Episode 405 Discussion: 17th Oct 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

I enjoyed today. For several reasons, seeing the

Love and tenderness between RM. Exceptional and touching.
Roma's concern and recognition of the devoted relationship that RM share
Radhaji and her love and concern for Madhu
Radhaji confronting (in her own meek way) Pabbho
Pabbho going one step too far with Radhaji (showing her true colors)
RK wising up to the fact that Pabbho is the one behind Madhu's temple sojourns

The episode itself...

Roma smiles when Madhu entreats her not to tell RK about her injuries. Probably remembering RK's words not to tell Madhu about the fire. Loved Roma's concern about how Madhu would dance. However, Madhu looks upbeat and puts up a brave front.
OTT Mummy and simpering Simmy. Mummy trying to employ her coquettish charms on RK. This is really getting on my nerves.
RK is saved by Madhu. Who shows up looking drop dead gorgeous. She starts rehearsing with RK, and finally has to take a break, walking away. I thought it was a very sweet and tender moment when RK sees her bloody footsteps, and calls for pack-up. Gently leading Madhu out, without saying anything about her foot.
Pabbho-Dips. Pabbho is upset that Madhu completed the nivaaran. In the mean time, Dips is excited because she thinks Madhu will not be able to dance, and this will put the kibosh on Madhu's film career. Pabbho wants to know where all that indomitable spirit that Madhu displays comes from. She aint seen nothing yet...
Pabbho - what a complete witch. She asks RK about the fire, whether he is ok, and does not even spare a glance for Madhu. Contrasted by a loving, appalled Radhaji who shows overwhelming concern, promptly calls for medicine etc. Loved the way she addressed Madhu 'beta'
Radhaji pleads with Pabbho to stop her torture (my words.) And when Pabbho declares that the fire was because of Madhu, Radhaji argues that in the fact, the fact that it wasn't worse was because of Madhu's prayers. Pabbho makes a tactical mistake, and hits real low - tells Radhaji that RK doesn't call her mother (rubs it in) but doesn't mean she forgets her motherly duty. Poor Radhaji runs out sobbing. Am hoping this all turns around spectacularly at some point soon.
Loved the scene where RK is lovingly tending to Madhu's wounds. Aww. The pain and tears in his eyes. Both of them ask each other why the other has hidden information from the other - understanding why the other did it.
RK figures out that Madhu is doing the temple duty at Pabbho's behest. Yes!!!

The Precap: No extra work or puja stuff for Madhu. And that means YOU, Pabbho! 😡

Side-note:

I liked the way all the supporting characters acted - even though they didn't have a "speaking role" - Bittuji, MC, the choreographer . Their expressions were all spot on.

ETA: the song, the song! How could I forget the lovely new song.

"ishq tu hi hai mera" thank you sooo much CV's for a new song for RM and it's such an amazing song..one which u can fall in love with at the first hearing itself ! it's so so so so lovely ! 👏

RK's tears on seeing Madhu's wounds...I'm sure if he gets a hint of what Pabo did, i.e. leave rats on Madhu, she'll be marching back to the matth with hter Guruji..how i wish this comes true !

the scene was so touching & I had tears in eyes , with a big smile on my face..aawww my dear RM..i gave a year to MB and it's all worth it...the time which i spent drooling over RM, fighting for them, praising them, the time which i give to EDT, it makes me so happy... I forget all my worries...n it's not just RM but the overall packaging which is just brilliant & different..I know many are not happy with the track and cribbing endlessly & celebrating the downfall of TRPs but I'm sure MB will bounce back...

DD/Madhu in that gown..gorgeous !!! no wonder sabke muh khule reh gaye..even Simi cud not stop herself frm praising Madhu..i like her actually..she's growing on me...

RK deciding to pack up and Madhu did not have to dance in such a pathetic condition...

Roma's concern for Madhu, and her smile , thinking that both of them try to hide their pain from each other..

Dipali as SM..she's brilliant ! 👏

Radha in support of Madhu ..I said it before also that she should be given more screen space...she's not assertive but she's the voice of the audience..she and RK both...

RK nursing Madhu's wound and the big big surprise..the new song for RM..loved it completely ! it gives a whole new dimension to RM's relationship ! 👏

RK guessing it correct that Pabo asked Madhu to perform a pooja...

what i detested..

Pabo ! who else ! I wish RK knew how much poison she's brewing inside her for Madhu..calling her yeh ladki and getting happy to think tht she cud not shoot bec. s he was bitten by rats..on the top of it, she had the guts to taunt Radha tht Rishu is not talking to her...Plz CV's , we want poetic justice for Pabo...Radha should become like Pabo and Pabo like Radha..RK should give her silent treatment for the rest of her life & also, take away honor of calling herself RK's "ma" 🤢

I wanted to pull RM into a tight hug today 🤗 Ah, my lovelies!! Keep loving each other like this always ❤️ 😃

The sheen of moisture in RK's eyes makes up for all the Paabho torture ⭐️ And then he cleans Madhu's wounds oh so tenderly and gives first aid As long as these two understand each other so perfectly and never lose faith in each other, a hundred Paabhos can't harm them 👍🏼

Speaking of the evil witch, she isn't satisfied with torturing RK's wife that now she has started taunting his mother too?! RK may not call Radha his Ma but he will be there for her always. Unlike you Madam, who will be sent packing from his house and his life the day he finds out how Madhu actually got those wounds 😡

Is the song really an original one for MB? 😛 I didn't pay much attention to it as I the visuals were so appealing 😳 Will pay attention on the re-watch (the episode is sure worth a re-watch). Good to have another song exclusively for our RM 👏

PS. Prasad Gavandi is back as director! Please don't change him now Mr. Tewari!!

