First a big thanks for all your comments and likes, here i came back with the next update, next one will be probably the final part.
Madhu was lazily lying on her bed and her mom was waking her up, and asking her to join to temple, but madhu being a very lazy girl, didn't respond to her mom. Padmini came and started to wake her up again and this time she succeeded in it and madhu got ready and went with padmini to temple. Her day started so nice, she was in her village, and meeting her friends after a long time. Madhu was on a 15-days off from her work. As the training got completed, all the siphai were asked to leave to their home,,as they will not be able to take a break in between once they were assigned for the work. Two days passed and madhu started to feel bored, she came and sat on the living room and watched TV. She was changing the channels and happened to see a news which shocked her to the core. The news reader read the news that there was a group of terrorist who tried to enter our border and there was a continuous firing between the terrorist and our army, and luckily there was no loss of life, but many of our army were injured, and they finally trapped 8 terrorist, but 2 of them escaped.
Madhu was so worried after hearing the news, her heart instructed her to check out whether every one is fine. But she was not clear with herself, as why she felt in such a way, and she didn't know, whom she need to call, and whom she need to check out. And then her mind striked something and she called the army office, and she asked for deepali and waited for her to come back. She was asked to call back after twenty minutes, her heart started to beat very fast,and finally after 20 mins, she called back and the phone was handed over to deepali. Madhu spoke very fast without even breathing, " Deepali, deepali, is everyone fine there, i saw in news that there was fight btw terrorist and army, and most of them were injured" Deepali cut her off and said "Madhu, everything is fine here, don't get hyper seeing the news, you relax and first take deep breathe" and she laughed, madhu felt embarrassed😳 and she said " Actually, miss you all, feeling very bored" Deepali replied " If thats the case, you can come back any time you want, we all miss you too". Madhu immediately replied " Really, is it not a problem, if i come back before the schedule" Deepali replied " Ya, even i use to stay here, while others go back to their house, as my parents are staying abroad" she completed, and madhu said " So i'll start within a day or two, and will meet you there" She was cut off by the voice from the other side, she heard " Deepali, to whom you are speaking " Rishab asked, even deepali was in shock, as rishab never use to question her before, so she said, " No its my roommate" and she told madhu " K, take care, will meet soon" and she kept the phone, Madhu heard his voice after so long and she felt relieved, but even she don't know why she felt relieved. She went to her dad and said " Dad, I need to go back" Malik was shocked and asked her " But Madhu, you said, you'll stay with us for 2 weeks, but now you need to start within 3 days, this is not fair" Madhu lied that " Deepali called me before sometime, and said there was some emergency, and they wanted me to come back" Malik made arrangements for madhu to go back, and the next day madhu was there standing before deepali, Deepali was shocked, she didn't expect madhu to return the next day itself. Madhu was about to say something, when the bathroom door opened and rishab came out just in towel. Madhu felt her heart squeezed when she saw him in deepali room in such a state. She immediately excused herself and came out, she ran to the room , where previously she stayed with Trish, she threw her bag on the bed and cried her heart out.
Deepali came running behind her, and she entered the room and called her. Madhu wiped her tears and straightened herself, and she said " No issues deepali, i'll stay in this room, and you can share your room with whomsoever you want and she went to the restroom and locked the door behind her. Deepali banged on the door and shouted " You Idiot, its not the way you think, just come out and listen to me" But madhu replied " I don't want any explanation, please leave me alone" and then deepali left the place, as she was called by karan. Madhu remained in her room till evening and didn't came out, then she heard a knock on the door and found karan standing at the entrance, she smiled at him and asked him to come in. He came and sat near madhu and said " I need your help madhu" Madhu became normal and asked " Command me, what am supposed to do?" she asked and he replied," this is not your duty, since you are in leave, and you came back out of your interest, can you please assist me in helping those injured soldiers" he said and madhu accepted it readily,as she felt " Serving soldiers, those who got injured at border, is also a way to serve the nation, and they came out of her room, Karan handed her a box of medicinal kit and asked her to attend those who are on first floor, as he will attend those on second floor, and he said "for any help, pls do call me, i'll send some more persons to help you out." She smiled and left to first floor. She check the first two rooms and helped those who were at those room, by helping them to change the bandages, and giving them the pain killer tablets.She knocked on the third room and she didn't get any response, so she asked " Is anyone inside, can i come in" she asked again and this time she got reply " Yes Madhu, you can come in" She wondered how deepali was there inside an she slightly opened the door and found deepali dressing RK's bandaged hand." Madhu wondered how she didn't find RK's hand bandaged in the morning, and her thoughts were disturbed by deepali's voice "You want anything madhu" Madhu replied " Karan asked me to provide medicals aids to those who were injured, so i just came this way, checking all these rooms, and i don't know that this is his room" Deepali got up from her seat and said " I have changed the bandage, check out and give him the pills he need"and she left the room, madhu turned to leave the room, when rishab cleared his throat, she turned and asked " You need anything " and he nodded and asked for water, and he looked into the medical kit which madhu was holding, she asked him, whether he need any tablets and he asked for sleeping pill, she gave him and asked him to take rest and she switched off the lights and closed the door when she heard his voice "Pls bring the painkiller with you, when you come for next round here" Madhu wondered, why he want her to come the same way for next round, she thought she would exchange floor with karan, and after one hour she completed all the rooms on the floor and came down and met karan, who thanked her. They all went for dinner, and spent hours there discussing about the firing that took place btw their soldiers and terrorist.
