I don't know whether I should be happy/ anxious/angry or hopeful after reading chap 19 and 20...RK's repentance...well that was something we all were longing for from the time he started making Madhu suffer...but after reading through chap 19 I was kind of numb...may be need some time to accept it...
But the most brilliant thing in chap 19 was the last line Madhu told herself...so now it is no more her love vs RK's indifference...it's Madhu vs Madhu...a battle against herself...god you are a gifted writer TK to have conceived and put in words such a feeling...kudos to youWhile reading through chap 20 for a moment I skipped a heart beat...with the mention of the rat poison, n knowing about Madhu's sleep I apprehended may be she had already drunk the poison...but thanks to you for not making it so grim...now there are two Madhus in this story...one who is soft and vulnerable, letting her love and care for RK wash over her excruciating pain...and the other Madhu, a silent observer, waiting to be hit again and see to the end of it...

I didn't think anyone would get the duality in Madhu's character that got seeded here. It was so...subtle. Even I didn't have words to express it or explain it at this point how he innocent naive Madhu split herself into two parts to survive. I thought it would come out in the subtext of later chapters, but the way you caught it and put it in words...oh God. You are super amazing. Take a bow.
