since weeks was standing right in front of her... though she has seen him after days n this was just the second time she is seeing him but his presence felt very familiar...

she made him sit on the couch n went to get coffee for him
I've not come here to sit n wait for you Madhu!!!
He glanced the room once, taking note of every little detail..n then he followed her to the kitchen..
He very silently entered the kitchen n stood a step behind her drinking in her delicious scent..she was drugging him..
Madhu realizing his presence turned around to look at him but was startled at his close proximity.

she used every ounce of her self control to concentrate on making coffee..he stood close to her n kept gazing at her unabashedly..making her all the more conscious of his presence..seeing her trying so hard to avoid his gaze brought a smile to his face & seeing him being entertained by her embarrassment irked her..
"so you are not going to talk to me..."She didn't speak anything " I have come here to see you & you are not even talking to me..you are not being a good host you know that right??" He teased.
"I'm trying to be nice but you are not helping" she finally said making the mistake of looking into his eyes
"Ahaann.." He smirked..

She was gawking at him but then suddenly the lights went off, there was power cut..& Madhu screamed scared of the dark n jumped right into RK's arms hugging him really tight..
The moment she hugged him he felt like they had never been apart really, as they embraced with such intensity her hands clasped around him..he could feel electric pulse rushing through his nerves...he would have never thought that he would get turned on just by a mere hug...
realizing her awkward position she tried to pull away..but he immediately caught her n held her
"Rish..."
he raised one finger up to her lips and just said "dont speak."
he untied her hair letting them loose..
"You are so beautiful Madhu, its not fair!!" he whispered to her ear in his velvet voice..
hearing her name from him her heart sputtered hyperactively...she was dazed..her beautiful eyes having same burning desire as his.. he began to inch closer and closer to her. She slowly backed away until she was against the wall. His face towered over her, their foreheads almost touching... His deep eyes stayed locked on hers... She could hear him breathing deeply as his hot breath hit her face...They stood like that for a moment, while she waited for him.. his large rough hands cupped her face, leaning in slowly towards her..His lips were so soft and urgent on her, trying to express all that he felt for her. It was magical. Sparks flew as she ran her finger through his hair and he cradled her face... their lips moved in sync, but got progressively more aggressive..gently he pulled apart when they both were short of breath...

He looked at her face she looked like..she has just been kissed..
"please open your eyes Madhu!!" He whispered to her lips...
she just slowly shook her head in a no..
"please.." He pleaded in his velvet voice..
she slowly opened her eyes n they were gleaming with unsaid emotions..her beautiful eyes looked more beautiful than usual...

He was about to say the words when sound of door bell distracted them..

"Now Who is that??" RK asked irritated..
"I don't know..I think its Mom!!...oh NO its Mom!!!..What should I do??" Madhu said really scared "She can't see you here..you hide...hide somewhere!!" madhu told RK, pushing him..
"Relax Madhu..you can introduce me to your mom.."
"No No that's a real bad idea...you just hide..hide in my room." She said taking him to her room..
door bell rang again
"you stay here I'll take the door" madhu said..


She took in a deep breath n went for the door..
"What took you so long??" Padmini asked suspicious
"Wo I stumbled over the table.." Madhu said taking the luggage from her mom.
"Itna andhera kyun hai??" Padmini questioned Madhu.
"there is no electricity maa"
"did you check the fuse.."
"Breath maa you have just come home relax..I'll get you some water.."


Madhu came to her room after about n hour when she was assured that Padmini was settled in her room..She saw RK lazily lying on her side of the bed, his hands across his chest..seeing her he flashed the most breathtaking smile..
it took madhu a moment to overcome the haze..
"Why r you still here why didn't you leave??" asked Madhu
"because you didn't want your mom to see me!!"
"Have you not seen any movies..heroes use heroine's balcony to get in n get out..they never use proper door" madhu said matter of factly..
"so you are saying that I'm your hero" RK said cheekily
she bit her lower lip..
"I'm saying you should really go now..if mom sees you then I'm dead"
"okay!!"
He pulled her close n lightly pecked on her lips making her blush..
"I'll see you tomorrow" he said caressing her reddened cheeks lightly with his fingers..
TOMORROW his words brought her to reality..tomorrow you will seeing Muskaan, not me Rishabh...pain crossed her face
RK registered the change in her expressions..
"If you want I can stay here.." RK said
"naah..you go.."
"Okay..I'll see you soon" sooner than u'll know Madhu He said lightly kissing her forehead

I've to tell him the truth..we can't lie to him anymore..he thinks Muskaan is me...I'll tell Musky everything n tomorrow we will tell him the truth..but what if he doesn't love me what if he loves Musky...whatever be Madhu but you can't let this go on any longer...


Later that night RK came to her room again..seeing her sleeping has now become a habit of his..but today he was surprised seeing her, for the first time she was sleeping without her basketball...he smiled seeing her I do have a great effect on her!!

But soon his smile faded as he saw her shifting in her sleep..she had a little frown on her face..RK's heart ached seeing her like this, what could be the reason of her unrest...He really wanted some answers from her but didn't want to wake her up...he was getting up to leave when he heard..
"Rishabh..." She said in her sleep n a little smile crept her face...now soothing his heart..
I'll see you soon Madhu!! he left..
