Love at first sight exists only in movies. In real life it is almost always a very slow progression. Ask your parents. They will not be able to tell you exactly when they fell in love.

Every person has a few dominant characteristics. In RK's case it was his ego which was powerful enough even to crush the softer feelings of his heart. And human mind is a very complicated piece of work.

Love and hate can exist together in it. In fact in "Immortals of Meluha" it is said: the opposite of love is not hatred, it is indifference. Hatred means you feel something for that person.

RK's love existed but was subservient to his ego. He also had fallen slowly in love but was refusing to acknowledge it. After ditching MB also he was sure that her love is for him only. Yes his motto was " Main bhi dukhi tum bhi dukhi". Sultan was a wake up call from him.

And then his insecurity and fear of losing MB ultimately defeated his ego.

And it is not that if we love a person we cannot hurt him. Love also comes in different shades and differs from person to person. At that time of unwedding RK had managed to convince himself that he doesnot love MB. And as I said earlier human mind is a very complicated piece of work and there is no limit to which it can go in denial mode.

RK's love has always been the selfish kind. He is not the sort to sacrifice his love even for her happiness. The shade of his love has never been the pure white. It is always grey.

Here you are wrong. Audience fully realized it, MB realized it (chawl scene after the shoot out) and Bittuji (resignation time and many other scenes) and Radha (in many scenes) also realized it. Only RK refused to accept it due to his ego. There is a difference between not realizing and not accepting.

There were several scenes shown regarding everyone telling RK that he is in love with MB and several posts also made on this forum regarding how RK is now going to suffer because of his foolhardiness and ego. .Just go back and check.

However, I can't vouch for whether you realized it or not. That's your prerogative.😆

and regarding that it was never verbalised by RK per se, you may please note that actions speak louder than words. Afterall this is not an under 12 serial where everything would be vocalised to facilitate target audience understanding.😆

and secondly, yes RK realized it and we did but it was too late after unwedding like u said...not in the starting

Thirdly, RK suffered? 😕...i didnt see him suffering but yea he realized he loves her and got her back..so all those posts were WRONG 😛

dunno abt viewers but this forum doesnt understand a thing unless its vocalized 🤔...like ppl thought Madhu hated RK until she shouted and said that she still loves him 🤣...and some others even after the 10 times confession thought she is lieing 🤣
