Autistic kids may not be social but are intelligent and no wonder Madhu is doing wonders in her acting career so much that now the career has brought her the person which made it possible for her !!

Now I wanna see, how u are gonna take it between a superficial superstar and autistic methodical actor 😉..continue soon

a note about autism: not all persons with autism are high functioning i.e. not all of them are the conventional definition of a genius. the lower end of the spectrum (which is where Madhu is) have what we describe as severe developmental disabilities. they often cannot operate independently, do not develop language, display psychomotor symptoms, and average sociability is impossible for them. however, they are known to have one (useful or not) special ability such as a knack for mathematics. so, autism =/= sheldon cooper. in fact, in this case, it is far from it.

you answered yourself. there are many kinds of love. this kind is the one not easily digestible by society. it isn't quite passionate, companionate, or familial. it sits somewhere in the middle. and we as people are uncomfortable with things that do not fit into our neat little boxes. hence the title.

hope that helps

Thank you ..it did help !! Guess I did confuse it with dyslexia to certain extent...well it's not an excuse though lol..but yeah this made me go through autism...now one more question...since u are telling that Madhu is in the lower spectrum...how could she indulge in methodical acting which not even many indian actors follow and only few Hollywood actors have known to practice it for ex: Al Pacino, jack Nicholson etc !! Nope am not challenging ...trying here to understand n comprehend that's all !!

Well my prev question was actually are there any types in love ?? Now I get it...what u actually mean with that title hehe !!

Thanks again, now I know more about Autism 😃😛 !!

Wow...you actually send out pms 😲..I thought otherwise 😉..then do add me to your pm list 😛

the special talents are usually very specific things and often beyond the scope non-autistic intelligence. I would argue that her talent would exceed those of non-autistic actors. I don't see why this isn't a possibility. I have done some background research on the topic which you can access in the comments before yours.

Chapter 1: Starstruck
Rishabh Kundra sat in the corner seat of a Seattle Football pub, his manager shuffling through piles of papers looking for one particular document that might attract the disinterested looking actor. R.K., as they called Rishabh in the movies, was the kind of man you don't easily forget once you catch a look. So he had to be extra cautious coming out in public on days like today. He was dressed in all black with a kohl woollen scarf up to his chin. His scruff and newly grown mustache were doing a decent job of hiding his good looks. But a clever eye could pick out the muscle of his body even through the dull monotonous clothing he wore. His eyes were fixated on the door and scanning its perimeter waiting for a special appearance.

And soon, the elusive patron arrived. She came without an entourage, much to the surprise (and delight) of RK. Surprise because he had heard stories about how scary her PR managers could be in protecting their money making star. That time when the TMZ paparazzi had to ride in a cop car when trying to snap pictures of the actress' home were a legend in the town of New York. Why would Seattle be any different?

But today was his lucky day. Hence his delight.
A cheerful looking waiter greeted her as soon as she arrived.

"How are you tonight Miss Malik?"
"Swell! Working the night, eh Ronnie?"

Rishabh observed two things about this situation: the waiter paid special attention to this patron that he did the others. Two, she called him by name and their conversation reflected acquaintance. This could only mean she was a regular at the establishment. Then again, it made sense considering Malik was open about her autism.

She sat down in a wooden chair in the centre right of the pub, opposite the bar. A low hanging lamp lit her red moleskin journal and she was soon in deep focus, hunched over her diary writing away at light speed. Her body language was all too closed, giving off the telltale tales signs that she did not wish to be disturbed. But Rishabh did not let that discourage him. He'd come here with every intention of wooing the lady and if that meant humiliating himself to get her to talk, so be it.

He cleared his throat once, then again until his manager glared at him in an odd manner.
"Boss, do you need mint candy for that itch?" The middle aged man jokingly asked.

"Thank the stars you are not a comedian Bittuji". Rishabh only said that but even he could afford a smile at his pitiful state then.

"Go up to her already. Or, do you want he to do it?" Said Bittuji.

"The best you can do at this age is get your bald spot fixed, old man". Rishabh threw one back and felt quite happy with himself.

Bittu rubbed his balding head and grabbed the last strands of hairs in shame. "Alright, don't f**k it up!" He cheered him on.

"Here we go", he inhaled in as much air as his lungs would allow and headed toward Malik.

"Excuse me, Miss Malik?"

"Miss Malik. Miss Malik" Madhu's echolalia began and the young waiter from earlier stepped in to help.

"I am sorry sir. She appreciates it if strangers do not approach her when she is working. The regulars and all her fans know about this habit. I assume you do not belong to those categories so I understand if you didn't know. Would you please follow me and we can talk elsewhere". He smiled a wide smile trying to relay to the dumbfounded actor every sign that he was not welcome near Madhubala.

"No, I can't leave. I won't leave. I absolutely have to talk to Madhubala". Rishabh put his foot down. But after a few seconds he realized he was the subject of scrutiny from the entire pub. The regulars were glaring at him like hawks at fresh meat, ready to tear him to pieces. How dare this stranger bother their favorite star!

"She's got quite the fan following!" Rishabh smiled pointing at the angry mob.

"Leave her alone", a large framed man shouted and raced toward him. Rishabh ducked and the man stopped close to him. "Any good natured person in America knows when to back off. She isn't comfortable with strangers so buzz off before I make you".
So that is what they meant by crazy fans. All the commotion had made Madhu very anxious. She sat in her chair in a fetal position, shivering in her fear. The waiter put her coat around her and slid her out the side door. Rishabh followed them quickly, afraid to be eaten alive by the scary looking fan.

Well that's a horrible start. Not your chapter but for Rishabh. If he knew about her autism you would think he would have done some homework. He assumed he could just charm her and it would work. Let's see what he does next. Good job!
