Could be the person who recognises her used to read the news, crew member from the film as well, Madhu Senior was in the news for Padmini's arrest for Balraj's death, When she was ditched by RK, again her photo was in the news for the 4 phere shaddi, RK's arrest for killing an underworld don Sultan the love triangle was splashed all over the news with all 3 pictures, Dipali had Madhu's picture with RK put in the newspaper for the intimate scenes in the film. Lots of opportunities for people to see who Madhu was to make that first film of hers a hit, Madhu's birthday all those young teenagers saw her and asking for a picture with her in the restaurant, the chawl where she grew up she had fans from there, so might be any of those fans and people that were watching the news and writing the news (reporters etc) could recognise her face.

But if you still think it's illogical for all those people to remember her face then in Madhubala illogical things are shown and passed off as plausible reasons why things happen the way they do.

As u have mentioned the reporters of 20 years back will not be still the reporters, they also must have grown above in the cadder, Sr.Madhu was in the highlight in Mumbai papers, it is not a compulsion that the same news will be published in Mathura, there r some local topics, for the local news. Jr.Madhu's picture was published in Mathura news which will not be circulate in Mumbai, so the chances r very February.e for her to be recognised in Mathura. Now that she is in Mumbai, it she comes in the spotlight than there is a scope of getting recognised.

No I said in Mumbai (they are saving it for there and not Mathura) she will be working in Sales right, there a customer or her boss/elder work colleague would recognise her face from her mothers time, leading her to be curious to ask Bittuji or do a little research herself. The person that recognises her could be a fan of her mothers or a reporter that wrote all those stories (during Rishbala's era) that reporter can be a customer where Madhu's working.
