So its the storyline who is the real hero

I knew this before hand, without an interesting storyline even SRK or Salman khan can't save this show, but I kept quiet for I was grateful to CVs for listening to the fans and bringing VD back, but does their job end with getting VD back on the show? how long people will watch a show without a convincing storyline? there inst any dearth of good writers, if CVs could hire so many actors post leap they could get a good writer too..what worked for season 1 and didnt work for season 2? read bellow,

1: Extreme conditions:

RK and Madhu hated each other so much initially that one had to struggle to imagine them together without them killing each other, forget having a romantic relation... and that built the curiosity in viewers, they wanted to see how they will come closer and fall in love and that is why whatever they did people watched it, here in this season first Abhay and MAdhu fell for each other without any drama and hungama and now Raju and Madhu are married, does it excite us at all? it doesn't make me curious if they are going to fall in love or not? Raju is fully dependent on Madhu there is no way he is going away from her and the only unread chapter is his recovery and if his background details are true then he is going to be with Madhu only even after he gets normal.. so? whats so unique in that?

2: Characterization of the leads:

Initially in the first season both RK and Madhu were very fierce, defiant and strong headed but later they compromised Madhu's character to create the mighty RK, as two stubborn and strong headed people cant stay together in a relationship so that was still justifiable secondly in love stories we are so used to of a heroine who is damsel in distress and a hero who is knight in a shining armor, I remember whenever RK defended Madhu in front of his family or Dipali how much we loved those scenes, but here both Madhu and Raju are damsels in distress, instead of being the man in relationship Raju adds into Madhu's miseries making her more vulnerable than she already is, Do we like it this way? no PERIOD

Junior Madhubala:

She is such a flawed character, she has no self respect , no courage and no opinion of her own. She has gone through a lot, AK cheated her, she was married to a mentally challenged guy and she discovered that she is the daughter of THE Rishabh Kundra and Madhubala? but did she think over it? did she try to know more about her parents? did she feel bad that her parents didn't have a natural death and they were killed? did she want to know how they were? where they used to live? No.. all of a sudden Raju became more important than her pain, her past and parentage? is it cool? Was Harshwardan Kapoor more important than RK and Madhu? That his death was such a big deal and Rishbala's isn't? who would want a daughter like that? and I don't know why MB cvs think that brains and smartness are forbidden for the female leads, does anyone watch Sasural Simar ka? the Roli of that show is a man in the packaging of a woman,, she is sharp and scheming (in a good way) and Bani wasnt doing well when the title girl was taking all the nonsense from her hubby.. the ratings increased only when she decided to avenge her hubby, and do I need to tell why Aliya of Beintehaa is loved by one and all? Coz she has brains and she takes no shit from anyone.

Raju:
He is cute and he has RK's face is all he has,, there is no oomph and nothing intriguing about him,,, I wanna meet the mahan person who chose this role for him,, a mentally challenged person could be a violent, aggressive and unpredictable guy, that a person would need a life insurance policy to go near him and here Raju is so easy going and loving.

Forced Situations and Repetition:

Ok when Madhubala senior scarified her life for a sinking Malik we were so touched by her gesture, but when MB junior did the same for Radha we couldn't feel anything because we had already seen that, and let me tell you something its easy to make a new show hit but it takes a lot of effort to bring a sinking ship back to sailing smoothly... why would we watch a repeat of the events of season one? are we that desperate? the same Majboor heroine and revenge and the most stupid of all is Madhu living in AK mansion with the whole Kapoor clan and Madhu taking all the nonsense by AK, who is no one to her, she can easily escape this situation by confiding Bittu jee, who could hide it from the dying Radha. She isn't even bound to any contract like her mother. So it makes this whole situation lame and forced.

AK's Revenge:

Does AK's revenge make any sense? if he could avenge Madhu for no reason then why can't Madhu seek revenge on him for his father had threatened to kill her father? or at least hate him for cheating her and making her marry Raju? instead she still calls him Abhay Sir? Sanskari, isnt she? Why Harshwardan's son could seek revenge for his father's death and Rishbala's daughter can't avenge anyone? uske toothpaste mein namak nahi ha kya? she is RK's daughter who lived for revenge and if we talk about season 1, RK was Madhu's hubby he had some right on her to dominate her of control her life,, but who is AK to Madhu? how could he keep her in his house without her will?

The Lookalikes:

We, by the grace of AS, have the exact replicas of RK and Madhu who have no clue that they are the living miracles of kalyug.. Does Madhu know that Raju has RK's face? or does Raju know that? yesterday's party had the whole media gathered up in AK mansion but those blind idiots or their rusted cameras failed to notice that they have the ditto of Madhubala Rishab Kundra in AK's party who has her hair on her one shoulder exactly like her mom? and I am sure no body would know that AK has adopted a lookalike of RK as well, I mean it can't be AK's hobby to collect the lookalikes of past film stars. Forget that fake media, don't we the viewers deserve to know why these two have the same faces as Rishbala? would it hurt if Bittu, Radha or some fortune teller baba indicates that these two pagal kids are God's justice to Rishbala and their true love, whose lives were snatched away from them at that young age, and its an another chance for them to live and love again..

