@bold, absolutely ! for once, i wanted him to continue talking abt Madhu and how she was responsible for evoking the long lost feelings of love inside him 😆

I hope neither he nor his bhoot comes back to haunt us...

@bold: It actually made me wonder if the CV's are actually planning to make a saga out of it...
Actually the writers brought down Madhu's character very badly through Sultan... They keep her so foolishly naive as she is the heroine and they need to maintain the image of Indian telly heroine yet these people are the ones to bring their heroine down like this.. They made their heroine's character very unaesthetic... though later on thro' RK they made him say madhu's intentions weren't wrong but Sultan's words have a heavier impact when compared to RK's... There are a lot of subtexts to her character which the CV's are prolly afraid of portraying outrightly..

ETA: Nice reviews everyone.. LIke button mein thoda problem hai

Not going to watch the much anticipated episode. Madhu almost exactly spoke what I expected from her. This woman . I am😲. OK . I could not understand . Sultan would fight again. Is he dead really or a loose end is left for reappearance? The track is over. So is the charm of RM for me.

seriously Subashni, the episode got me thinking..CV's knew exactly what they were doing..If Madhu says that she's confused abt giving leads to Sultan, the CV's through Sultan, gave us the message that Madhu made him fell in love with her, so we were always right...It's so interesting how they play with their characters..half of the time our judgement on their characters is our own perception & imagination...Madhu was never this thoughtful & righteous, right from the beginning..she's driving the story through her insanity...be it with RK or with Sultan...

on second thoughts, how will the ishq and junoon come if everything is hunky dory in their life? if the characters are perfect?😛 How will they show the dark side of love?

"Aaj tumhara din hai RK,
kal mera hoga
Barbaad ho jaaoge tum
Kho doge sab kuch
apna pyar apni Madhubala
Nahi badlegi ye"

What does "nahi badlegi ye" means 😆

ETA the effect of Sultan's words have started showing already..Madhu saved Dipali 😆

Madhubala ek revenge, ek curse!! This is the essence of this show...

Every Tom, dick n Harry goes around cursing the leads and everyone is taking revenge on one another... I hope they won't show Aryan coming for revenge and Meera coming back to curse Rishbala..
For now we will have kukuji holding the torch of revenge...

And after the CVs realized that audience accepts people accepted by RK not the ones accepted by their confused heroine, they showed RK giving the lecher a title of martyr in love..
Hard luck CVs!! We use logic!! Not even RK preaching about humanity n friendship will make us change our stance on saving a hard core criminal from cops n goons...👎🏼

Yes. A final glorification attempt by the Much admired USP of the show. But they failed to understand Sultan saga dented R.K.'s image too. We no longer see him a practical, shrewd, clear headed person.

actually, the key to keep loving Madhubala is to accept that RK is NOT all of this ^ and Madhu is driving the story with her insanity & NOT her smartness or compassion or intelligence or ishq junoon..

Charu, the problem is they named the show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and not 'Do Ishq - Do Junoon' or 'Teen Ishq - Teen Junoon'.

CR - Agree with you on the cold blooded murder. RK kept firing at an unarmed man, even when he was down and bleeding, all for tearing the sleeve or a backless blouse and that too accidentally. How come he did not have to go to the court to justify his deed when poor Pads had to face trial for firing the double barrel gun at her pistol armed husband for trying to kill her daughter?

I guess we have ourselves to blame for showering praises on the dialogue writer of the show. He ensured there was a deluge of dialogues not only from the hero but also the villian and that too when they were apparently fighting to kill each other over a girl who is oblivious of the fatal attraction she trigger in these two men.

The most disgusting part of the episode for me was RK reassuring Madhu that she was not wrong to have encouraged the creep with her large heartedness. A man who till recently felt insecure about his wife's feelings for the man suddenly seems to have grown in wisdom.

A dark love story has turned into mindless comedy circus. Looks like the CVs seem to have given up even before the competition from star plus and Life OK starts two weeks from now.

A husband whose wife feels guilty, what is he supposed to do other than consoling her especially when she is in the present emotional state of mind? Is he supposed to tell her you could have been in the wrong? Even if he would have done that , people would have been disgusted by him saying what kind of a lover/husband he is..yada..yada

And coming to Madhu, the CV's need to keep her insanely foolish to drive their drama and they obviously will go onto justify her actions thro other characters...

That whole scene was basically CV's through RK trying to tell the gist of the Madhu-Sultan story with them saying neither was Madhu wrong nor Sultan wrong ...How did RK all of a sudden know that Madhu supported Sultan in his bad times.. Which bad times of Sultan did RK know?