After dinner, karan asked madhu to go and rest, but she replied that she didn't feel sleepy, and stayed with them, then finally after sometime, when karan stood up and said, time to give food and medicine for soldiers, madhu came forward and took one medicinal kit, when karan said " Its OK, madhu, we can manage, evening everyone is busy with the meeting, so i asked to help you, now you can rest" Madhu said " I feel bored, so i thought to help you" Karan smiled and accepted. Karan and deepali took food packages, when madhu and Aarif took medicinal kit. Madhu turned to the Aarif and said " I'll go to first floor and you can go to second floor" and she fled away not waiting for his reply, deepali entered rishab room and placed the food packet on the table and said " Sir, I will give food packets to others and will return back to help you" and she left.
After some time the door opened and madhu came inside and found Rishab struggling with his food in left hand,as his right hand was tied with the bandage. Madhu went near him and asked " May I help you?" he kept the spoon in the food and moved aside leaving space for madhu, madhu adjusted his towel properly, and fed him, they both were silent and then madhu started the conversation " How it happened?" pointing to his bandaged hand. Rishab smirked and replied " Am not a school child to slip in bathroom and get my hand fractured" and he continued " While trying to hold one terrorist, he managed to get his hidden knife, and he stabbed me on my right shoulder, but i didn't leave him, i snatched the knife from him with my other free hand, and brought him to the main office, and from there he was taken back to jail." he replied smiling. Madhu had tears in her eyes hearing that he had been stabbed, but being a brave girl madhu said " Did you took any tt injection, or it may get septic" Rishab replied " Everything done madam" Madhu lips curled hearing him calling her madam, and she finished feeding him, so handed the water bottle to him. And then she handed the pain killer tablet to him, and when he asked for sleeping pills, she shouted " Evening only you took sleeping pills, and now you need it again, are you lost, how can you have these much sleeping pills on a same day" Rishab smiled and said " Pain killer in not enough to overcome this pain, and aslo i have head ache, so i need that to sleep peacefully." Madhu pouted and then replied, " If thats your problem, i'll stay here and chat with you until you feel drowsy, so that you will not feel lonely and i'll put some pain releiving balm on your head, so you will feel good tomorrow without headache, rishab was not ok with this , but he agreed on madhu's insistence.
She made him lie on the bed, and put blanket over him, and she occupied the chair which was near to the bed,and they started talking. At first Madhu was silent, so rishab just started the conversation, asking about her childhood,schooling, and friends and all.. and then madhu didn't gave any time for rishab to speak, he was just nodding his head and madhu was speaking continuously. Then telling about her whole history, she gave a little pause and had water, and asked rishab to tel about his family. Rishab just completed his history in two minutes stating,"He was an orphan and was bought by orphanage, studied through sponsorship, and managed to enter into army, and now have crossed around 10 years there" Madhu felt sad when he said he was an orphan, she just smiled at him and said " No one is orphan in this world, we all are god's children, and also here we all are there to care for you", rishab asked " You care for me?" Madhu was startled and replied "Yes, i care for everyone here, and every one here will care for each other" Rishab again asked " Do you care for me?" Madhu was not able to answer anything , so she just nodded "Yes". He got up little from his bed, and managed to get her hand. He sat on the bed and held her hand and said " Am glad, that you cared for me" and he kissed her palm. An electric current passed through her body, when his lips touched her palm, she suddenly took her hand, and turned other side and said " Its late already, you go to sleep, I'll go to my room" and she immediately went out.Rishab turned around in his bed for some time, and later he slept, may be due to pain killer effect.
But for madhu, sleep was amile away for her. She twisted and turned inside her blanket over the bed,but the instant she closed her eyes, the images of Rishab kissing her palm pooped up, and she got up with a jerk.Finally, after hours of struggle, she managed to sleep. She got up late in he morning, and she quickly had a shower and went to his room to find deepali feeding him, her face dropped and she told that she will have breakfast and return and she left the place. When she was completed with her breakfast, deepali came and sat near her and smiled at her. Madhu returned back the smile, when deepali put her arms around her shoulders and said " Am happy for you, you must be the lucky one, so many girls wanted this, and you are the only one who got it"Madhu turned with doubtful face, when deepali said " Rishab was waiting for you, go ".She left for his room in a confused state.As soon as she entered she found rishab smiling at her, she went and sat on the chair and remained silent, then Rishab started " Can i hold your hand, i feel better" madhu doesn't know what to say, he took her silence as token of acceptance and he held her heand and said " Madhu, i have never felt for nayone in life, frankly speaking, i have no one in my life to feel for, or some one to feel for me, except my friends, but i find there is something between us, from the very first meeting, i always want to meet you,near you, i tried to control myself, so i shifted with one of my colleague to watch out the border to avoid you, but then i can't"and he continued " When i saw deepali, talking to you on phone, on that day, i clearly understood that what i want " She raised her head in confusion " I want you , to feel for me, to love me, to care me, to laugh with me, to cry for me, for everything in this world" He turned towards her and asked " Will you?" and opened his arms for her. Madhu nodded her head in shock and said " No!!!!!Rishab" and she quickly got from her seat.😲