Now this is what we had feared since day one regarding "NO STORY" in the show nahi ?

I have many things on TV to watch, Like IPL, MBH, TMKUC even that dil dori bandhe whatever, So why would I care tuning on to MEIEJ ?

To watch Vivian Drashti ? 😳 Fine, I saw the first promo, got excited had their glimpse OVER !! TRP Audience don't DROOL over Actors like us 😆

1. Its always a Protagonist VS Antagonist, where viewers connect and side with one, But now it is more of 'Kapoor vs Kapoor' Nautanki 🥱 All of them are PLAIN EVIL, so being a viewer why would I care bother who wins among them ?? 🤔 Plus the Basis of their Revenge is so nonsense 😳

2. Raju and Madhu are too cute I Agree, But how long I have to Adore their cuteness ?
Raju has only one Dialouge "Meet my Gudiya, This is MY Gudiya" FINE We know it, Aage badho bhai 😆
And JM keeps oscillating in her character. One moment she talks, next moment she's back to crying and polishing shoes. Who would like to watch a female lead reverting to such things ? ?

She just knew the truth of her LIFE, She's THE RK and Madhu's daughter for god sake 🤪 But No reaction at all ? Fine she has no emmotional connect to them, but its your parents damn it !! And not any ordinary ones, you are a daughter of 2 Superstars 😲

Moreover both RM-2 give me the feeling of being the most unfortunate dukhiyare abla nar and naaris 😭 Who have been gifted a sallotep on their mouth by NF 😆

3. The STORY is INVISIBLE 🤢 It should have been Reincarnation of RishBala as RajBala and that can still happen I say, That would have made people accept that YESS !! They are BACK for Revenge, But now we only know RishBala faced a tragic death and its like nobody cares about them 🥱 Mar gaye toh rehne do 😳 Ulta their most loved possesion, their daughter is made to live like a servant 😳

4. Its a FACT, in a story like MEIEJ, Cuteness lives for a week or more, But Love-Hate Story is remembered for Ages, Because their is always TENSION b/w the Protagonists, we have a story for them where Both are Strong and have their own well-funtioning Brains !! We get excited for their REACTIONS to each other coz thats remains a Mystery. But now everything looks so OBVIOUS and Predictable 😳

Bang on Shonuu 👍🏼 the only reason season 1 worked is because of the strong storyline and initial strong characterization of the leads. No actor is above the story. Just getting back DVD in the same frame is not going to magically make things alright. Raju and JMs characterization is extremely weak and illogical. And to make it worse both the leads are shown to be helpless in front of the antagonist. Who on earth is interested in watching the villain get away with all his atrocities while the leads are always suffering? Moreover the link with the previous season is only through Harshvardhan while Sr RM are completely forgotten. How can the viewers feel any connect or empathy for Jr RM then 🤔

The show is still fully abt AK and RM specially Raju is like a side character revolving around AK 🤢

shonuu go look at the TRP charts for the show which has HIGHEST TRPs...they have no story n suck big time

Awesome post Shonu right now MB story has no heads and tales i said this before will say again by exchanging grooms trps wont come. The show is total mess up one is chanting his useless revenge revenge and other is standing not even asking what revenge Ak uncle.

Very good analysis Shonnu! PH job dint end with bringing VD back in d show. Evn crap episodes in season 1 worked becos of rishbala, bt to achieve that effect rishbala story had a very strong base n well defined characters.

bt in this season, there has been no planning n casual disregard to characterisation n storyline. we cdnt evn connect much with JM after she came to mumbai. post leap till the story ws in mathura, the trp was also not bad, infact it rose. cvs shd have focused on giving a good story line.

if they had planned post leap then they shd also have planned good story line. their first mistake ws in selection GU who dint suit the role of a super star. that started the first slip.

people who were used to DVD pairing were unable to accept the new lead. if GU ws a better actor this might still have worked. bt he ws not n ppl started rejecting n leaving the show. (the leftover few fans)

so emergency situation VD ws brougt back. wonderful move by AS! bt shdnt he also spent some time on storyline. all of us knw success of the first season ws RK n rishbala romance. and there was enough obstacles to make d story interesting. initially we had balllu in waiting, deepali to give local effect and rishbala themselves fighting with each other.

whereas in second season we have abhay whose reason for revenge is very weak n his methods are so kiddish that it is not evn funny. LW n sweety play season 2 deepali bt the revenge they attempt are cinderalla times. whn d prince who is supposed to come as a saviour is himself playing a victim, wht hope fans will have.

still i wd say the story is still salvageable provided cvs take some emergency measures. i still feel optimistic. apart from improvign the track, PH also shd give some attention on promoting the show.

apart from few promos there are no promos at al. new show like BI is promoted in other channels like zoom. MB promotion is not happening evn in colors. AS, can get them to do a live chat in NF or give some OLV or somethign to keep the buzz live.

bt the major thing to be focused shd be d story. if not for good story we will nto have good show.

hope AS does the needful.
