FYI madhu will become heroine was the main storyline of the show,that's where the show is leading towards a journey of an ordinary girl becoming a superstar,although she's married to a superstar but she loves to live a simple life,even RK never tried to change her and loved her the way she is.
Speaking of kisi ki biwi,well when the show was started nothing was heard or a hint given about rishabala's marriage,as per the promos madhu was just a simple girl living in a chawl bumped into rk and he pushed her into films,and if the story would have started the same way as it was predicted and shown through promos than madhu would have been shown not as rk's wife but just a simple girl,any girl,middle class though but she belonged to a respectable family,what would you have said than "save your daughters kay kahin kisi hero ki nazar na pad jaye?"
Many bollywood actors were ordinary people and no one knew about them and now they are the big names,kings and queens of bollywood,who knows the whole truth they become actors willingly or were forced to.
When madhu entered in studio no one knew,not even mehul that she was madhubala rishabh kundra,first mehul noticed the way she walk,her hair flying,than her eyes and than he realizes that its madhu,Mehul begin to smile as he saw the way she walked in(he looked so bizarre)and decided that moment that she will be the heroine,and as per the script she's rk's wife madhu.
So I dont see anything wrong if mehul thinks that madhu is the girl he was looking for.
Btw if people are sensible enough,they will focus more on the acting and story line not on the budget.
