hey guys this is another story from me..unlike my other stories where Madhu is generally very mature n practical this Madhu is a little naive

this one is dedicated to Uma88 as she has encouraged me a lot..n also because of the Reader's thread they have made that gave me a chance to read all the lovely stories I was missing out on!!
A night to remember
She was hiding beneath the back seat of a car covered under a rug..her breath unsteady due to all the running and eyes red of the fear that has stuck her..She cursed herself for the most unwise decision that has brought her in this situation..unaware of what is going to happen to her..will she be able to make it to her home alive..She kept praying to all her Gods..
suddenly She sensed someone coming, her breath stuck in her throat..She heard him opening the front door of the car & taking driver's seat.
"Relax Bittuji I'm fine!!" He said irritated, to someone over the phone
"Lekin Chief why did you get out in such conditions, city is on high alert.. Rioters are burning buses & killing people..its massacre out there. "
"Bittuji aap bhool rahe hain I'm your Chief & not a kid..I know how to take care of myself..So you instead of irritating me do what I asked you to do!!!"
"ji chief I've called the commissioner & he has informed his officials, you will get clearance & nobody will stop you. "
"Thank you Bittuji..ab aap phone rakhenge to me gaadi chalaunga" He said really bored.
"Chief auntyji is very worried for you"
"Hmmm" he disconnected the call.
Sound of his voice seemed very familiar she felt like she knew him but still she couldn't risk coming out...
Oh God where is he taking me..should I get out of the hiding?? No No No..NO..What if he is some rapist or murderer..I can't risk my life..Let him park the car somewhere, then I'll sneak out..Shit I should have never lied to Mom Dad God is punishing me for it.
He lit a cigarette n turned on the radio, all over the radio there was news about the riots caused by political rivals in the city.
She smelled the cigarette.
Shit!! he lit his cigarette... Oh God help me!!..I can't stand smoke...she tried her best to hold it in but failed alas *cough cough*
What did I just hear... someone is at the back!!!
He stopped the car.
"Who's there at the back??" he asked grabbing his gun from the glove box..
"Come out or else I'll shoot!!" He warned.
She was scared out of her wits..She had no other option so she closed her eyes tight n slowly popped her head out of the rug
He was surprised seeing the cute intruder...he smiled seeing her , so petrified that she couldn't bring herself to open her eyes..
"Who are you?? & How did you get inside my car??" He asked in stern voice.
She slowly opened her eyes ...AND she was SHOCKED seeing her inquirer..her eyes popped out of their socket her mouth fell open n her lips turned into an O..she rubbed her eyes with her hand to make sure she wasn't dreaming...how come her nightmare turned into the most beautiful dream...Rishabh Kundra , The superstar RK was talking to her..
Now he was losing his patience..he snapped his fingers in front of her face to bring her out of her reverie...
"I asked something Miss."
"Can you pinch me???"
"Excuse me??" He asked baffled.
Am I dreaming?? Last time I was awake was when I was hiding in a car She looked around I'm still in that car ..yea I'm having a dream...
"No you are not dreaming.."
Shit I spoke that out loud
"and that is what I'm asking you Why.are.you.hiding.in.my.car??" He continued stressing every word.
and suddenly his words reminded her of that scary incident that happened before he came, n she got disturbed just thinking about it..
He got concerned seeing the change in her..
"You Okay?? What's your name??" he asked wanting her to speak up atleast something.
"name??"
"yeah NAME..like everybody has a name..what is yours?? " he asked really wanting to get some words out of her
"Madhubala!!" she blurted out.
"Hmm Madhu-balaa ahaan" he repeated with a smirk "So...What are you doing in my car Madhu-ba-laa??" he asked.
"Wo.."
"Yea??"
She was intimidated by him..she gulped down her saliva..and tried to speak.
"Wo I was waiting for Dips"
"Dips??"
"Dipali My best friend..We had planned to go clubbing tonight..Me and my friends...that is why I lied to my parents for the first time that I was going to Dipali's place for group studies" she said saddened
"Ohh.. so then??"
