Narcissim and RK's Character

Narcissism is the pattern of traits and behaviors which involve infatuation and obsession with one's self to the exclusion of others and the egotistic and ruthless pursuit of one's gratification, dominance and ambition.

On the outside, a narcissist appears to have higher than average self-esteem. Paradoxically, the narcissist's self-esteem is lower. For the narcissist, self-worth comes from the belief that he/she is superior to his/her peers; it is not enough to be "okay" or "pretty good," the narcissist can only feel worthwhile by being the best. It is this struggle of the narcissist to convince others of his/her superiority that results in the outward appearance of high self-esteem, and the inadequacy that the narcissist feels from not being the absolute best that results in the narcissist's low self esteem. In addition to fragile, exaggerated self-esteem, narcissists are also characterized by a lack of empathy, that is, a lack of sensitivity to the feelings of others. These traits are present in most people to some degree but severe narcissism may warrant a diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder.

RK has failed to realise the reason why his mother hid the fact Mohan Kundra was married before and had a son elseway before he married a second time to his mum. His mum hid this fact from him because he was so close to his dad, had she broken the illusion that he was a good person for him, he would have rebelled further probably left home after his mum married and don't know what would have happened to him on the street, believing he had a good father and Radhaji's using that father to to look at only MK's positives and tell her son, he believed in him someone to emulate and he achieved so much because he wanted to be as soon as the father that bore him. But RK has gone over the extreme with his various acts yesterday is refusal to treat his mother well and blaming her for the shooting of Sultan, shows lack of empathy, being self absorbed, In the hospital he refuses to take water from her to punish her that argument yesterday again is the same.

Madhu when she came into his life did try to change these traits he has but his mum is passive she tolerated when he gave her silent treatment and taunts her every now and again through Bittuji again he did it because inside it satisfies something when he taunts people, More then average higher self esteem we can see that his love for himself is huge and I think for him to keep believing in himself and his self worth he taunts and belittles others.

I confess I knew this from long back but I didn't care really, as all his bajaoing is entertaining, I just excuse this as there are not real people being hurt they are actors apply glycerine to their eyes and doing fake tears 🤣 and the others who take the bajaoing either retaliate like Madhu does, Sultan did also later, Radhaji the poor mum who loves him unconditionally is just taking it with no retaliation.

I didn't want to come here and put RK is a Narcissist with this explanation but it seems it was needed. As far as being a Psychopath I think like Sultan said the CV's are trying to show when Madhu is around him his madness (deewangi) is lessened he is content with her, it's under control when she loves him and is with him, Sultan said the minute she leaves him he will go crazy again.

We've seen that he definitely has a personality disorder, his antisocial where he doesn't to speak to people which won't add to his status and his objective to achieve dominance and fulfill his ambitions, during the unwedding he says wow enjoying the heartbreak of Madhu as she's sitting there completely heartbroken, yesterday his mother is crying did you see any remorse on his face nothing, after he shot Sultan for a brief moment slight remorse but thereafter nothing in the jail cell he said he doesn't regret killing him in the hospital the same, so it negates the few seconds of remorse on his face as he saw him fall over the cliff. 😳

So guys I think we shouldn't throw around these words...one is a Psychopath and my favourite is not because you see it depends on how you look at things, I've seen RK's narcissistic and psychopath behaviour and recognise it's only an entertainment show it's entertaining to see him act like a psycho, so leave the matter.

@red - reminds me of a criminal who used his own son for his personal benefit, his own mother for again his personal benefit, his only friend for again his personal benefit🥱

@blue - reminds me of molester who cant respect a married woman's wishes, tries to bully or dominate her with his perversions, seeks his own gratification in others pain, and has the ambition of destroying innocent lives😵😵

Of course it is a lack of empathy that gets RK all bothered and upset to see Madhu cry, its a lack of empathy that has him thanking his devoted secretary for his support on the day of haldi, its a lack of empathy that has him trying to control his anger for his distraught mom when a criminal barges into their home, its a lack of empathy that has him repenting the death of his "most hated enemy" because that guy was also a human! Most importantly its a lack of empathy that had RK surrendering to the police for taking a life.🥱🥱

Of course RK is self absorbed...its justified for a mother to lie for 20 years but its not justified for the son to be angry at her for some time...he is expected nay demanded to see reason immediately and settle all grievances that have hurt him so badly...he must forgive her overnight...he has no right to nurse his wounds and demand an explanation from her...he is a emotionless being after all...Mothers are always right but sons cannot be faulty human beings...words said in anger by RK make him lack empathy...but thought out lies and deceptions for 20 years demand accolades and justice...

he is just being spoilt brat, I think he missed all that fighting with his mum taunting her and saying the woman that gave birth to me, giving her silent treatment, I think he enjoys toying with people in this way, because Madhu won't stand for it now after they reconciled he has to find someone else, who better then his poor mum after all she was passive and watching him doing that to her for many years so he can start doing it again to her and she will just remain quiet.

diminished capacity for remorse - Has Bhai been remorseful for hurting RK and Madhu? RK was remorseful for even accidentally hurting a human being, albeit a criminal!🥱

nothing in the jail cell he said he doesn't regret killing him in the hospital the same, so it negates the few seconds of remorse on his face as he saw him fall over the cliff. 😳

@bold - true...dont misconstrue the facts please...RK never regrets killing Sultan a criminal...but he difinitely regretted killing a human being...Is surrendering to the police proof enough that he knows it was a crime, albeit in selfdefence.

Sultan doesnt even regret killing people in the chawl and encouraged Madhu to take a life...did he ever feel sorry for them or their families...psychopath! psychopath!!🥱

Yes, only a narcissistic man bends down on one knee and confesses, apologizes for his sins to a girl he wronged after he comes know she was planning to ditch him at the last minute. Only a narcissistic man surrenders to police after killing a man in self-defense accidentally. Only a narcissistic man keeps quite when he is being insulted by prisoners for no good reason but fights back when they insult his his wife without thinking of the danger he can face. Only a narcissist accepts his flaws out loud and calls himself a Kameena. Only a narcissist accepts that he was wrong and that it is his karma that came to bite him when he came to know the truth about his father, in front of his worst enemy.
