Regarding Madhu...more than dumb i would say she's thinking emotionally. Someone who cherishes her principles and is righteous to a fault is actually considering bribery!!! Shows her state of mind. She may not vocalize it but am sure she does feel she's responsible for RKs condition ( she had once mentioned to RK that Sultan wouldn't be in their life if it wasn't for her which was dismissed by RK) plus she loves the guy insanely. She is not thinking with her head at all. Its a difficult phase for both now. Being apart makes it worse i guess

I agree. Both Madhu and RK are not thinking of the case in its entirety but about the immediate issue of the bail plea which was coming up for hearing shortly. They may know that RK may be released eventually as there is no strong case against him but from glimpses of the PP, they are both aware that this man can drag them both in the mud and prolong the entire legal battle for months if not years together. We know how the legal system in the country functions. So even if a person is innocent, he/she can spend years in jail before the final verdict comes, if he/she fails to get the bail. So it is very import to get the bail.


When both Madhu and RK shared their fears, this is what was uppermost in their minds - would RK's bail plea get rejected because of PP's clever side tracking to his ugly past? Madhu's desperation stems from this fear. She wants to spare RK of the pain of getting verbally beaten for all his past sins. So if the PP goes light on him, he could be spared of this humiliation. Bieng the naive girl she is, she thinks that if she is able to bribe the guy, he will not press too hard for RK's judicial custody and RK will be free. Given that legal battles take long to reach their conclusion, they can then fight the case together.



As far as RK's shrewdness is concerned, granted that he is doing nothing but moping around but I guess they are showing how much the event has hit his senses. RK may be ruthless but he isn't a killer. The fact that a man (however horrible he may be) died because of him is plaguing his mind. In Mukhund's case he could think more clearly because he had not actually killed the man, although he was responsible for the accident. His arrogance dictated his actions. There was no way he was going to let a middle class girl put him behind bars. He didn't care for anybody but himself and his pride. This time around things are different. He has more to lose than he did back then. He is scared that he may not be able to spend time with his beloved for months on end if the bail plea is rejected. He knows how much Madhu loves him and he couldn't bear to think of how much this will affect her and, in turn, affect him. Gripped in this fear and pain, his mental faculties have taken leave of him. He is not able to disassociate himself from the problem at hand and think of ways to address it. He just wants to wish away the problem by not discussing it. Yes, it is foolish but at the present juncture he is being foolish. Even the greatest of intellects act foolishly when they are gripped in fear.


As far as CVs are concerned they are using the mental fragility of the hero and heroine to advance their plot. When Madhu and RK make mistakes out of their fear of losing each other, they will play right into the hands of the PP and the court room drama can get prolonged. Whether this will catch the attention of the viewers would depend on how gripping the court scenes themselves are.

agree with u kash... y rk is nt involved in his own case... he can defeat det dumbo lawyer who said rk makes money frm face n he is frm mind... its time to show det gangutelli... if rk comes with his own style... he has to find worlds bloody corner to hide his monkey face...
