FINALLY! Yes I finally read "A Love so Pure".
It was heart breaking - in so many places - but also beautiful - again in so many places!
I think the thing that shocks me the most is the time span. Granted it would take that long to actually live out such a story but what gets me is that Madhu's love was that strong throughout.
Madhu's love never waivered. It hurt her more to stay away. She could cope with him being in love with someone else, she could cope with the insults but she could not see him in pain.
Rishab. I wanted to hit him on the head. Granted, most of the circumstances were not due to him. He was not in love with Madhu. And I cannot hate him for falling in love with Piyali or for falling apart after her death. I cannot even hate him for the words he said to Madhu as he was still in grief. But I still wanted to hit him! 😊
Radha!! Rishab nailed her good when she said Madhu was not good enough for him. There Rishab redeemed himself completely and even when he admitted he was the father of Madhu's baby to Malik and Padmini. Those two scenes where AMAZING!!!! Very well written and thought out!
Madhu's reasoning for marrying Rishab was - 😕 I have no words. She chose happiness over her ego and in the end, she won. All the love that life denied her was given back a thousand times over with Rishab's care and attention.
The romance following was sweet and passionate! Rishab's "ILU" was perfect actually! It was not cheesy or anything.
And the ending. Though I am not a fan of the name Rishab came up with, I completely agree about not naming the baby Piyali. No more looking back ...
Beautiful story Ms. Lazy! It broke my heart but then the love put it back together again!
