If he had wanted abortion because of his public image I would have hated him and justified him being beaten with a stick.

That is why also I am differentiating between a live 8 month old pregnancy and a single cell which cannot hear or feel.

PS: Dont you think writing 'we should agree to disagree' and a closing 'Thanks' after giving your arguments is equal to saying that I shall have the final word. 😊

Anyways this shall be my last post here.😊 Thanks & Bye.

@ Bold ...I didnt see any point continuing with the arguments when we are on different planes ...but if it was some sort of war for u to prove ur point, u can think whatever pleases u l !I m not the one to judge u or anyone else here !

Thanks ( for commenting )

On a side note, I dont live this show unlike those who are ultra sensitive to every trivial thing shown or for characters ...I felt a bit strongly on this issue, so made a post ...it was not to change anyone's POV for anything !

but wht do u say of ppl who are told that their baby might be born wth some kind of disablity, go fo r abortion. becos they dont wnt d kid to be born with disability n suffer. so they abort it. it islike d baby is not perfectly made so it ends up aborted. is htat right?

in RK's case it is not physical disability more of financial n may be father's paralysis. bt end thing is his world is not perfect so he does not wnt d baby. so is he wrong?

or shdn't we equate physical disability iwht financial stability?

becos this is one issue i had my differneces.

I agree Priya ...abortion is one controversial and sensitive issue ...His world is not perfect but isint a try worth enough ? ...Fathers are practical but that doesnt mean motherly bonding can be dealt with mere arguments ...this is where I felt RK was wrong and he perhaps didnt expect things to turn out this way ...It was to be discussed in a patient manner instead of riding on impulse !

Well said Shruti..I'd say tht parents should be responsible enuf to plan their baby rather than face this kind of a situation where they have to think of abortion...Madhu was working as his heroine when she have conceived so they were being foolish and impractical to not take precautions 😆..I personally am very much against it..in some circumstances, couples have to abort their children , to each their own...

I am not saying RK will feel happy after abortion.. NO he wont.. he will also feel the pain...but its nothing when compared to the pain of Madhu who has already stared living a mother's life... as you mentioned in your post Abortion should be the last option not the first.. that too should be a mutual decision...

Good post Nids...

Agree with that pennu wrote above.. Abortion is the last option...Well RK is going to recover now so hopefully the issue of abortion will be close..

Agree with you. RK not even thinking of any other option before voicing abortion is in a very bad taste for me. That should be last option if at all but not certainly first option.
I do not call it practical , I call it loser attitude . Practicaldmeans trying to solve the problem not latching onto easiest option available.

What if the heroine was not producers wife , would have RK he have dared to raise the question to heroine. Just because it is his wife and child , he felt he could excercize that option.

I actually do agree with you , I wish Rk had at least tried something before coming to a conclusion , at least talked and thought of other options rather than abortion , I know he makes sense saying all his points and yeah it's right what je saying but still aborting is not right

Both of them are right in their views so lets see and good post

if it was any other heroine, RK cud have sued her bec. usually, there is a specific "no pregnancy" clause in the contract...but both the producer and the heroine didn't feel the need to plan the baby so they don't have any scapegoat this time 😆

Sorry to say but this is not the first and easiest option, this is the last option to salvage the otherwise non profit making venture..a flop director, RK's role reduced to a cameo, pregnant heroine , debutant heroine centric movie , the movie may work bec. MC says so and Madhubala is starring in it but since RK may be ruined if the film doesn't recover it's investments, he has to take some tough decisions...nobody loses anything except RK, ab toh Madhu ne bhi palla jhaad liya...aur ab toh MC, after making the movie heroine centric, changing the script , ye chahiye ye nahi, has passed the buck to RK to sell the film and market it ! 😆
