Madhubala... Ek ishq! Ek junoon! Epic love story of two flawed characters.. Obsessive, consuming love of a arrogant, selfish guy for an innocent beautiful girl and vice versa.. This was the love story I signed up for..
Two people entirely different from each other, guy battling his demons, fighting the inner insecurities, jealousy.. Girl making him a better person, and her existence being consumed into this relationship..
I didn't have any problem watching this love story despite the unwedding and whatever brewed between the two,, because I am not watching a social film regarding woman in society.. But still there has to be a limit..
Now a man who was hopelessly obsessed with his wife, depicted almost as unhinged in many instances with those Tum meri ho chants!! Suddenly, doesn't care about her existence.. One who wanted her to only belong to him states that they can't be together anymore.. Not only that, a man who ignored the existence of any other woman in his life, will suddenly be attracted to another woman..
Sorry guys, please dont try to defend RK's stance here.. attraction is not always physical!! A married man impressed by another woman beyond a limit is never acceptable! That too a man who once made tall claims about loving his wife, who gave all the rights on him to a woman, he claimed to hate!!
This is not RK.. The jealousy, insecurity, aggression are still RK's traits.. But a random girl sits in his car, frequently running into him,. The CVs have ruined RK's main trait, that was the biggest attraction for the show,, what defined this show..!!
As an RK fan, and RM fan.. I am thoroughly disgusted.. And I am sure many people who watched the show for RK's junoon for madhu are equally annoyed...
Now, even if everything gets better, I would still find this love story distasteful.. I hope before the CVs could show anything beyond, the TRPs plummet.. I just want the show to end before they ruin the memories of RK's junoon for Madhu..
If they had shown a girl trying to lure RK, while he is still obsessed with his wife.. We would have given the track a chance.. But a woman has to go begging for her husband.. Bullcrap! This does not leave any room for ishq or junoon in the story..
If we wanted to watch a straying husband, we could have demanded Mohan Kundra's track.. Or another show titled mera pati sirf mera hai kinda crap..
But this is madhubala ek ishq, ek junoon.. So if after so much junoon n ishq, a man is attracted to random girls and woman goes begging for her husband.. It's highly shameful.. Marks the end of meiej for me..
Will be on the forum, still read WU for the sake of my love for RK n RM lost somewhere in the maker's clunk.. But I am not willing to watch a character like RK who reads through people being attracted to a random woman, while giving two hoots to his maid err Madhu (ex ishq n junoon) making parathas for him...😡
A big BOO to the CVs.. For their lack of creativity.. Who didn't know how to wrap the show with grace.!! They have proved that they are incapable of churning out engaging tracks..!! I hope the show meets its fate soon..
That was my opinion.. No need to jump ur guns if u don't agree..