"huh??"
"How did you end up in my car??" she really is slow!!
"Ohh that..Wo while I was waiting for her I saw some goons coming towards me they had swords n hockey sticks in their hands..so I ran from there but they followed me..I was running from them when I saw your car so I got in, to hide myself from them"
"I had My car locked"
"yeah that is why I had to use my hair pin...it took forever" She complained..
"Oh it was my car that was buzzing..hmmm" he registered..
"yeah" she said making herself comfortable on the back seat.
"Excuse me!!..who do you think I am??..your Driver???"
"No..No..I know you are RK, The Superstar RK"
"glad..Now will you please come in the front seat" he said uninterested.
"Yeah sure..."
She instead of coming via door hopped directly from back to front seat startling RK.
"Chalo..lets go!!" She ordered RK.
"So now you are ordering me" He challenged..
"No No No..I was just saying that we should move now" she said embarrassed.
"Yeah but for that you have to tell me where should I drop you?"
"Just drop me at the F Lounge..My friends would be waiting for me there" She said casually.
"Are you completely insane?? did you not hear the news of riots..people following you were not just goons they were rioters..None of your friends would be waiting for you, they all must have been safely sleeping in their homes..Did you even try to contact them " He said incredulous at her naivety.
"No..actually my phone broke in the morning I din tell my parents..they would have never let me leave home without my phone" She said seeming happy about her intelligence..
Is she even from this planet..how did she survive all these years in a city like Mumbai RK wondered surprised at her naivety.
"Tell me where do you put up..I'll drop you there"
"No I can't go home..My parents think I'm at Dipali's" she said worried..
"So then you tell me fast...I'm getting old here!!"
"Can I use your phone?"
"yeah but make it fast" He handed her his phone..
OMG I'm gonna call Dips from RK's phone..FTW!!!
"Hello Dips!!"
"Madhuuu" said really worried Dips "Where the hell are you I called Uncle to inform you that the plan was cancelled but he told me you already left where were you..you din even have a phone.I was so worried" she said without a halt..
"breath Dipsy breathe..I'm fine..n you won't believe who is with me right now" She giggled
RK right away pulled her hand n snatched the phone from her hand..She looked at him startled..
"just tell me where I have to drop you"
"But..that is what I have to ask her"
"So ask her right away..you are not here on a picnic" she looked at him puzzled "And you are not telling her about me" He warned her in a low whisper.
She gulped n nodded her head in agreement..
"Dips I'm safe but I can't go home..i don't have any place to crash in..can I come at your place"
"of course you can I'll make some excuse to mom n dad for you coming so late..you don't worry about that you just come" Dipali assured her.
"Awww..thank you sweets"
"its okay love..u take care..love you"
"love you too..mmuuaah" said madhu before disconnecting the call.
Arghhh She is really a girl..I'll die hearing these mushy mushy talks..God save me I wish this night ends soon!!
Aww everything is just like a dream..I've always Imagined him in my dreams & now he is right beside me..I wish this night never ends!!
Madhu told RK Dipali's address n he immediately agreed to drop her there even though it was the other side of the city, just because he wanted to drop her safely n leave...he had enough estrogen for today he couldn't handle anymore.
"Will you stop staring me..its really disturbing!!" He said really irritated of her continuous scrutiny..
"Ohpp..sorry!!" She immediately turned her face embarrassed.
Rest of the drive went silent...she kept stealing glances every now n then..but to his relief she didn't stare him shamelessly like before.
Later at the police check post
"Sir you can't go ahead..there is red alert in the area ahead , situation is really sensitive you should return from here..rioters are getting out of control" said the inspector in charge.
"Look I know the deal..so cut the crap n let me go unless you want to upset your commissioner" RK said blatantly.
"But sir!!!"
"Inspector Do you really wanna argue with RK??" he said intimidating poor inspector.
"He said this route is not safe..still you have taken the route??" Madhu asked him concerned.
