Priya yes, RK probably isnt really unique..he does follow the prototype of characters like Prem and Angad..but he is one of the most well written antihero..atleast he used to be till a few months ago..
the time when he went totally 'psycho' with the chaining and dummy story and stuff is when the writers lost their grip on his character because RK was smart, intuitive and not crazy
yes the writers have redeemed him to a great extent but its not the same anymore
quite often he is empty words these days..he talks a lot but actions leave a few things lacking
none the less RK-the original one is without aa doubt one of the most well characterized role

the problem with love stories in our shows is that they become boring and stale after both fall in love/marriage. the USP of these shows and couples is angst and UST and once that is done with it becomes diabetic. even in MEIEJ, most people love the fighting with each other Rishbala more than the lovey dovey ones
so the makers have no other option but separate them force fully
probably indian shows shd try foreign style seasons with ltd episodes. that will keep the romance alive n can have sensible tracks not inane ones. that will be more interesting n cast n crew also will have find it more interesting n we can have well planned tracks. not just d treatment, public will also wait for the next instalment.
and i dont mean season like how they have done for Nabole with no planning but just showing time leap. i follow grey's anatomy. d story starts from just where it left. it will be very good. instead of showing 1 hr epi for 24 episodes. we can have 52 episodes for one season. wd be intersting. wish we get it in india like that.