After quite some time, in Mbverse, we got to see a beautiful RM love scene

The emotional undercurrents between the two, the understanding, the love, the hurt, the pain,the tenderness... It was well written and enacted...

And wow, bonus mein I got a RK who understood that Paabo's the real culprit behind the pooja,etc... This is the RK I want- a sensible guy whose dimaag ke ghodes run at the right speed and one who can connect the dots when it is staring right on his face..

Precap: I should wait for the entire scene to play out but by the looks of it , I see that RK is handling it very sensitively(the way it should be) and not being brash about the whole issue!!!

Charu, she is too engrossed in her own ego and jealousy that she is not seeing anything at all...

Her whole character comes with the clunk as to many issues in RK's past as we discussed in an EDT few days back... Now that they have effectively turned her over to the other side, can they just clear up the air about RK's past with an explanation that Paabo never cared to force a recon between the mom-son duo coz she got to play the vicarious mother and she got RK all to herself and whom she could control..

Today she taunted Radha as well.. that was kinda below the belt...

I wish RK had listened to that... He would have got bhadkaoed all the more... No one has a right to behave rudely with his mom, even Madhu... toh Paabo kya cheez hai...

That way he doesn't give a leeway for any of his loved ones to talk ill about his other loved ones

He can behave good, bad any way with them but they should behave in an affectionate manner with each other😃

@Charu: Have fun at the vacation😃

ETA: It was a rat bite and they are all treating it as if Madhu fell and got hurt... A doc needs to be consulted asap.. It's a rodent after all I guess am asking for too much logic in an epi from these CV's

Someone please hang some limboo and black thread at the entrance of their bedroom...Unki nazar utharo koi. I want some deadly mantra put on that entrance so that in future if either Pabo or Dipali decide to disgrace that room by their presence, the moment they enter, tatkal jal kar raakh ho jaye wahin ke wahi. 😡

Pabo's real low belt vicious attack methinks should be exactly what the doctor ordered for Rji. I hope it really makes her determined to show Pabo who is the real mother of RK. I wanna see some "Viva revolucion" from Rji's side to bring her out of her pathos now. To me Rji is a saas in a true sense. She worries about Madhu first as she should. If Madhu is happy, her Rishu will be automatically happy. It's a no brainer. You are wrong Pabo.😡 Rji has the exact measure of her Rishu even though he is katti with her.

Desparate Dipali is grasping at straws literally if she thinks feet injury will make Madhu quit Rk's film. Papi atma Pabo doesn't know Dipali's track record otherwise she would not have joined hands with that panavati.

I liked that dance sequence did not go through. I mean they did not show superwoman Madhu with feet bandaged dancing like nothing is bothering her. They kept it real which is nice and is palatable.

I am immensely proud of RK today. Not only did he not create any scene when Madhu could not follow steps, he wisely called pack up for the right reason. Today his "PACK UP" call was totally justified. He is the only character in MEIEJ which has grown in leaps and bounds from how he was in the beginning. I just love you RK. You make me proud (NOT like making mommy proud, ok get that loud and clear 😡). RK correctly guessing Pabo's role behind Madhu's condition is just cherry on the top for me.

Nice episode because and only because of the sweet couple Rk-Madhu

Each one of them tried to hide their worries from the other, to which Roma smiled as she is the witness who had been requested to keep silence by both parties😊

Madhu looked very beautiful in that yellow gown with her bare shoulders, she was extremely lovely, and by the way, Rk's favorite color is yellow😉 and everyone on the sets was stunned by her beauty

Poor Madhu with her multiples wounds couldn't dance and tried to hide it, but the blood stains left behind by her bleeding feet revealed everything to everyone, Rk hasn't made her feel that he discovered she was wounded, he just took her home with sad expressions on his face (by the way he has a great control over himself lately!)

Pabbo spilled the beans about the fire,and Radha who seemed not aware of anything just called "Rishu" and Rk seeing her just went upstairs, and Radha asked Madhu why they came back so early and right after, she saw Madhu's wounds and asked her to take rest meanwhile she will bring her water and an antiseptic. Now what I couldn't understand is the delay, normally Rk loves Madhu, he cares about her so much, I expected him to ask her about the wounds in their way back home or at least order madhu to come with him upstairs even with radha there, but he just went upstairs seeing Radha, and it was till the last scene that he effectively attended to Madhu's wounds!!.

Well maybe he was waiting to be alone with her, or maybe he was waiting for her to tell him herself, seeing it that way it doesn't look weird, but I just thought that Rk being impatient- and extremely caring with Madhu would try to nurse her wounds right away and he wouldn't listen to anything before doing it!!!

By the way, I'm not complaining at all, I completely loved him attending to madhu's wounds, and I guess that drop on her foot was Rk's drop of tears and that was so sweet, he can't see her in pain because of anyone not even because of him, it was so endearing seeing him wash her feet, apply the antisceptic, and bandage the wounds😳, he looked so vulnerable in that scene, I loved it, and he figured out that Pabbo is making Madhu do all this hence the precap with him giving statement (order) that from now on Madhu will only concentrate on the film👏( this is the Rk I love😉)