"Because I have this obligation to drop a girl...tell me If you want a ride in police van..I'll drop you at the check post & will take the safer route and I'll go my way"
"I didn't mean that" She said hurt at his indifference.
"I said I didn't mean that..then why did you stop the car..are you going to ask me to get down???" Madhu asked him really worried when he suddenly stopped the car midway.
"I didn't stop it..its stuck.. heaven knows what happened to it" He said really irritated n tired its gonna be a really long night.
He grabbed his gun tucked it in his jean & got down to check the engine..he was checking the engine for the problem when he heard the commotion behind him.. he turned n saw a group of rioters approaching them.. he acted on his reflex and in no time opened the car door grabbed her hand n pulled her out of the car..
"Run!!!" He shouted to a startled madhu..She followed his lead..n they were running for their lives hand in hand...
When he realized there is no end to running he pushed her inside an old wooden PCO booth..He pinned her against the wall n stood in front of her protecting her...their bodies brushed against each other
"RK..I"
"Shhh.."he instantly covered her mouth with his one hand , holding her arm with another...
Madhu was already intoxicated by his close proximity now his hand brushing her arm n his fingers touching her lips were creating an alien sensation in her body..her eyes dilated.. she couldn't take her eyes off his face, while he was busy looking out for the goons through a small glass panel
He felt her lips shiver under his fingers..He looked down into her eyes , one look into her eyes n he lost himself in the intensity of those hazel brown doe orbs..Sexual tension was so intense that he couldn't help but being close to her...he could feel her breath n rhythm of her escalated heartbeats which seemed to match his..he slowly caressed her lips with his fingers n her lips parted in response..He moved closer to taste her lips..
but sudden commotion outside their little world, brought them out of their trance..He instantly jerked his hands off her & looked out..while she turned her face away blushing profusely..
thankfully the group of rioters was just passing by them..He instructed her to stay still & waited for them to leave!!
"I think its clear outside we should leave" He informed.
"but Our car crashed.. Where will we go??"
"I know a place nearby... come" he held her hand..
They were walking on a secluded boulevard their hands brushing each other..needless to say Madhu was enjoying this erratic night & it brought a smile on her face..
"look at you..we just had an encounter with the goons n there is no trace of fear or stress on your face..you amaze me Madhu-ba-laa" He said trying to break the awkward silence .
"Madhu..friends call me Madhu"
"& who told you we are friends" He teased her.
"A little birdie told me.."
"Ahaann"
Oh his famous smirk.!!!.it looks all the more delish in real than reel
"you are lost again" He said waving his hand in front of her face..
"I'm not lost & I'm not scared" she pouted..
"Ohh..our little brave girl" he teased her again
"Well I'm not scared because I have you with me & I know you will not let anything happen to me" she said simply.
for the first time in his life he was tongue tied..He din know how to respond
"jab hero saath hai to darne ki kya baat hai" she continued when he didn't speak anything...
"Hero!! its not a scripted feature film..its real life"
"Who knows maybe somebody is actually scripting everything"
"Bas.. stop the chit chat..We've reached.."
"Studio RK..you brought us to studio..wow I've never been to one" her eyes shining with excitement seeing the Sitara studio
Seeing her so happy at such a simple thing brought a smile on his face too...
He went to the guard to ask him to open the studio gates but to his luck guard was not there!!!
"I think he must have left to some place safe because of the riots" RK guessed.
"Now what will we do RK??"
He didn't speak anything but just held her hand n dragged her along with him
"RK??"
He took her to the backside of the studio where there was an old small iron gate..
"RK is this your plan to hide in the backside of the studio..yahan to bahut machar(mosquitoes) hain!!" She complained for the stupid plan..
He looked at her baffled ..
"Don't stress your gray cells too much..I'm here I'll do the thinking you just follow my lead"
He kicked the iron door
"R.." He glared at her n She pursed her lips immediately..
The door broke open in just two kicks n She started clapping seeing the door open
"Wowww... action hero!!!"
