Both Rishbala were enjoying the function. It was a sangeet function of one of Madhu's friends. RK saw Madhu sitting beside the bride and chatting happily. He saw her so much happy and smiling for the first time in his life. Seeing her smile automatically a smile formed in his lips. He went towards and sat beside her. Mahdu though surprised at first did not say anything which in turn surprised RK since she was always angry if she saw him around herself. He slowly tugged Madhu and asked, "Waise Madhu, main jaha tak jaanta hoon tum to kaafi acchi dancer ho na? To apni dost ki sangeet mein dance nahi karogi??"

M- Kyun? Tum chahte ho ki main dance karoon??

RK- Ab mere chahne na chahne se kya fark padhta hai. Mujhe laga ki tumhe karna chahiye to maine kaha...

Madhu smiled sweetly and got up to the host of the function. She took the mic and announced, "Kripya dhyan dijiye, kyunki yeh meri saheli Amrita ki sangeet hai to nach gaana to banta hai na? Aap sab mere honewale pati Premjee ko to jaante hi hai na, humare hi gaon ke bete hain, woh bohot accha gaana gaate hai. To meri iccha hai ki woh ek sangeet pesh kare." Everybody clapped while RK looked horrifiedly. RImjhim whispered, "Aur pehnaao saree, ab gaana gaao jaake saree ke fall sa ..."

RK looked at Shamsher and requested not to make him sing. But Shamsher and others were adamant on making him sing. Madhu smirked evilly at RK but to her surprise instead of being nervous RK smirked back at her and got up from his seat. Madhu sat back and all the lights were dimmed. RK started singing,

Choon liya tune, lab se aankho ko

Mannate poori tumse hi

Tu mile jaha mera jahaan hai waha

Raunake saari tumse hi (x2)

Piya ore Piya, Piya re piya re Piya...(x2)

Madhu was shocked as she never knew that RK was such a good singer. A smile automatically fromed on her face as she heard him singing. He had a soulful voice. Madhu was feeling a little uncomfortable as RK was looking at her and singing. Somewhere in her heart, Madhu was feeling as if he is singing for her.

Inn dooriyon ne nazdikiyon se

Sauda koi kar liya

Jhook ke nigahoon ne dil se ishq ka

Wada koi kar liya.

RK was about to sing the next lines as well which were of female but to his surprise someone sang in a sweet voice. At first he thought it may be Rimjhim or some other girl but he was shocked to see Madhu singing. He never knew that she is equally good singer apart from being a good dancer. Madhu had her eyes lowered and sang the lines:

Main wari jawa, Main wari jawa

Saathon ki hoya ve kasoor ve

Sau Sau taaron se bharke yeh daaman

Le chal mujhe kahi door...

RK came near Madhu and forwarded his hand. She slowly gave her hand and got up from her seat. RK continued to sing the next lines:

Piya ore Piya, Piya re Piya re Piya...

RK placed his hand on Madhu's waist and both started to sway on the tunes of the song. They completely forgot their surroundings. Their eyes were locked and for them it became as if only they were present and no one else.

Koi kami si thi jeene mein

Jaana yeh humne kaha

Aaise mile ho jaise hum pe

ho meherbaan yeh khuda

Madhu was feeling like bliss. She had never felt like this before. It felt so sweet to dance with RK. For the first time she blushed thinking that she was dancing so closely with the most handsome man (Just imagine RK's looks during the first Karwachauth time) she had ever seen for the second time.

Saathon ki hoya ve kasoor ve

Rab di marzi hai apna yeh milna

Barsa hai humpe uska noor.

RK pulled Madhu and they ended their dance with the famous RK pose (obviously). Everybody clapped and then they came back to their senses. They parted and went to their respective seats

Madhu was blushing heavily. She did not know what was happening. Today she was blushing excessively. She was even feeling happy for she could dance with Rk yet again. RK came and sat beside her. He told her, "Mujhe nahi pata tha ki tumhe itni acchi singing aati hai."

M- Thanks. Actually mujhe bhi nahi pata tha ki tumhe bhi aati hai.

RK- Madam, Abhi bohot kuch aaisa hai jot um mere bare mein nahi jaanti ho...Don't worry shaadi baad hum dheere dheere ek doosre ko jaan lenge. Haina??

