Humans are like unmodified versions of themselves until they meet that particular one... the one who uncovers all the good within them !!
For a man like Raja that particular person is of course none other than Madhubala or else why would a man like Raja, who belongs to a particular background, would be so much concerned for a woman whom he already owns now? Why would he be so concerned with the fact that his Rani should be treated well by people? Why would he be so concerned about her weaknesses ( her specs) ? Like seriously, this guy gets more irritated than madhu herself when his sister takes away her glasses.. i guess this gesture itself is a big evidence of his genuine feelings towards her.. it shows he is a man who doesnot potentiate the weaknesses of a woman, rather he is the one who would lend a hand when she will need him.
For a man like Raja's background , its very surprising that he would say sorry to his wife ever but he did.. he even said sorry to his wife when accidently he pushed her to sit, at least it was a bit surprising to me.
His genuine concern towards madhu's discomforts, such as coughing and feeling cold, were really so contradictory to what he has been taught throughout his life.. but he did show true concern and being honest i loved his discomfort throught the sequence.. so yeah he is probably a man with a good soul but covered with those heavy covers of orthodox.. covered with the fail traditions... but yet he didnt fail to recognize that woman who saved him during his state of unmindfulness... he didnt fail to respect her in front of her.. he didnt fail to say it out loud today that he owes her a lot coz she brought him back to life..
Yes, Raja was like a silent bystander during these "strange, almost hurtful" rituals.. he didnt protest even once..but a thing to remember is that he must has been also living a false truth since childhood, told by his world. by.his famly, that these are "good rituals".. these are "ways of giving respect to others".. just as he told madhu on their way that his family would give her a lot of respect..so right now how would he know that this is a lie when he has been living in this world for so many years.. but then there is something within him that makes him move uncomfortably whenever his soul senses that something is not going right but still he chooses to say silent.. coz he was taught to do so.. but for sure, a day will come when he will realize the truth himself and then he will save her too..
He already showed us a glimpse today that he would really stand up for the woman whom he has chosen to love.. whom he has chosen to make her the queen of his life..of his heart!
For me Raja s not that man who was brought up by tauoji,a man who doesnot respect humanity, rather the real Raja is the one whom we will witness in the future and whom we already met in the past, the one who was innocent, kind..and ofcourse not evil.. as, i already said.. madhu is the trigger to introduce him to his real selfđł
Thus, the day he will be aware about the realities of his world...he will save the rani of his life as well...he will take her away form all this..he will take her to their world and then the romance startsđł đ