He gave her a whatever' look n went inside the door She followed him and instinctively clung to his arm digging her face in his arm..She was scared of the dark n studio inside was pitch dark..He sensed her fear n delicately patted on her hand over his arm with his other hand.
"Relax I'm here !!" He said to ease her
"So our little brave girl is scared finally!!" He said in a teasing tone.
"I'm just scared of dark!!" She defended herself making him giggle.
He lit his cigarette lighter.
"Okay Now??"
"Hmm" She brought her head out but still didn't leave his arm..
"Is this the set of your new film??"
"No..It was my dad's studio..I used to come here as a kid"
"Oh" was!! Madhu could sense the sadness in his voice..She wanted to ask him more about it but realized that it might hurt him.
RK turned on the baby light through generator as there was only this one light available...
"Oh my God!!..its the set of Saawariya!!!"
"wat??"
"Ranbir Kapoor movie..that blue film..Oops I mean his debut movie the entire set is blue...Waaowww" her excitement was like of a child visiting Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.
He had never witnessed such innocence in his life..In his world beauty n innocence were facade people used to hide there uglyself..people smiled for cameras but those smiles never reached their eyes..And this girl is everything that he can never be n he can never have..In that moment her innocent sparkling eyes defined life for him..He couldn't help but simply gaze at her.
"What are you thinking...again cursing me for choosing your car to hide in??" She said cheekily..
"No..I'm just musing were you born like this..or its just today you hit your head really hard n gone insane" he teased.
"Me to aisi hi hoon..but I'm also wondering that are you always so sore or you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today n still having the effect!!" She said sitting on the stairs
"Are you trying to be funny with me??" he started to leave but she suddenly held his hand.
"Sorry..please don't leave" She pleaded.
"No baba I'm not leaving..I'm just going to get some food for us!!"
"you are hungry?? You should have told me earlier I have food for you"
"you have food for us??"
"yeah..in my bag (sling bag)"
She started taking out things one after the other from her bag while he looked astounded.
"you have an entire world stuffed in this small thing!!" He said amazed
"These are all necessities.."
"Necessities??"
"yea..that's kurti for tomorrow since I was staying at Dipalis..that's my brush..these are my medicines..cetirizin for cold n allergy..crocin for fever..combiflam for pain..sanitizer...vomitstop.."His eyes grew big n big but she continued "that's meftal..tampons" Shit!! She bit her lips embarrassed n kept them inside immediately n he turned his face away..She grabbed the next thing that she got in her hand n took it out..
"Ahmm n that is my dress for clubbing" she said holding a small sequined off shoulder black dress along the length of her body..
His eyes popped out just by seeing the tiny dress
"Isn't it too small for you" He asked perplexed.
How can she go out wearing something so tiny..this girlshe really doesn't know how those big boys are...n this tiny piece of cloth leaves nothing to imagination.. hell just seeing this dress I'm imagining her in this n beyond...No I can't have her wear this ever atleast not in front of those testosterone high males..
"Madhu you are not wearing this!!" he ordered.
"huh What??" she asked confused..
yeah what?? & Why am I ordering her?? Why is it bothering ME so much?? whatever it be but I'm not letting you wear this dress Madhu!!
"I mean its not good..you must be having better dresses than this, wear them not this"
"Really?? you don't like it??"
"yeah..colour.. its not good"
"okay I won't wear it" she smiled.
"good" He said really relieved "but where is the food you were talking about??"
"oh yeah.." She started searching her bag again "there's my heels..that's Dipsy's belt..Umm...Oh here!! " She finally found it. "Here it is!!"
"Chocolates?? That you call food??" He asked baffled seeing her offering him a big box of chocolates.
"yeah..yummy na I always carry them with me!!"
"ya.. but its not meal it's desert" he complained
"atleast I have the desert you don't even have that" She gave him back
He glared
"I know you are hungry.. I don't need it.. you have it all..okay!!" She said innocently offering him chocolates again..
Seeing her sweet gesture he couldn't keep himself from smiling.