Madhu rolled her eyes at him. At first she got irritated with his shaadi talks but now really it seemed so cute. Suddenly she saw Shamsher announcing something.

S- Main sabse pehle Amrita ko bohot badhai dena chahunga uski nayi zindagi ke liye. Issi ke saath main aap sabke saath ek khoos khabri baatna chahta hoon. Woh yeh hai ki kal meri beti Madhu ki sagaai hai humare hi gaon ke bte Prem ke saath. Prem ke gharwale abhi yaha hai nahi issiliye shaadi ek do mahine baad hi hogi par main sagaai kal hi karwana chahta hoon. Prem beta tumhe koi aitraaz to nahi hai na?

RK- Woh, nahi uncle koi problem nahi...par ekbaar Madhu se..

S- Madhu se kya puchna beta wo waise bhi raazi hi hai...Hai na Madhu???

Madhu just nodded her head. Getting engaged was not what was making her tensed but some other reason was there which did not go unnoticed by RK. So when he saw her finally alone after getting congratulated by everyone, he asked her, "Madhu, tum itni pareshaan kyun ho?"

M- Nahi to sab thik hai...I am fine...

As he left noddng, Rimjhim asked her the same question. Madhu again denied saying everything was fine but Rimjhim asked her again, "Madhu, tu sabse jhoot nbol sakti hai par mujhse nahi...pls bata kya hua hai? Ky atu iss engagement se khush nahi hai?

M- Yeh baat nahi hai Rimjhim. Main yeh saoch rahi thi ki kal iss engagement ke baad mera aur RK ka ek rishta jud jayega. Main nahi jaanti yeh baatein tere ya RK ke liye koi maaine rakhti bhi hai ya nahi par sach kahoon to sagaai se bhi ek rishta janmon ke liye jud jaat hai. Aur jab aage jaake yeh jhootha rishta tut jayega to...

R- To kya??

M- Main nahi jaanti, samjah mein nahi aa raha. Sirf yeh baat sochke ki aage jaakar mere aur RK ke iss rishte ki koi value hi nahi hogi muhhe accha nahi lag raha. Matlab shayad main...

R- Shayad tu RK se rishta todna nahi chahti..

M- Kya?? Yeh tu kya keh rahi hai?

R- Haan Madhu, tu RK se rishta todna nahi chahti, aur teri iss mushkil ka hal bhi hai mere paas.

M- Kya?

R- RK se shaadi kar le...

M- Yeh tu kya keh rahi hai? Ek to woh meri madad ko aaya aur tu keh rahi hai ki main...

R- Madhu, RK tujhse pyaar karta hai.

Madhu was shocked. Its not that she never understood that he was openly flirting with her but she never took it to be serious.

M- Tu sach keh...

R- mujhe tujhse jhooth bolke kya fayda hai?? RK ne kabhi confess nahi kiya par sach kahoon uski aankhon mein dikhta hai, maine dekha hai. Warna tu soch, use kya padi thi teri madad karne ki? Woh kyun aaya tujhe iss shaadi se bachane ko? Woh jaanta tha ki uski jaan ko bhi khatra ho sakta hai par fir bhi usne teri madad ki. Aur tu hi sochna Madhu, woh kitna accha ladka hai, itna helpful, itna accha behaviour, tujhe bohot khush rakhega woh Madhu, bas use ek chance to de.

M- Par agar use koi prob hua to...

R- Agar use koi problem hota to pehle woh yaha nahi aat, samjhi? Aur kya main yeh samajh loon kit u iss shaadi ke liya...

Madhu blushed and nodded a yes. Rimjhim was about to exclaim in happiness when Madhu said, "Abhi kissi se kuch mat kehna, main khud usse baat karoongi. Ok?"

R- Ok baby, anything for you...

Madhu was very happy the next day. It was not a big ceremony just a simple one. Madhu, dressed in a saree, without RK's help obviously came and sat beside RK. He looked a bit tensed. Madhu could understand his awkwardness. They were waiting to start the ceremony but Shamsher told them, "Abhi thodi der aur ruk jaao woh aata hi hoga."

M- Kaun baba??

S- hai koi, jisse dekhkar tu to bohot khush honewali hai.

Madhu started to think who it could be...
