When Madhu was talking of her love definition to ' you know who' , among other things , she told RKs love is of the kind where he removes the shadow of the person he loves n puts his own shadow on it (sth of this sort). Now isn't this what Madhu desires? RK ki biwi hi meri pehchaan which means that she wants to live under his shadow!!! Quite ironical it is..

Note: I am kinda late to this party so please forgive if this sounds redundant. I haven't had a chance to read any reviews yet. Just watched the epi.
There is time to charge and time to retreat in any situation. Charging does not guarantee victory and retreat does not signify defeat. Madhu chose not retaliate to her public humiliation by RK. Instead she files that one away for now and goes back to the studio to finish the shooting. She does tweak the scene a little bit to serve dual purpose. According to me, that was the best compromise to finish KC. Scene bhi ho jaye aur madhu ka vrat bhi khul jaye. Madhu did not cry buckets, did try to initially reason with RK but when he point blank refuses to talk, she executes her plan with MC's help. MC's selfishness here in going along with Madhu's plan is to finish the shift without any more packups.

Why do we expect this year's KC to be a feel-good like last one? Last year RK was happy-go-lucky to leisurely manaofy Madhu in style. This year he is under the gun, totally focused on his film and he doesn't have time to do KC-2. He means business and expects the same from Madhu without him having to spell it out for her. All his talk about keeping scores I feel is just his paranoia talking. He is egging Madhu on to leave Biwi ka role not because he is expecting Madhu to take acting full time using this movie as launch pad. His focus is narrow just for his film now. He is just getting paranoid by all the shoot cancels and the delays happening. Being the producer now, he feels the financial loss acutely and is not ready to sustain any more. It is his firm belief that Madhu can't have her cake and eat it too.

Each person handles things uniquely their own way. Just because RK wants to have single minded focus just on films does not mean Madhu should do the same. She is asking him to trust her to do things her way. As long as she completes her scenes, shows up on time why is RK bothered about what her identity is or should be? Who is he to decide that? Madhu alone has the right to decide what her identity is or will be just like RK too has that own right. Time and again Madhu has made it clear to RK, what her stance is. She is not pretending anything. She is getting bewildered why RK is hellbent on molding her into something she is not.

Different points of views and beliefs are good and necessary for any healthy partnership. What is not good is the inability to strike the middle ground. Trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole results either in breaking the hammer or the peg. What is important?hammer or the peg?

Regarding MC - He talks to RK as a director to the producer. He talks to Madhu as director to the actor and that is how it should be. His last negligent comment to Madhu about RK was just careless. Like any outsider who is not privy to RM's equation, he just wonders aloud how can any woman care for RK after what all he did to her publicly. He is just basing his opinion on what he has read/seen so far. He is neither's confidant to make any informed observations, at least not yet.
Yes he has got a tiny dose of Madhu's stubbornness (in getting him as director and putting herself up as RK's heroine) however he has no clue yet as to how crazy this couple really is. 😆

The movie, Ishq Ek Junoon is a manifestation of RM feelings for each other. RM don't just act in it, they live their respective roles and events.

The dining table scene in the movie shoot where Karan mentioned that he had prepared the food for Anamika was reminiscent of the scene when RK had infact cooked for Madhu with Bji in an earlier episode.

The rehearsal at home and the subsequent shoot for Rasiya song was fiction imitating their reality.

RK was expressing his genuine feelings for Madhu even while shooting (viewing her picture in the Friday episode) since he appeared to come out of a different world when MC said cut.

The breaking of KC fast during the movie shoot was blending of their reality into fiction.

Agree with you, this is all going to be so fascinating to watch when RM don the garb of K-A and when they switch back into their normal mode.

ETA - Even more intriguing is the fact that RM are playing the opposite of what they really are. Anamika is way more modern in her approach when compared to Madhu's traditional outlook. On the other hand, Karan in the movie is more traditional than RK and is able to walk Anamika through the various steps of performing the KC pooja.

Yes Anita, this is intriguing..bec. many times Madhu will be doing/saying a lot of things, through Anamika, which we want Madhu to do..she's spunky, headstrong while Karan has a heart, he's emotional which RK is not...it's kind of a role reversal for RM ..

i just noted tht this is my 20,000th message 😲 itni bak bak..

@all, amazing reviews..MM, Anita, Najat, Kashish..Maria 🤗 awesome review...Amritha 🤗thanks for being there..