"No I won't have it all"
"but.." before she could argue he took one out n fed her.
"We'll share!!"
They shared those chocolates..like they say share chocolate share happiness!!
"Umm..water??"
"Hey I have that too!!" She took out a tiny bottle of water from her bag.
Seeing the tiny bottle he again smiled..
"it is as tiny as you"
"I'm not tiny I'm 5'4..n stop making fun of me like I'm a kid..I'm 23" She said offended yet passing him the bottle
"23??" he questioned after drinking few sips from the tiny bottle & saving rest for her.
"well 22 turning 23 this jan..n mind you I'm MA economics, final year"
"Ohh Economy..no wonder country's economy is going down" He laughed
"You!!" She hit him on his arm..
after a beautiful dinner He found an old rug n made a makeshift bed of it for her to sleep
"Here..now you can sleep on it" he said patting the bed..
"Where will you sleep??"
"I won't sleep..you sleep here" he said getting up but she held his hand.
"Please sleep here only..I'll get scared..I can't sleep alone"
He hesitated a little but seeing her pleading face he agreed...n they both lay beside each other..
both were looking at the ceiling
"RK??"
"hmm"
"you said this studio was your dad's"
"yeah It was my dad's but he got bankrupt so he had to sell it..you know I spent most of my childhood in this studio only" he said now facing her "I used to bunk school & come here to see the shooting & I also had a secret place here where I used to hide from my mum whenever she found out about me bunking school but my dad always knew where to find me..He was the one who introduced me to the camera for the first time..He always used to say 'Tiger tu hero hai or hero kabhi nahin haarta!!' n I would just laugh " He said reminiscing the past
"You really miss him na!!!" she said looking into his glistening eyes.
"Hmm..I'm missing him a lot today.. maybe that's why I went to my old house today"
"old house??"
"hmm...when you were hiding in my car I was at my dad's house..coincidence!!" He laughed..
"one more coincidence..we are wearing almost similar clothes..you are wearing blue jean white shirt n I'm also in blue jean n white top..who knows someone is actually scripting this" she said cheekily.
"Shutup n sleep..you are tired n you are blabbering" he said straightening himself .
"RK??"
"Hmm Madhu??
"This studio..it is really special..it has your childhood..your dad's memories..It should be yours..you should own it, & no one else"
He didn't say anything to it.
I've never told about dad, about studio to anyone but this girl who just met me a few hours back I've shared my most precious memories with her...How is she bringing out so many feelings in emotionless RK
'It should be yours..you should own it, no one else'
This one line changed him He had been fighting his past for years..He became a hero, a superstar to make his dad's dream come true but he always felt it incomplete & now he knew what has been missing..She showed him the way Sitara Studio is my dad's n now I'm going to get it back for him.
He woke up in the morning to realize the awkward position they were sleeping in..She slept with her head on his shoulder her arm holding him over his chest & her one leg wrapped over both his legs..she slept like an innocent kid with a sweet smile on her face She looked so alluring n pure that he felt really tempted & lightly gave a peck on her forehead and then very delicately He freed himself from her without waking her up..
He tried to call Bittuji but phone lines were jammed
I can't have her stay here for long its not safe & she didn't even have a proper dinner..We have to get out of here before situation worsens..I have to arrange for a vehicle
He went out to arrange for a vehicle leaving behind a note knowing very well that if he woke her up then she would not let him go alone & he didn't want to risk her life taking her along, it was not safe outside.
She woke up with a smile after a very peaceful sleep..but soon her smile vanished when she didn't find him beside her..She looked around & found his note..
Good Morning sleepy head
I'm going out to arrange for a vehicle
n some food(that is not chocolate :p ) for us..

reading the note her heartbeat became normal again but she was still worried for RK
RK arranged a car & some food for them from a fan..being a superstar really made things a little easier, that guy was so happy to lend his car to The Superstar RK all he had to do was give an autograph n get a picture clicked with him..He gave him Bittuji's No. n promised him to buy a new car .
