JM's POV.

There are multiple ways to look at it... just put yourself in her shoes. If you see someone you live with beating a person to death, after you have seen them sneaking out at the dead of the night with a loaded gun, right in front of you and you know you may make a difference .. may be able to stop him from doing so.. won't you try to stop him? Raja is the only person she knows in the household. And she knows Raja can be ready to kill anyone for the smallest of reasons.. that day he was going to kill those goons just because they touched her.. she stopped him that day as well na? And he did stop... She did the same here... she acted on her reflex...

It is also because of the fact that she may call him jungli.. insensitive... idiot... janwar.. and what not.. but he is still her husband.. she begs him to leave her.. let her go... she really wants to go.. but she knows till the time she is living with him.. till the time he lets her go.. they are husband and wife... that's why she puts on sindoor.. that is why that day she obeyed Raja when he asked her not to tell anyone that he left her a note... she even took up that test but never disobeyed him... that's why she put the pallu (better late than never..) ... when she was rushing to stop Raja...

You may also say she cares for him deep down as well.. remember she called him "Raju" in her monologue after she finished reading his note... she does run to him when in trouble (the snake scene).. she has a bond with him deep down..

It was very much in her character... and it was not something incomprehensible. You see where she is coming from.. that day when Raju was beating AK.. she was rooting to beat the man up because AK abused Raju .. mistreated him as a mentally challenged person.. and slapped JM thinking there is no one to stand up for her... she was rooting for her husband to beat him up... not to kill him.. otherwise she wouldn't have felt disgusted when he killed him without any trace of remorse! She is shook up after AK's murder... she hasn't really got over it! Also it was Raju... who was not capable of hurting anyone severely.. and this is Raja who has the tendency to kill anyone when angry.. big difference there. And anyway as I said even the situation was very different from this...

About Bhanu .. why she didn't say anything... well there is a difference between humiliating someone and beating someone to death! She did feel uncomfortable at that point but she was seconds before insulted in front of the entire clan herself.. who was actually cheering for Bhanu when he was misbehaving with her... here it shows clearly that she is not mahaan! You cannot put that tag on her! She is humane! A good person yes... but not mahaan!

Didn't she voice her disgust when Dauji was torturing that widow? She did na? That's exactly who she is! She cannot stand violence! That is why she is so misfit in Raja's world! She hasn't even slapped anyone till date! It is in her character to abhor violence... And Raja ko sirf gun ki boli ati hai .. as he said..And that is why she calls him jungli only.. because of his love for violence and chauvinistic ways!

Though she is wrong here.. because that is all she sees in him.. it happens na.. when you dislike someone you dislike everything about them.. so she doesn't see his love.. she is insensitive to his feelings at this point.. but so is he... he protects her.. loves her.. but he doesn't really understand or connect with her emotionally... he thought by humiliating Bhanu in the party he cleared the matter once and for all.. he doesn't see that till then the damage was done.. she was already humiliated and hurt publicly... he only balanced it out by humiliating Bhanu.. he didn't erase her pain.. he comes and drools on her.. trying to get close to her... so she thinks his love is shallow... obviously there is a disconnect between the two emotionally.. they are at two very different places.. it is necessary.. though it won't be easy for them to find a middle ground..

I am just explaining you JM's point of view as you asked about her, not talking about Raja's POV. I see both JM's and Raja's POVs... and I seriously cannot love them both enough! They are so humane, real and flawed! I love how the characters are developing this season!

Sorry reply got long... 😕😳

Simply we need to ask ourselves one tiny question...If we saw a man suddenly being beaten savagely to death, would we keep quiet and stand aside or would we interfere?

Yaha koi mahaanta nahin ho rahi. This is basic humanity.
JM is in no way Mahaan. I find it funny why people have this silly misconception.

JM is humane not Mahaan. There is a difference. Meaning - JM believes in humanity and not social service.
If people do not call her Mahaan for taking care of Raju...a very noble deed...they have no right to call her mahaan for simply standing up against a crime.

Hmmm...I agree that deep down she knows she is married...and that is why she puts on the sindoor etc...she cant disrespect that sacred bond...BUT I think she doesnt accept the changes this marriage has brought into her life so forcefully without her consent...and thus she tries to object to it.
You may also say she cares for him deep down as well.. remember she called him "Raju" in her monologue after she finished reading his note... she does run to him when in trouble (the snake scene).. she has a bond with him deep down..

Yup...Raju is the only thing she connects to w.r.t Raja...thats why she is always trying to compare the two...

Also it was Raju... who was not capable of hurting anyone severely.. and this is Raja who has the tendency to kill anyone when angry.. big difference there. And anyway as I said even the situation was very different from this...

Lets not forget JM pulled Raju away herself after it became too much of AK beating by Raju...she was rooting for the bad guy who slapped her to be punished not killed.

Again Bhanu publicly humiliated her...she had a right to demand satisfaction and so she kept quiet and watched Raja ...also its to be noted Raja's agenda was to humiliate Bhanu mainly...
Since it was never shown Raja tried to seriously kill Bhanu...we cannot predict how JM would react. Its a moot point.

Yup! on the very first day in the village, she protested for Faguni...that is her nature...while she may not

Agree sis...right now the fact that Raja is violent and chauvinistic and regressive has erased all his good qualities to JM...she is not seeing beyond that macho thing...and Raja is not helping matters at all...he has no idea about dealing with emotions at all...and his chauvinistic mentalities and violent upbringing are destroying everything he tries to do ...

I am just explaining you JM's point of view as you asked about her, not talking about Raja's POV. I see both JM's and Raja's POVs... and I seriously cannot love them both enough! They are so humane, real and flawed! I love how the characters are developing this season!

Yup this was JM...I love them both a lot too. I am a fan of the CVs for this awesome setup and characters in the story !

Amazing analysis, you have understood the characters very well and their situation and the slap part also, I don't support the slap of hero to heroine or heroine to hero but everytime there are circumstances which make the characters do so,season 2 suits beauty and and beast story and it is my favourite and love these type of stories, again want to say loved ur analysis

Yeah this was the most truthful analysis that I read . Actually I think he is still not in love with madhu , just a physical attraction which he is calling love , he is yet to fall in love .
