Distribution of the channel is one of the main problem n the major problem now, especially for old shows like BV and SSK. But I do not think the same problem much affected the new shows like rr n BI as they never reach till now at the current trp of SSK n BV.Channel is over promoting BI n RR.
Sometimes over promotion also affect badly.
For MB, tough competition n no promotion.

Channel always showed stepmother treatment to MB even at its best period. It never had much promos its golden period also compared to other serials like ssk n BV.

See for Bani which never touch 2, always only maintained at 1.8 or 1.9 in its good time, have good promotion from its staring to till today.

Last thing sometimes some scenes or track they put it so slow that few people get easily bored... as for I remember one as such scene where RK-Madhu staring... well young ones may like it but my dad got pissed off and went away saying they have nothing to show now... both only keep looking at each other. Same with all... at a time they only able to make happy only one type of audience but they should try and need to target and make happy each age group in one single track only.

Their problem is -

1) As much as their reality shows or say non fiction shows are unique their fiction shows are not.

2) Their serial story concept are good but then the audience took a u turn when they show a hundred degree of u turn. Many shows not in alone MB or other shows too the sudden start of twist even before proper closure of previous track doesn't sound that great.

3) Except one two episode or few serials none serials have that happy go moment and if they have it is for short time. Eg can they just show some happy going picnic in positive way before beginning new track can relax audience and get them prepared for upcoming track.

4) Their major problem from RK/VD to many actors and characters of their other show is too... they keep experimenting with most liked character which actually messed up the things.

5) Almost a same logic or story in all serials.

6) Promo actually they don't promote fiction show much not even like reality shows.

7) As much as they can provide masala in reality show they cannot keep providing same masala in serials and if they provide also they not able to maintain.

8) Many shows started in good notes but later turn to disaster and stretched ones.

9) They have all top actors and not alone VD others too many are very good actors but almost some actors are wasted.

10) They keep challenging the viewer to spoon feed their track if also the viewer don't like it sometimes.

11) With MB they have a major issue with no reason. How long they will run from the fact that we want to see DVD only in this show.

12) Now latest they actually introduced same track in two serials.

I may go on but has to stop.

Moni - I agree other channels have but I am only saying as a colors viewers alone because the channel actually introduced to have unique show where they focused child marriage ... Bollywood theme... so I am saying only looking at colors... they can't able to hold back or maintain their own story or twist sometimes as they should.
Leave everything and see our show... what is a actual theme of MB Bollywood track while whole RK time we used to complain that we are not getting Bollywood track but now when I look back I miss even Pack Up!!! atleast some glimpse of Bollywood tho mil jaate the ... and now when we expected we will have Bollywood track they again introduced more hurdles and many things in between before Bollywood tho till time they will reach ultimate motto most of the audience might have run away getting tired like previous time. They use lots of hurdles more than required negativity. As an DVD fan we are watching it but then if you need to attract more audience for MB then they should show strong story which they promise. And what they did in Rishbala case ... only one movie and khatam and we expected they will show journey of the couple. MB was their biggest project I heard this sometime back and hope I didn't heard wrong.😆

the new shows they started are very very very irritating and old ones are too old to run and bring a good trp. BV has got nothing left. and SSK is such a boring, brain damaging show. madhubala is trying to bring twists and turns bt no one knows abt that coz theres no promo. i think thats the case.

Agree with you moni..promoting overrated shows is the only thing 😆

i think its mainly bcoz of similar kind of serials.. almost all the serials belongs to village kind of.. all bahu's put pallu on their head says jee maji.. In every serial woman is targeted, humiliated. There is nothing new. Basically it does not have diversified serials...

Well But Just think that Whatever points U told about the Storylines and Twists and all Doesn't it happen in Other shows of Other channels ? As far as Versatility is concerned , Well When it comes to Fiction shows NO SHOW IS UNIQUE in Any channel . Every show have some Concept first and then gets changed according to twists and drama and ofcourse Trp's . So I don't think Versatility can be the reason . Regarding having issues with DVD , Well that might affect only Personal way , But Why TRP's Will have any affect with it ? that too so DRASTICALLY ?? 😲General Audience are not aware of behind the Scenes of the show , toh why they will stop watching any show for it ? . Introducing Same tracks in two shows (Don't know what shows U are talking about) But Again would say . this happens with every show on every channel .

wrong promotion strategy..ignoring capable shows and actors...same kind of dehati shows wid lods of women abusment...biased towards particular shows...these are the same reason..bt honestly as neutral viewer i think after star,only rangeela hs gd shows..zee hs worst fiction shows except ja,bt their promotion strategy is v.good...rangeela ki akal gayi mineral waterme