Sorry for spamming MAS

on KC, poora tayyar hokar he had come , with open hair , but sadly , nobody noticed him..😆

jokes apart, we were expecting too much frm him I guess..he shares a professional relation with RK and RK respects him bec. of this very attitude..work means work...over the time, may be, he develops a bond with both RK and Madhu, but a different kind of bond with both...RK ka kaan pakadke he can get things done from him, he can talk to him in his language ...He appreciates many qualities in Madhu ...haan but I don't like it that he's all praises for Madhu and if he has any complaint from her, MC reprimands RK for it & asks him to fix it ...I think he was genuinely joking with her yest...

there were a few articles which said that Sanchita will be a mother figure to Madhu but nothing of this sort is happening...i dunno why the CV's fail to create strong supporting characters..Now Simmy has gone missing (not that i'm complaining) ...

MM, it was a pleasure to read your complete post even though I am quoting just 2 paragraphs above...👏👏👏.

I might be generalizing here but have often felt that men, on an average, tend to focus on one thing at a time. They lay emphasis on the completion of one task and move on to the other only after accomplishing the first one. If true, RK's insistence of Madhu focusing on being a heroine only might be characteristic of his gender.

Women, on the other hand, tend to be multi-taskers, on an average again. They can handle varied tasks at one go. If true, Madhu appears to be in character also with her insistence to focus on both the home and work front.

Understandably, we have a clash of wills, support vs. skepticism, anger vs. love, and a change in RM relationship - love has been replaced by 'hisaab kitaab' and a nonsensical belief in competition.

"A great marriage is not when the perfect couple comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences" - Dave Meurer

Can I then hope that the shoot of KC scene reflected RK's real emotions and that he will realize his mistake soon?

@MM, single minded focus on the film doesn't mean that they don't have a personal life..what he meant was that on the sets, they have to give their 100% and there, Madhu should not bring the issues of her personal life, which she's been doing every single day...the first day she was zoned out bec. something happened at home, phir rat wali pooja phir Radha upset bec. of the pics and now KC...ab if Madhu is upset due to any xyz reason, she will have to shoot, if Madhu suffers a personal loss, she will have to shoot, if she has to fulfill her responsibilities as a bahu and wife,if she has health issues, so on and so forth, once she's on the set, she has to be Anamika not Madhu...actors do have a tough life bec. it's not a 9 to 5 job, and there is no escape..

now when he was doing pack ups, throwing tantrums on his film sets , we called him unprofessional now when he's focusing on his movie, we have a problem with that too..Isn't he suffering a lot bec. he mixed his personal life with his professional life? the only problem is that RK is expecting wonders from Madhu, he'll have to give her sometime to adjust to this new life..

I think after a night of reflection on RM's problems😆 I see whats the main bone of contention between them. RK is already under external pressure due to his career prospects and additional duties as producer. In this circumstance, his wife who has taken it upon herself to lighten his burden, is not in fact easing the tension n pressure on him. Her adamance n insistence on wanting to fulfill both her personal and professional commitments, is piling more pressure on him. He said as much, when she tried talking to him in the make up room after the Pooja. As a husband I'm sure he feels torn between trying to understand what's important to her personally and meeting the demands of his profession, Director, team etc. He can only juggle only so many balls in the air. He does not want to get involved in family politics too, he warned his family off and wants to leave it at. But Madhu wont give it a rest and as a husband either he has to stand by her or ask her to walk away from all the mess for a while, which of course she wont. In short he expects her to understand his problem and consider it as her own, like an ideal couple. Instead Madhu is still behaving as if she is only there to help him in his problem, but the problem is still his. She is here doing a favor that too against her wishes. Madhu might be confident that she can do it both, but is forgetting that she can't do so without RK's support and understanding. In her fervor, she is not unburdening him, but on some level making him feel ineffective as a producer and uncaring as a husband. He also knows Pabbo is unhappy bcoz of the stand he had to take for his wife and we all know she's important to him too. This is making him even more grouchy n irritable.
The middle ground for RK is not to go out of his way to create more problems for a stubborn Madhu, like the lunch scene. double shift and all. And maybe not expect her to forget her identity as his wife entirely.Which is impossible to do and highly impractical too. Madhu needs to grow up, forget trying to appease the drama queens n bitches on the home front and make RK's problem her own. Her priorities will change on their own when that happens.