His breath stuck in his throat, ground beneath his feet slipped away seeing the sight in front of him, main gate of the studio was on fire vans, trucks outside the studio everything was on fire..He prayed to almighty for Madhu's safety
He immediately got out of the car & ran through the fire to get into the studio.. thankfully studio inside didn't catch fire..he ran without thinking towards the set where he left her early morning..but She wasn't there..
"Madhu..Madhu!!!" he shouted but she didn't come.
He felt his life slipping off his hands
Where are you Madhu..please come..you can't leave me..I'm sorry I'm sorry I left you alone..I promise I won't leave you alone again but please come..God please bring her back to me..No Nothing is going to happen to you I'll find you..just wait for me I'm coming!!
RK determined to find his Madhu went out in search of her..
he looked outside the studio he kept shouting her name..
He was shouting like mad when he saw her..She came from behind the studio..He saw her n felt his life coming back to him..he ran to her
He held her n hugged her in a breath crushing hug & kept kissing her on her forehead & her hair.
"Thank God..Thank God you are okay..if anything..anything happened to you I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself..." He looked into her eyes n saw fear in them for the first time since they met...
"Why did you leave me RK?? I got so scared..I heard them coming so I ran from there..then I heard them destroying everything..& I saw everything was on fire..I got so scared for you..I almost died there thinking about you"
"Silly you were scared for me??" He asked surprised
"yeah you..Who asked you to go out in the riots?? What if something happened to you?? "
"Relax Madhu nothing happened to me I'm fine..& I'm sorry I left you alone"
"Hmm..promise me you won't leave me again!!"
"I promise..now just relax..I've got a car.. now I can drop you safe"
Her heart sank hearing him..She didn't want to leave him..She didn't wanna go home..no matter how erratic this night had been it still is the most beautiful night of her life & now with the morning this beautiful dream of hers is also coming to an end..
She nodded her head slowly n went to sit in the car.
"RK drop me home..I don't want to go to Dipali's"
"But your parents??"
"I'll tell them the truth..I shouldn't have lied to them"
"But I'm glad you lied to them." He mumbled.
"Huh??"
"your address??"
rest of the drive went by silent she didn't speak neither did he..She was deep into her thoughts
"We've reached..that's your building!!!" He informed her bringing her out of her reverie..
"Hmm" She got down without saying a word ..she could feel her tears betraying her..She didn't want to look into his eyes & let him know that she was hurt
"Madhu!!" He called her getting down of the car
She stopped but didn't turn.
"How come this little chatter box is not saying anything...not even a Bye" He went close to her..
She turned to say Bye but..
He pulled her by her waist n smashed his lips onto hers..She was startled at his reaction but as his lips met hers she felt the jolt of electricity running through her veins, sensations so strong that her body was not able to take..she was melting under his touch...She wrapped her arms around his neck & pulled him more & more close in response..She followed his lead their mouths were moving in concord, as though they couldn't get enough of each other, as though to devour each other with their lips, mouths, and tongues would be the only way to express what they felt for each other..it was her first kiss and with the man she loved more than her life..He wanted her to feel his love...He broke the kiss when they were out of breath...He rubbed his nose against hers & cupped her face in his palms while She was waiting for him to say
"Sorry I can't let you go..I just promised you I won't leave you again & I'm a man of my word"
She couldn't believe this was happening she was mesmerized
"I met this silly girl last night n in just a few hours I saw a life with her that I would never have imagined..now I want to experience it with her whole my life..so I'm not letting you go not now not ever"
"Can you pinch me" She said smiling , happy tears rolling down her eyes.
"I can kiss you!!" & he kissed her again.
"Till yesterday I saw you only my TV screen..I knew you but I didn't know you..I didn't know what love was but last night changed everything..I still don't know how n when I fell in love with you..All I know is I love you more than anything else in the world I love you more than myself"
"I love you more" He said simply
pyaar ko waqt ki nahin lamhe ki zaroorat hoti hai
