Pallavi is all set to make her south debut

Buzz is that Pallavi, who played Padmini in the TV soap Madhubala, is soon going to make her south debut. She has started shooting for an untitled Malyalam film, opposite southern superstar Mammootty, on Wednesday. VK Prakash, who has directed films like Beautifuland Trivandrum Lodge, will be directing this film. Sources said Mammootty will be playing a judge, while Pallavi will be playing his wife. They will be parents to two kids. The "serious and intense story with strong story line" will be shot in Bangalore and parts of Kerala. The film will also star Anoop Menon. When we called up Pallavi, she said, "Yes, I am doing the film, but I cannot divulge more." Interestingly, Pallavi is also making her Bollywood debut with Kaanchi, where she is playing the love interest of Mithun Chakraborty. Pallavi, who has relatives in Kolkata, frequently visits the city to attend to family commitments.
