I think Shruti, it depends on the situation..If someone kidnaps my child, I may try to contact the police & do every possible thing to make sure he's safe but agree to pay ransom if my child is safe..I pay the ransom & get my child back, end of the story...If a don demands extortion money from someone & threatens to kill him , that guy pays the extortion money & the story is finished..it's not wrong to care for your safety or the safety of your loved ones...aise toh a car may hit me if I step out on the road so does that mean i keep sitting in the house?
