In normal situation it might look weird but here JM has neither seen his father ever nor been grown up with her parents.

So I dont mind at all romancing her to her father's look alike and at the end of the day this is a fiction show 😛

completely agree with you. this whole look a like debate is just nonsence of some paranoid people.
i wrote the same thing in another similar topic--

doesn't a girl look for her father's qualities in her would be...doesn't a girl considers her father as her hero?
so what is wrong if jr madhu falls for a person who is just a look a like of her father. she has not even seen her father...she didn't get chance to know her father...she never lived with him n neither has any attachment or memory of him. so why can't she marry someone who just happens to resemble his father's face?
jr madhu is also look a like of her mother n AK was good 20 year old when mummy madhu was alive. everyone went crazy for heroine madhu at that time...so Ak being a teenager that time mmight have admired senior heroine madhu also...but now he is marrying her daughter...so if its not wrong in his case then how can it be wrong in jr madhu's case?

completely disagree girls like boys who posses characteristics of their DAD only qualities not a completely look like...it will absurd we can always defend Madhu saying she never saw her father so her falling in love with look like is possible...but u can't generalise this because it can directly fall in category of incest ...any way above post completely my POV so anyone feeling offended is not my concern at all

Then the freudian/oedipus complex cannot justify this "romance", because in order for you to like a person like your father you need to have looked at and interacted with the person. Besides whether its a new character or not, the person looks the same, its a carbon copy, not someone who shares the same qualities of the original. So this complex does not fit the category of the romance, more so cannot be used in reference to this romance. Just my opinion from what I know of the principle.
