I'm hearing or reading the word "Dark Love" very often now a days, and some viewers are trying to justify violence and killing as a part of dark love.😕
I guess first of all we need to understand what is dark love we are sucking to!🤔
Dark love is clearly defined where there are nothing about violence or killing, though different mind can define differently.😳
I'll try to give two examples of Dark Love as per my belief 😃 I could be wrong 😃
You don't want to love the person you love, but you can't help it, and that makes you hate the person. And the relationship has to remain mysterious because there are things that they can never know about each other because it would make them love each other more. And the deeper in love they are with someone, the more it will hurt in the long run if the thin line between mystery and knowledge/love and hate is broken.

When love becomes more about possessing and controlling another person- treating them as an object not an equal, that's the dark side of love. It's also a form of idolatry- worshipping and obsessing over a static image of a person that they cannot possibly live up to. Real love is respecting his/her unique beauty (inner and outer) and honoring his/her free choice to love you in return.
